I lost my brother on 30 January 2019. I first heard this song on Octane a few weeks after his funeral. Thank you, while the song is hard to listen to, it gives me a connection to my brother again.
Man that's sad! I only have a brother and hes addicted to meth! This song hits home for me! And your story as well! God bless u in your time of sadness!
April 29th 2019 I lost my brother.... and one year later, almost to the same date I lost my other brother...this song helped me so much and also helped me shed soo many tears. I bought a 7 string just to learn this tune.. thanks dudes!
Many years ago when I was much younger, you played in my mom's bar in Kingman Kansas. I remember helping you move your equipment and explaining what everything was. I even got a signed poster from you guys, I still have it. You have inspired me to pick up an instrument, and because of that, I'm now a bassist. Thank you guys for making such a positive impact on my life.

But then again I have a feeling that you consider anything pop when you can actually understand what they are saying. Also good job at naming a few. Both those bands are a long ways from doing a tour with Taylor Swift. Just because you dont like it doesnt make it pop.
My oldest son died in November last year. His little brother is an Army medic who has been to war in Iraq and A-stan. This song makes me hurt for both of them. John never wanted to leave his brother and Lee always wanted to make his big brother proud.

I remember the week this dropped on Octane, I think it blew everyone away, not just the power and the strength of the riff and shifting mood, but the sincerity shows through
I've been playing your song over and over for the past month now. My son is 3.5 yeas old, and says when we are in the truck, "Dad can you play brother, that's my favorite song." You guys should come to The Original up in Minot, ND and play... On a side note, my brother is mentally and physically challenged in a disability home back in Louisiana, and this song makes e think of him a lot. I told my wife a few days ago, we need to go see him. Through your music, it helps me coup and remember him. Thank you.
Being the only son in family can be sad sometimes. I have three sisters i love. The song makes my mind wonder just what my bitty brother is up too. Its been 27 years now. But i have too keep moving on.
In Memphis we don't have a rock station anymore! XM radio is about the best source for melting faces off jams... My perspective, more than a few great and exciting albums out there! 🖖

Just heard this on Octane and heard that is was about his brother. I lost my older brother December of 2017 and this song is how I feel about him a lot. I wasn't able to say goodbye to him and he didn't get to see how I have grown as a father. I constantly wonder if he would be proud of me.
I lost my little brother in February. At 34 years old, he went to sleep and didn't wake up. He left behind a wife and 5 kids, his mother, older brother and sister. I cry when I hear this song. My brother and I hadn't talked in 6 years. This song means so much to me and speaks volumes about how I feel. Thank you for expressing my pain.
