It would be much easier if Dahua would have a software that can facilitate access to the nvr configuration. We are not all IT engineers. At least a software for Windows like they have for mobile phones.
Thanks for a great video, I have just installed my cameras & NVR ( Dahua ) and this helps a ton. Love to see some more videos of all the other settings on NVR and what they mean & what they can do. Love the way you explain things. From Durbs
Hi, if setting up router DdNS i would have to change my phone's camera (dahua)app address if i move back into my lan network? Does this still apply if i use the camera's own ddns settings instead? My reolink camera just connects on lan or wan without issue as does a cheap ip camera, could they be using that p2p connection maybe? Great video and very good information also!
For some reason the remote (external network) stops working (says offline) in ~15 min after nvr reboot. Works right after when launches, but later just can't connect via dmss app anymore
Thanks for the video so much. I just would like to know how to view my cameras in my Android Smart TV which is in another network then my cameras. Is there a specific app for that or what? thanks
hello. i set everything properly but when i browse to my nvr ddns domain, after input user and pword (default) it returns log in failed. any idea? thanks
Great video, will this work with just a dahua camera ...no nvr? Config tool...config camera. Setup rule in router for camera ip and camera port. Then add dns service on cameras network. Will i be able to live view the single camera from the app?
Hi, in the video at minute 13:55 you talked about DDNS enable or disable. What happen if I enable DDNS? As the way you showed you did DDNS in the router more secure, I did the way you show to fill in No-IP it is free only 1 month then they sent me a bill $24.95 for 1 year if I want to continue their plan
Hi Bro, I'm a Developer. I want to integrate this camera into online website. I hosted website in shared environment. Should I have own IP address for my camera installed local machine?
Hi. When the electric company shut down power 2 or 4 hours then turn on power. My camera network only work locally. My mobile phone can use gDMSS App to see the camera at home. How can I fix the problem? Thanks for your help
your ddns is not set correctly. Your ip address is probalby changed after powering up. Please use third party ddns provider. If you have set up your ddns with third party then you must check that you have an app running on your local network to update your ddns porvider if its NOIP: ruclips.net/video/l6glvUDwrN8/видео.html
This is painful to watch and too complicated. Just install SmartPSS on your computer and launch. When you have all the cameras viewed on the screen on the computer you are 1/2 way there. Don't bother with the modem settings, port forwarding...IP addresses...etc. Install free TEAMVIEWER on your computer and phone or laptop and remotely watch your computer screen from anywhere in the world with full remote control. You can even access your files and everything. www.teamviewer.com
so every installation site now has to have a PC as well as an NVR? What about the sites whereby the customer only has an NVR? And then the app for the remote view has many more features that are easy to use designed for a mobile format...
Idiotic to use TeamViewer FOR EVERY SINGLE thing - the CCTV Platforms are designed in such a way that there is minimal bandwidth used, seamless integration etc etc...
Very helpful for my new older NVR setup.
Thanks for taking the time to make the content
your a legend my freind.. im getting there.. still havent got it working.. but getting there
Thanks! Once I organised a DDNS I was up and running straight away. Awesome!
Great video, Good detail and well explained. Just what I needed. Thank you very much

Thanks for the video so much. I just would like to know how to view my cameras in my Android Smart TV which is in another network then my cameras. Is there a specific app for that or what? thanks
can you locate Dahua app in play store from your TV?
@@ecologicaltime Yes, I can get access to Play Store from my TV, but, which Dahua app should I install?
Do you know what happen when I can see Video Recording from NVR but I can't See video recording from DSS client Software
OMG; this was amazing. Thank you so much for this video!

Hi, can u teach me how to add dahua camera to a DSS7916DR whiteout a NVR not on the same network because the camera don’t have Register

Will i be able to live view the single camera from the app?
yes it will then you use the camera IP address as the server address in the port forward rule.
@@ecologicaltime it worked thank you
How can you view remotely on tv/ monitor/screen as opposed to mobile
Brilliant and thanks
Thumb Up and subscribed

you can use no-ip. You can renew without paying the $24.95. You can use other DDNS providers as well.
My router Huawei E5186 doesnt support DDNS. What do I do? I need to set up NVR for it
Thanks for the Detailed Step. But I think there is an easy way to remote viewing without the port forwarding or DDNS?
You can set it up on your NVR using Dahua own ddns. you will need to register with Dahua. You can see my other video of how to do this with Hikvision.
I am confused to my Router. I don't know where to put the port. Because Iam using Huawei Router. Do you experience in this type of router? thanks
I already set up with the dahua ddns, but when i click on the domain I registered, It not goes to nvr it goes to my router.
Zaldy Laylay because you are inside your internal network.
Can you show me how to do port forwarding to Huawei Router? It is little confusing.
Well done mate! Really helpful video!
I want to get a good DVR ..
I have 2.0 megapixels Cameras but I want to get a good quality DVR .. will you recommend dahua DVR ??
yes there is no problem with it.
Thanks a lot sir. You made my day.
very good
Thanks very much 😀
Thanks for this helpful video
When I try to access it over the local network, it asks to enable NPAPI, which is not supported any more. so what to do??
Thank you, very good video ;)
Hi Bro, I'm a Developer. I want to integrate this camera into online website. I hosted website in shared environment. Should I have own IP address for my camera installed local machine?
How do we get a ROOTER? Is it like a Roofer? I have a router already.
How much does a ROOTER cost?
THANK YOU VERY MUCH !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thank you so Much Sir!
Thx It's working for me
Does the IP of the NVR and computer IP have to b on the some network
Not if you use SMARTPSS but in usual cases yes they must be on same network

I pay NO-IP $24.95/year already so I think it is good DDNS provider
Is there any easy way to view dahua nvr remotely?(i am using nvr608 32-4k)
Zaldy Laylay yes if you use the p2p QU code and use the app
I DMSS - I PHONE
GDMSS - ANDROID
BDMSS - BLACKBERRY
thanks, but i am using NVR608-32-4K which not support P2P..
dear sir my router is not option dynmic ddns then ............... plz help me
How to see remote view of ip camera ptz
Thanks
ขอบคุณครับ
Thank you,
Why can’t you use p2p then there no need for port forwarding Then you don’t need a static or Dydns
yeah your right bro.. i was confuse also....
30 minutes, are you serious bro!
you talk too much causing us to get lost in the important points and instructions.
Just get to it less talking
Quite borring narrations, be specific and swift to explain things
