Thank you for taking the time to put this video together - very helpful! I don't miss the slider, this approach totally makes sense - really well done, Jeromy, on a product that truly unlocks what these cameras are capable of. Having used the Ninja for over a week now, one thing that would be a nice addition would be the option to re-position the buttons at the bottom, so that you could have your 1:1 or 2:1 right the beginning between waveform and focus peaking. It's just an extra movement to slide the buttons for a feature I use much more than say vectorscope - but of course, each user will vary - hence the idea of allowing the user to re-position them. Two other quick suggestions, if I may: 1) When the LUTs or Monitor tab is open (to select which LUT or your monitor output ie HLG, PQ,) could you have a "preview" or "minimize" button to the right of the lut presets and monitor presets? This would turn off all other overlays and just move that one row with the LUT or monitor buttons to the bottom of the screen where you could get a better sense of what the image looks like as you cycle through the presets. Then you push the "preview/minimize/restore" button (which would still be seen in that row) and it goes back to normal. 2) When switching your audio meters to vertical (and ISO!) orientation (awesome feature by the way), could it be possible to not show the track meters for those that are disabled? - so for example you just see A and 1-2 tracks or just 1-4 if those are the only ones selected to record. Regardless of whether you can implement these features, the Ninja V is rock solid! And when you get a moment, check out fathomcamera.com for a camera cage that is being released November 1st that works beautifully with the Ninja V and all the latest 4k mirrorless cameras. Cheers mate!
Thanks so much for this video! I’ve been an inferno user since it came out and I loved the Atom HDR functionality there. When I got my hands on the Ninja V, I was really disappointed that the slider was gone and wasn’t clear what those buttons were. This video made it all so much clearer! This makes so much sense, I was just lost for my first shoot on this as I didn't know where AtomHDR went! This video is invaluable even for this techie! Thanks!

I felt like I'd won the lottery this week because I managed to get hold of a Ninja V last week and I've been using it all week. It's an incredible bit of kit that has made my life a whole lot easier. Even managed to get an AtomX SSD.
Awesome video Jeremy. I personally love how you’ve gone with the new PQ and HLG. Standards are set for good reasons. So it’s essential to know what they are. Well done.
Excellent video! Keep up the great work. I love my Ninja V! I've not dared get into HDR yet and this has helped me get more confident with the concepts and will help me give it a try!
Great tutorial! No, don't want the slider back! I'm going to be sharing this great overview of the Ninja V with my film students @TowsonEMF in Baltimore, MD. Thanks, Jeromy!

Hi @@BlackWarriorLures, Luke here from Atomos. Thanks for reaching out and giving us some positive feedback. We have worked very hard to deliver the Ninja V and are extremely proud of it. Our team certainly appreciates hearing how much our customers love our products. Happy shooting!
I'm taking delivery of my Ninja V on Monday, for use with my GH4. Where can I best learn more about HDR and the capabilities of the GH4 in this regard?
My favourite product that im gonna buy soon...Because of that i will learn mapping HLG V-Log L to Rec 709 ''By Overexposing at V-Log L to Rec709 format'' but also i can monitor that.. to see when i really clipping so i will get much clean footage at this small sensor because of HLG...but also i will record at Prores for best workflow and performance.. And finnaly i can work at Davinci Resolve without dealing with transcoding and proxies.. I reccomend to add the SDR to HDR slider but with some small icons down or left the slider that you can tap to lock to HLG or PQ So this MACHINE can save me money from spending that at high end workstation PC for just doing ''smooth'' editing but with 0 actuall knowledge about correct capturing of an image... Great Video with a simple explanation thank you. I have had my Ninja V for a week now and loving itI look forward to seeing a manual! Regards the slider Vs standards - could you not have both? a slider but with the standards overlaid which you could tap also?
Thanks for the recent firmware update that addressed 3D LUT black colour issue. Is the HDMI signal level mismatch and clipping (16-235/0-255) going to be addressed?
Great video. Really helped clear things up a lot! I have the older Ninja Blade with a firmware update and the old HDR slider and I just love it....currently still shooting on my GH4, but when I upgrade, I'm thinking I will likely sell the Ninja Blade and my SmallHD Focus and buy the Ninja V.
Great video to help clear that up! I am so happy with my Ninja V already and am super glad this is the first one I own. Quick question: do you have a recommended monitor mount for the Ninja V? I see you have one here, but can't figure out what it is. Would love some recommendations! Thanks!
