This walk brings back memories Kev ,I was in San Antonio 30yrs ago always remember the egg on the roundabout as a landmark to get back home those fountains along the front are lovely at night a bit like the ones in the golden mile ,I remember that highlander bar and there was one called the Garage ,took one of those boat trips to an amazing beach as the San Antonio one wasn’t up to much
The last time I was in Ibiza was the last week and came home 31st Oct. Was there for a week and had the best weather no clouds ever day. I love Ibiza ❤
You heading over the bay, water taxi across to the playabella Hotel. Pop into the millennium bar say hello to junior and pepe, also stop by the resteraunt miniml say hello to Sonya and Jose. Great places and very reasonable. Love Ibiza
San An, some of my best hol memories ever, cafe del mar/cafe mambo, the bay is lovely Kevin, late in the season of course, but the night time vibe is great. Its getting pricey of course, but June and Sept are terrific. 👍
Hey great video!. Wouldn't be too concerned about the views (its the season we are currently in). Nearer months to the island opening I am sure with your content, the views will multiply!. Been going to Ibiza since the late nighties (even got married the at Hacienda Na Xamena Hotel back in 2010!). Back in the 90's and very early 2000's there was no motorways, beach boardwalks or official built bus station , has there are now. (even a Waitrose on the island!). I thought San Antonio 'was' Ibiza, but has I aged and my taste and expectations of a vacation on the island changed, I toured the whole island and found different places of choice to stay. Of all the places that I have travelled to, Eivissa has got to be the number one destination for me personally (with Mexico Cancun a close second!). Years ago I emigrated to mainland spain Costa Del Sol, prior to recently returning back to the UK. But the vibe (although great) is nothing like the white islands vibe and feel. Eivissa has just got that 'magical' unidentifiable draw and will always be my favourite place to go. The government just need to keep a tight rein on it ensuring that the a bulk of funds raised due to it's mass tourism, get ploughed back into it's natural conservation programme.
I was on the live earlier I take it you have not been able to get back on. My mum is originally from Port Des Torrent in Ibiza. We used to get the water taxi from there to San Antonio. I haven’t been for 12 years
