Honestly, Dr. Modi's tips are fantastic. All English teachers, students, curriculum designers, professors should listen to him, learn and change. Thank you doc. This is exactly how we teach English using our software and videos-- create a non-threatening environment, teach useful sentences and essential vocabulary. Most of the students have more important subjects of science, engineering, medicine etc. to learn. Very few of them want to become professors of English literature or English writers. We educators should not waste the student's time teaching useless things.
To learn any language perfectly... there is only one strategy... that is:
keep speaking in that language...
Keep learning the words of that language and keep listening that language.

sir, I am listening to your speech and i have liked it very much , everyone should bear in mind that English is not our mother tongue it is a second language that we want to know and speak with some other people who know english or natvie English speakers. We should not be afraid of this language when we are not able to speak as good as others speak. it is also true when we do not speak correctly people laugh at us and that time we become nervous and fear starts while speaking although we are speaking correctly. From your video I have learnt one thing that we should not care others who laugh at us . let them laugh, we should not pay attention to their comments or laugh,we are learning and in ouT more effective manner. The most important thing to learn English is to start speaking in English whether it is correct or wrong. We should ignore their laugh by all means if we start to pay attention and see their reactions it is very clear that we can not learn fluent speaking. If we want to develop our speaking one thing that should be done first is speak speak speak speak and read more and more more more ,the more we read and speak the more we learn speaking fluently. It is my view point that if one has got the stock of vocabulary of 100 common words and one will be able to write thousands of lines using them making sentences. My motoher tongue is Hindi as you have and I have written this passage hardly in 10 minutes . though there may be number of mistakes of grammar but I have not cared about this and writing and typing what ever things are coming out of the mind.
In one speech I had heard that for raising the volume of vocabulary never use bilingual dictionary , only use English Dictionary. For one word we get many similar words with sentences and that give us clear idea about using the words. Thanks lot for giving the tips how to speak and learn English.
There has always been a doubt when to use word 'tell' I have heard that 'tell' is generally not used by the speaker that is 'I' . Speaker tells to second person or third person to tell something. I have seen that many people while speaking use the word' tell' as I will tell you or I tell you etc. If you know the difference please clear the confusion and this confusion is not only of mine this may be of a lot of people.Thanks.

Brother, I am also committing the same mistakes as you told. I am trying to learn how to speak. But in the same time i am not trying to express what i want to convey them. As far I know ,if some one wants speak in english, then he must go through following step;
1. You need to strengthen your grammar .
2. You need to read good books ,it may be a novel or some other book.
3. Speaking practice with your friends.
4. Post analysis of spoken sentences.
5. Correct you sentences.
6.Try to speak off hand(without any preparation) .
7.Try to stretch you sentence that will enhance your sentence making capability.
8.if it is possible you watch hollywood movie having English subtitle.
