I'm guessing the no chargine whilst recording is due to heat. The sensor/processor get hot whilst filming and if you add the heat generated when charging it could be that gopro is worried the camera might over heat and then would shut down or preform worse.
I love your videos they are kick ass man what do you think of super 73 RX or hyper scorpion I’m gonna buy one or the other Love the ONYX it’s just too much like a motorcycle the only problem with the scorpion hyper it weighs a lot I know you’ve ridden all three can you help me out man I think it’s super 73 RX but I need a little help what do you think man
@@loopholeculture It's way better with your voice. instead of the music. Your commentary is what keeps us coming back for more. You're killing it on this channel!!! I hope they give you an ONYX.
Chad Slice my mic failed for just this video and half of the one before it. The rest will have commentary I just couldn’t afford to not post this amazing ride
Yeah, I saw that part when your mic failed. on the other video. I know your are trying to do daily videos and you can't let this good footage go to waste.
If your mic ever fails again you could give doing a voice over a shot! I know we'd all love to still hear your commentary even if it's after the fact. Sad to see the Onyx go though, I don't think it will be long before you grab one of your own!
This is one of my new favorite channels. I only question the riding down the steps and jumps etc. I understand the need for content but an ebike has sensitive parts , connectors etc. I believe that only if you have a serious mountain bike with certain suspension etc should you ride rough over certain surfaces. My first ebike taught me well. I had to tighten screws and re tork bolts about once a month just from “normal” riding. I can see why so many are having issues with their motors and parts etc. Hey but keep up the exciting adventure on your channel. It’s content that people love so I get your point. Just treat your own vehicle a bit easier or you will have to pick up the parts that you broke off as you were riding... 😷. 🚴🏾♀️
I think that is dumb you can’t charge and record. I guess that’s why other vloggers use multiple batteries. How long can you record on a fully charge go pro? I am assuming longer on the 8 than your nostalgic hero with a lot memories on it
@@loopholeculture lol you actually only need a permit. And your can drive off the lot. Funny thing is after that your cannot take a road test in a car registered in your own name..
I’ll probably get an ONYX if they give me a deal with these promo codes or I can find a used one. Don’t really have space for one right now though. Not gonna ditch the R73 its too fun when it’s functional.
@@loopholeculture Once you get your new motor, you could contact Luna cycles and get a stronger 52v battery instead of stock 48v. Maybe higher if the motor/controller allows it. Don't know whats the max voltage on the Super73 motor-controller , but you can usually run different voltage. Some aftermarket motors can run 36-72v. Maybe upgrade the controller and you could easily get 45+mph. As cool as the Onyx is, I still prefer the R, RX. I would also swap the tires for narrower 3.5inch tires. Lighter, less rolling resistance compared to stock = faster accelerating since you have less unsprung mass. You will also get more range out of the pack. Another thing that would be cool would be to wire a second battery in parallel for when you need extra range.
Looks like 20x 4" tires are available in a road compound: urbandrivestyle.com/collections/tires-tubes-20x4-inch The Vee tire speedster look like a good alternative for pavement/gravel and are also available in a tan or white sidewall if you like the vintage look.
Answer to you Camera Battery Charge question. NOT safe to CHARGE and DISCHARGE a battery at the same time... There power Fluctuate and causes the charger to over work the battery and potentially can cause a FIRE🔥. Even when it comes to a cellphone, your supposed to turn OFF the phone and then charge it. Battery charge quality will last for years longer. Charge and discharge at the same times cause Battery Degradation I live in Inglewood, California. I go by the name Batman of Inglewood since 2012.
Onyx RCR are a few guys building bikes in a garage. No wonder they are expensive. Some people have wrecked theirs and nobody will work on them, You have NO support. They are basically history.
Your going to miss the speed and acceleration when you go back to the S73 :(
Just placed an order with your code! Thanks man!!
Hero 8 at night looks good. Thanks for the daily content bro. Can’t wait to see your next rental bike bc I know you waiting for gen 3 with super.
Can you please tell me the Top speed you can get from this ONYX your Riding compared to a Super 73 RX?
Looks like it does 60, RX does around 30ish
voice over with little music in back ground?
Yo that tunnel scene with the music was dope! Gave me heist crew going to the job vibes. kudos
What kind of bikes are they on?
What’s more comfortable to ride , Onyx or Super 73?
Good music at least. Nice ride in the night. I also Love your new Channel Title: ///LOOPHOLE CULTURE///

What is the top speed on your bike? I just got Juiced Bike Scorpion and I can only go 30 miles top speed!!
The onyx rcr top speed is 60mph
I love the Night Ride- hypnotic. This is better than ASMR! Do more in the main streets, looks better with all the lights or go downtown LA...
How much charging did you do that day?
I’m on the fence of getting a Monday Motorbike Gen 7 or an Onyx like the one you have. Any thoughts on these two?
Watch my review of the Gen7 before buying one. Should be online in 2 days
whats the top speed for the s73?
Hustle doesn’t stop and new GoPro🎉👏
Great video! Music was good but I missed your commentary. Always makes me laugh 😀👌🏻
So which is better the Onyx or the S73 ? Short answer please
Onyx has more speed but the looks are ehhh and S73 they look cool but they are slow
is that stock? or modified in any way
The image quality is amazing on your new camera!
I know I wish the mic didn't fuck up

Great video as always bro, hope you can be riding soon!
Parts of this video were like watching a live-action Akira. More of this type of thing, please.
I felt like I was batman

no but you don't need a drivers license to buy a car

Planning on making the RCR my first vehicle. It's for all intents and purposes a motorcycle.

that headlight is so underwhelming. My old bike light is brighter than that thing. It literally lit up the whole block.
ohmygod so dangerous going that fast right next to parked cars that too at night , uh oh , nono :worry:
I need an e-bike before they plug the loophole
3 videos in 1day that's hard.
You gonna want to be careful going fast on the bike lane.
Yo D lol you should have came to me for tracks to use lol nice video doh!
You got tunes? Link me

Should just do a voice over on your edit.
No way! Commentary wont be the same as in the moment.
Gurpreet Singh just temporary...
I think the Sur-ron is way powerful and u can do wheelie long period of time vs a onyx
Riding a $4000 bike but only have one dollar to eat priorities are a little off my guy lol.
