Listening to this for the 15th time hoping a handful of high schoolers somewhere performs it for a talent show. Breakdancing, costumes and everything.
Five Iron Frenzy, you guys are the nerdiest band I've ever known and I wish I was half as nerdy as you.

So far haven't seen a single comment about the hella fetching guy starring in this video. So now I'm writing one. His hair is glorious and makes me wonder how many birds could nest in it at once.

I discovered you guys when I was in high school, just before this came out (through a chain of Owl City collabing with Relient K, and they did a song about Five Iron Frenzy, and I'm like I gotta check this out) and I remember watching this a lot in high school, it feels good to watch it again after a few years. I love how these songs have so much meaning, but also can be really goofy and fun. A good balance.
Only FIF can be this cool with a freaky looking unicorn in their video.
Probably my favorite song off the album. It always makes me smile. So happy you guys made a video for this, particularly because it sheds a bit more illumination on the slightly more serious meaning of the song.

I hate to admit this, as an atheist and having been a devout Christian for a decade, but I used to listen to FIF and I think I'm going to continue listening to them. This song is awesome, as are some of their other ones. Hopefully they don't get too preachy. :)
+BW There are two atheists in FIF now. They've tailored their lyrics into being vague enough for either religious or secular listeners. The only mention of "Jesus" on their last album was in a song blasting right-wing Christians, so you're safe.

+BW I'm an atheist, always have been and I listen to the likes of FiF and Relient K all the time. They're great bands that make great music no matter what their faith is. I've never found either band to be preachy. If you haven't already, check out Brave Saint Saturn. It was Reese's side band where he could explore isolation and loneliness that wouldn't jive with the more fun sound of FiF.
mrcraggle Yeah, I still listen to a lot of Christian music too. I used to listen to Relient K a lot, but for me I lost interest after their second album. The first and second albums were classics for me. I have heard of BSS, I may check them out, thanks.
I love FIF, Relient K, Dogwood, Slick Shoes, and the like, but I mostly despise religion. Somehow have to come to terms with this cognitive dissonance :D.

Sorry, but this is not ska. You should revisit your The End is Here album and inspire yourselves more on that style again.
I don't know if I'd ever have labeled them as straight Ska though. They always felt like a Ska/Rock Hybrid to me, but I understand where you're coming from. I still like this though too.