Great video explaining all the new features. I’ve been using the Shogun Inferno with my Sony A7R3, which has been an amazing combo, but the Ninja V at 5” is a welcomed exchange for this camera. One question - how did you mount the Bright Tangerine arm to the tripod and external battery? Looks like a nice little setup.
Some reviewers were complaining about the missing AtomHDR, this helps clarify things. I hope they update their reviews. I'm getting a Ninja V when I order my Z6. I got a T-shirt at PhotoPlus, it's nicer than Nikon's shirt.
Thank you for the clarification! I was swayed by a complaint by a commenter, but I absolutely understand you wanting to stick to standards. Perhaps for those that want the slider for nuances, it can be changed in the "settings" button.
Hi, Can you please reccomend how to expose the Lumix S1 Full V- Log. Do we have to go for 80 IRE for Highlights and not less than 20 IRE for shadows ? Thanks
Hey, thanks fo for the video. If starting with hdr would you recommend using atomos ninja inferno or ninja v? Ninja inferno has higher nits, does it mean the HDR will be different?
i'm trying to activate the Lut "during record" option in the Ninja V but i can't. What are the steps to follow to be able to record with an applied Lut?
Thank you for posting. It helps. I assume you can still set the built in LUTS after setting the HLG PQ settings so it approximates what the final grade might be? Also since you are now working with standards for recording, have you made any default HLG or PQ to Rec 709 for knocking it close to to SDR in FCPX, Premier Pro or Davinci Resolve in the say the form of LUTS? Also are you supporting Blackmagic Camers not for recording but for monitoring in HLG and PQ as well? Then a Ninja V would serve double duty on my current cameras and then gravitate towards any Blackmagic raw or ProRes recording simply as a better than stock monitor with the HDR monitoring capabilities. Thank you
Hey Alex, As long as the camera supports relevant supports HLG and PQ standards we will support it. Will pass on your feedback about workflow flexibility, it's something we find really important and want to make good impacts in :) Thanks.
I have the ninja inferno for my gh5 and I will be getting the V for my Blackmagic pocket 4k, I understand hdr but my only concern is - if you expose for PQ how to you bring down your highlights to SDR without getting clipping when you are post work in the software? really would help out if you can make a tutorial on the post workflow. I thought at the moment divinci resolve was the only software able to work with hdr? but I been out of the loop for a bit. Im really interested in shooting HDR but there isn't much info out there on the post workflow to make me confident . thanks for the great equipment and customer service.
Suggestion, Please on next firmware make the interval 709 - HQ user choice. I assume it will let the user adjust it accurately if the scale includes the . 709 , HLG and PQ scale points. What about the Audio? Can you publish tutorial video? thanks
I really love the product but. I would like to have double tap to zoom in to the picture or pinch zoom feature or if that is not possible 2x zoom placed on the screen so that it is allways there. or it could be the first icon in scroll menu. thanks
I was so annoyed! haha been sending you emails of disapproval. Then I tried everything button and function in the menu and Bam! Got back my HDR :p I think it's beneficial but harcore atomos users are so used to the old ways. Time for innovation! Tnx for explaining Guys! Atomos All the way!
Hello Jeremy, First I want to start by saying thank you for making such a fantastic product! I am an original owner of the Atomos Shogun and it's been my Fav monitor to date. With that said, I needed a smaller monitor for run and gun shooting so I purchased the Ninja V as well. While I do really like the new UI, I was hoping there was a possibility to also have the older layout as an option as well. I really miss the colorful buttons and the navigation of the old UI :( Maybe there can be an option to choose in the menu settings which UI you prefer? That would be badass! Anyway, wishful thinking. Regardless this is still the best and most cost effective monitor money can buy with with all the professional tools Atomos offers in their monitors. Thank you!!
I'm shooting on a Sony A7III and I'm wondering if this will let me shoot in Slog2 and output a file with Rec709 gamma baked in? My thought is to save the time it takes to convert slog footage to Rec709 in my editing suite, while retaining that slog dynamic range for further grading.
A quick question:- If I link the ninja 5 to Nikon Z6. When recording will the ninja be controlled by the Nikon Z6 record button? Ie stop and start Also will the signal go to the ninja and the Nikon xqd card as well Sorry if these are basic questions
What I don't understand here: when I display hlg the waveform shows the hdr range up to 2200 (in vlog) so the waveform shows a properly exposed image. When I switch to rec709 without changing the exposure the image is extremely overexposed but the waveform range (which changed to 0-100) is still in the middle and wont show overexposure. Am I missing something?
