I saw this at my church for Wastes today and it was so moving! this video is what inspired our youth group to do it and I teared up a bit because it was done in Korea and it lifts my spirit to see Christians from around the world praising God!! I am working towards my major in Japanese and recently have been looking and slightly learning Korean as well. God bless you and stay Strong everyone!!
We performed that dance too yesterday and thanks God it was a great success, everyone was touched, understood the message and some almost cry. So my Status Group, which is Students Taking Action Terminating Unlawful Substances, is doing this dance for our assembly, except it’s not religious, the saver isn’t Jesus, it’s friends and family members. The main puppet (who is 3 people in our version, I’m one of them, yay!) is doing drugs (one is doing drugs, one has anxiety, one is bullied) and the savior (also three people) comes and stops the puppeteer and takes the mask off of the puppet. It’s very similar to this but different in just a few ways. We were inspired by your performance and I wanna say thank you for your amazing idea.
It starts with how we turned away from God our Creator and chose to live our own way, which instead of being real freedom, leads us to being enslaved by the devil. He enslaves us in sin, but even through it all Jesus never leaves us and reaches out to us so that we'll turn to Him and be saved. Eventually He gets through and when we turn to Jesus, our chains our broken, we see clearly, and we're set free from the devil's grasp! That's the basic story! Hope it makes sense and if you have any questions let me know!
