Our luck with wide receivers is insane. I was worried after we lost Thielen, but Addison has been the perfect addition. Solid deep ball threat and his ability to make contested catches as well as those toe taps.
There was absolutely nothing lost with Thielen gone

Maybe - and the game against San Fran shows that we were starting to click, but our defense really started showing its limitations as the year went along.

Jordan Addison - 17 games, 70 receptions, 911 yards
Justin Jefferson - 9 games, but basically 8 due to injuries. 68 receptions, 1074 yards
All of you people saying we can let JJ go because we have Addison need to recognize that while Jordan is good, he is no JJ.
Give JJ all the money and lock him up. He can get 192 yard receiving with Mullens throwing. I would love to get Kirk back, but I would rather have JJ.

@@user-qt8re5ix2l Powell yes, Osborn no. Osborn never step up when JJ was out and Powell was the one that became more reliable when teams doubled Addison and TJ.
Amazingly, we hit on two consecutive WRs in the first round in JJ & AD.
Kirk just looked smooth back there. Sign him for 2 more years. On to JA, he impressed me because he caught most passes that he had a chance to receive. With a healthy Kirk and the mistakes of fumbling and Ints by those other Quarterbacks behind them, they can rebound in 2024. I just hate losing a home game to London adding extra stress on the team.

He had 7 TDs before Kirk went down.. I agree he would’ve had a lot more if Kirk was healthy!
Some of those contested catches were ridiculous, both of Mullens td throws to him were dangerous and could’ve been intercepted, but Addison hung in there and made GREAT catches, ALL receivers should take notes on some of these catches and realize that even if the qb throws a bad pass, you can always make an adjustment to catch the ball like Addison did in a few of his catches
I really dig the dance he did after his first TD against Tampa.

WELL ROOKIES JORDAN ADDISON WAS VERY GOOD WIDE RECEIVER BECAUSE HE ALMOST HAD 1,000 YARDS BUT HE GOT 10 TOUCHDOWNS.
Minnesota is capable of drafting some of the best offensive weapons. Moss. Carter. Adrian Peterson. Harvin…etc but can never find the right qb.

It’s such a Minnesota sports thing for Kirk so be balling out especially in the packers game and be a happy as can be and then just get blown out of the season🙄🙄🙄
I am in the middle on the new GM and HC, but, JA was a good pick and you have to give credit for thus far one of the 4 best moves to get him. The other 3 good moves so far have been Pace, Hockenson, and Risner, I will say the jury is still out on Ingram but he looks at least serviceable. Need a lot of work in starters and depth still.
If not for Nakua you could make a case for this guy as having. the best season of the rookie WRs, I know you can throw Tank Dell, Zay Flowers in that mix, but Addison was clutch when JJ went down, and he had silly 'lil boys throwing to him for half the year. PS: Holy crepe I forgot how terrible that Chargers game was, ouch my poor heart.

If you feel dissatisfied with this season, remember the 2016 season? Full of injuries that derailed an otherwise promising season, then 2017 came along and we made it to the NFC championship round. It could be wishful thinking but I can see why it happens like that.

We have these 2 stud wide receivers. Don't waste their talents like you have so many others settling for a "good" team. Go get your franchise qb in the draft, build out the team with the cap space and win a championship! For once

@Big_Bake teddy started like 5 games into his rookie season. Had alot of mediocre play his first two seasons. The last 4 games he started looking like he be something until his leg fell off. The point im making is they did start him sooner than they should have. Did it affect his career probly not because of his injury. But 100 percent find a qb that you love in this draft move up as far as you need to get him and let him sit behind cousins for at least a season
They would have to trade if the WR to move up!!!

@isaiah5752 I forgot about Puka. But remember who was throwing to addison. I think Stanford was injured a couple games too but it's not crazy to think Jordan would have been 1200- 1500 yards and 15 tds with a full season cousins