Could be a few things but I think it's because even though it's showing you what rec 709 would look like your camera is still shooting log and there for not really over exposed, so the wave form reflects that. If you were to switch your camera profile to rec 709 and not only the atomos monitor I'm sure it'd reflect that.
Hi @rarevfx Luke from Atomos here. Thanks for the question. With a vlog input in one of the HDR modes (PQ or HLG) the graticules change from 0-100% to 0-3200% to indicate the linear IRE level of the encoded signal. When in Rec709 all of the signal above 100% linear IRE is clipped on the display, while the recording still contains full information. For most log curves, some where around 60% on the 0-100% range is equal to 100% linear IRE. Anything above 60% will clip to the display in Rec709 mode. Hope this helps.
Thanks for this video. I purchased the ninja v and so far its works. I have some notes for you guys, Its little disappoint me to figure out that I need to spend average 130$ more only for the hdmi cable! Then go and figure out how to use my first atomos monitor, no user manual! Thats really drive me up the wall. If I would know that probably I was waiting a little before buying it. In addition, the heat is to high and noisy especially when switching between monitor and play modes.
Black Warrior Lures the 500g atomx drive about $200 / 1tb about $380 - $99 hdmi - mount varies depending on your rig probably $35 to $50 plus batteries which vary 35 to 150 and an ssd reader cable $20
When I purchased a Ninja V it was on the basis, stated in your Ninja V product brochure, p.38 and by Atomos reps at trade shows that TIME-LAPSE would soon be possible. Numerous firmware updates later it still isn’t. Time and time again I’ve contacted support and the usual response is "This feature will definitely be added to the Ninja V soon and we haven't forgotten about our customers who have been patiently waiting for this! Our main priority right now is bringing Multicam recording to the Sumo 19 and Shogun 7 through massive firmware updates which are both scheduled for October and November 2019 releases but after that, Timelapse will be pretty high up on our priority list.” A year later it's pretty clear to me that Atomos isn't interested in honouring its advertised features.
Macdonald - Atomos are awful at supporting their old products :( 2 or 3 minimal updates and then they move on to their next thing... (I've had Ninja2, Flames and now Infernos) I would love Atomos10 on my Inferno, but its stuck on V8.5 - and probably will always be...
Hi I have a question if I may.. Is the HDR slider (or buttons on the new interface) a visual representation of the maximum Dynamic Range the camera is capable of recording in Log? If yes, is that true only for the make/model/log type which have a selectable preset for the slider (or buttons)? For exa, ple, how would you use the slider/buttons to display the maximum DR for V-log L by Panasonic if you can only select the full V-Log option (from Varicams)? Cheers
If you were monitoring Vlog from a camera with a PQ screen you'll notice if you keep bumping up the exposure you'll notice on the luma waveform that the footage will clip at some point. The waveform is representative of the dynamic range of a monitor and not the camera.
I am using Ninja V with Lumix S1H. PQ mapping with Vlog V gamut works best at ISO 640. I installed Panasonic L- luts for monitor. BTW, do you have a fix for the latency issue during recording? Will your updates in 2020 for Pro res. RAW out from S1H solved the problem?
I would like to shoot an exposure guide for the Sony A73 and Panasonic GH5. Is there information on what to set your Waveform and zebras to for GH5 V-log and Sony Slog2, HLG etc? That would be a helpful tutorial if you walked through what the upper limits are for different log profiles.
Is there any way Atomos recorders can be used to transfer files from the SSD to another drive? I would find this extremely useful to make file transfers/backups on-site. I love the ability to make preliminary edits using the “Edit” tools, but it would be great to be able to have some kind of file management in the form of “copy” and “paste” to another storage device. Perhaps a module for the future could be the inclusion of a USB slot?
I'd grab a SATA dock with built-in one-touch cloning capability. They do a simple bit-for-bit clone of a drive. All you have to do is plug it into mains power, no computer required. The only downside to this is that if you've only written a few gigs worth of data on a 1TB drive, it's still going to clone the entire 1TB drive which going to result in a time penalty.
