I took my clear odyssey pads off my aitken s4 cause I was the squeaky brake guy.. in my journey for the best pads I stumbled upon the koolstop bmx brake pads in red.. game changer..! Some purple ones would look mighty fine on your whip.!
I'm liking the bike setup Shad, I'm working on building a Lineage bashguard Sport to ride as well. Whenever those bars are available again i'd definitely be in for a couple sets.
theres gotta be somthing up with the pads ive always riden the clear odyssey pads and they used to actually wear down down they just break apart in chunks, ive got a pair of eclat pads now and theyre working way better and quiet if you hate the noise.
Oh man, 44x13? Most people (even pros) ride something like 28x9, sometimes 30x10, which is something like a ratio of 3 (30/10), or a little higher on the 28x9 (3.11). A 39x13 would keep this '3' ratio, but 44x13 is a 3.38. That's quite a bit more!

Sick bike Shad I would drop the gearing down to 36/13 I would. Jason Enns rides a Haro master to 👍🚲💨
If this had a 36t it would look very strange with all that space between the guard and sprocket. 44/13 is a comfortable gear for me.

Chrome holds up great for me on sun rims , not so much on alienation or odyssey.