Just received my ssd drive from anglebird. Being a photographer, doing video I struggled with the lack of an instruction manual. Image quality is great. Initial comments. The monitor runs hot. 4800mah batteries went flat pretty quick. Trying 7200mah now. I found the video screen dropped out for a few seconds)went blank) and the audio sync with lips seems 'out' bu milli seconds. Does anyone know how to delete a file from the monitor when stored on ssd? And does anyone know how the get my Fuji xt-2 to record on the camera and ninja at the same time or do I have to switch both on at the same time. (Camera set, FHD to SD and 4K to HDMI/ssd. Cheers
@ATOMOS I'm noticing that the incoming signal often dips below 0% IRE even though the camera isn't outputting that. This is a problem because when using LUTs which are designed to work between 0-100% (ie every LUT out there) it clips the shadows. This is with v10.01 firmware. I don't know if it has something to do with the input being full or video range (another vote for a way to set the input appropriate to the camera's output), but it needs to be fixed as it's clearly some sort of bug. Thanks in advance :)
Hey Paul. What camera are you using? We do have an update coming which will let you adjust the range to be either full or legal which will help with this greatly. Thanks
ThIs OS makes a lot of sense. So much so, that I don’t understand why it hasn’t been rolled out to your other recorders as a firmware update. I have a SUMO and a SHOGUN and this OS, particularly the HDR controls are a much needed improvement for professional work. My camera, my audio recorder, my computer, my software, all get regular updates and all are older than my SUMOM and SHOGUN.
I have a Sony a7iii and recently purchased your Ninja v. From time to time I would like to set the Sony to other flavors of HD and record them to the Ninja. However, when I set the Sony to 1080/30p and then launch the Ninja v those setting become greyed out and the Ninja defaults to 4k/23.976. Is there a way to NOT have the Ninja default to the highest settings and allow me to record other flavors of HD?
how can i expose for a loadet LUT if i want SDR and still keep rec2020 colorspace for 4k? We can only chose Rec709 OR a lut in HDR mode. And if i disalbe HDR on input page its rec709 only.
Off topic, but ive been trying to find that exact hot shoe mount for weeks. i like the locator pins on one end, and have found the smallrig product, but the other end is not a hot shoe mount. Can you point me in the right direction someone?!
Look at the Cameo Swivel mount sold by Abel Cine - been using it with the Ninja V and it's perfect with arri pins and shoe mount weighing practically nothing! instagram.com/p/BpbwIgggJVB/?
Makes sense. I think I probably would like the “standard” set selection as you have moved to vs the the slider. However you did not go into LUT’s. Meaning for showing say the BM or Panasonic or JVC 709 LUT or custom LUT’s. That might really be better with a slider. Experimenting how I MIGHT grade in post using a standard LUT or even my own custom LUT?
Can I not record ONLY externally with the a7iii? When I hit record on the ninja it does not activate recording on the a7iii. This thing is so confusing it’s literally brought my workflow to a halt. I need help.
Hello ATOMOS. As I just ordered the new Ninja V from B&H photo, I found this video and I am excited to see this new feature (or rather new interface?). In the video, you asked if we would want the slider back, and here's my opinion: Knowing the standards is very useful, but if you could add one more button on the side and maybe call it "Custom", and let that open up the option for the slider. Also, in the slider, instead of indicating by percentage like before, would it make sense to how much of stops of headroom I am expanding? (I am a S-log shooter, and I like to over-expose by 1-2 stops to get away from that noise floor. If I can increase X# of stops in camera but then see what it would be X# of stops, and know exactly by that stop numbers, it would really help. Just my 2 cents!
Lots of benefits when using one of our recorders. SSD recording is far cheaper and the ability to record longer than the internal time limit is a huge bonus as a couple of examples.
Hi Johan. Thanks for reaching out. Luke from Atomos here. FS7 doesn't have a built-in HLG curve so you should be matching the slog picture profile on the camera to the same log curve and gamut on your Atomos device. You can still use the AtomHDR for viewing this in HLG or PQ. Hope this helps.
@@AtomosChannel Thanks for fast answer! But IF I choose to record HG from Fs7, should I choose rec709 or log mode on the Ninja V? (sorry for bad english)
@@johanwilen2230 Happy to help! What you need to do is match the Ninja V input settings with what your camera is outputting. If you are shooting HG (hypergamma) then set to rec709 as we do not support HG. Otherwise change output to slog and monitor in HLG or PQ on the Ninja V.
I am having problems with the Atomos not giving me the correct display from my camera. It is showing up oversized. I put the correct camera in as input. Can you help with this?
Hello :) Main feature benefits is the expansion module slot (SDI, NDI, Sync modules all to come), Atom OS10, a smaller screen and ProRes RAW over HDMI from Nikon later this year (others to come).
I have the Ninja V and record in ProRes Raw, and those it is nice to practice with it I don’t find it extremely useful yet. As technology advances and more people get HDR phones and TVs I can see this being useful, but right now it’s not that critical to have for most projects I shoot.
Fitting both may be a bit tricky. We played around with the idea of selecting one or the other as an option. Will pass on your feedback to our development team. Thanks
I have a Shinobi monitor and I'm quite happy. I suggest one improvement. It would be very beneficial if the zebra could be stored in two or three memories. Frequent setting changes for different situations are very inconvenient with the slider.
Can we give credit to the actors in the background! Great work aha

Thanks Jeromy.
I really love the product but. I would like to have double tap to zoom in to the picture or pinch zoom feature or if that is not possible 2x zoom placed on the screen so that it is allways there. or it could be the first icon in scroll menu. thanks
Will pass on your comment as a feature request to our team. Custom menu buttons on main HUD would be a great addition. Thanks
I was so annoyed! haha been sending you emails of disapproval. Then I tried everything button and function in the menu and Bam! Got back my HDR :p
I think it's beneficial but harcore atomos users are so used to the old ways. Time for innovation! Tnx for explaining Guys! Atomos All the way!
Hello Jeremy,
First I want to start by saying thank you for making such a fantastic product! I really miss the colorful buttons and the navigation of the old UI :(
Maybe there can be an option to choose in the menu settings which UI you prefer? That would be badass!
Anyway, wishful thinking. Regardless this is still the best and most cost effective monitor money can buy with with all the professional tools Atomos offers in their monitors. Thank you!!
Fantastic work! Does Atomos have plans to incorporate Blackmagic Raw into the Ninja V?
Might depend on if camera manufacturers can figure out how to send RAW over HDMI. Currently (to my knowledge) a RAW signal can only be sent over SDI
No plans at this stage however we will pass on your comment as a feature request to our development team. Thanks
Such well articulation of hdr
Which hot shoe adaptor are you using to hold the Ninja V?
What is the Maximum Frame Rate the Ninja V can record at 1920x1080 ?
So you can supposedly shoot cleaner SDR but you can't view it on the ninja?
A quick question:-
If I link the ninja 5 to Nikon Z6.
When recording will the ninja be controlled by the Nikon Z6 record button?
Ie stop and start
Also will the signal go to the ninja and the Nikon xqd card as well
Sorry if these are basic questions
Yellow Ribbon Studios yes. Z6 can trigger the recording.
Would be nice if there is a flip out LCD just for settings and leave the monitor clean from any info.
It's a good point would like to know also
@@mickchambers2904 lets hope atomos responds
Could be a few things but I think it's because even though it's showing you what rec 709 would look like your camera is still shooting log and there for not really over exposed, so the wave form reflects that. If you were to switch your camera profile to rec 709 and not only the atomos monitor I'm sure it'd reflect that.
@@Ryan-Payne need to check that out
Hi @rarevfx Luke from Atomos here.
I've been worried about the noise level as well.
Totally agree with all you say.
@@laurencegrant2882 What is the total cost of this unit?
Base unit $695
SSD?
Cable?
Cage, mount and grips?
Black Warrior Lures the 500g atomx drive about $200 / 1tb about $380 - $99 hdmi - mount varies depending on your rig probably $35 to $50 plus batteries which vary 35 to 150 and an ssd reader cable $20
When I purchased a Ninja V it was on the basis, stated in your Ninja V product brochure, p.38 and by Atomos reps at trade shows that TIME-LAPSE would soon be possible.
Numerous firmware updates later it still isn’t.
Time and time again I’ve contacted support and the usual response is
"This feature will definitely be added to the Ninja V soon and we haven't forgotten about our customers who have been patiently waiting for this! Our main priority right now is bringing Multicam recording to the Sumo 19 and Shogun 7 through massive firmware updates which are both scheduled for October and November 2019 releases but after that, Timelapse will be pretty high up on our priority list.”
A year later it's pretty clear to me that Atomos isn't interested in honouring its advertised features.
How much is the % the old slider in a HLG for slog2? for slog3 he say it's 3200, right?
Is there a way to mirror the screen ? It is super frustrating when doing vloging !!!!
Any chance of us ninja inferno users getting atom os10 firmware update.
Macdonald Kengaletswe yes it would be great if they update the Ninja inferno interface to match the ninja V and make them visually uniform
@@RichardWait Then this is sad considering that the infernos still cost more than the V.
I Love this dude.
Can iT follow the bitrate of the xt3 ? And new cinema pocket ?
Sure can :)
Give this man an Oscar!
Hey Jeromy im Atomos Ninja V customer and i got question
Would it be possible to get 120fps recording via hdmi from GH5s?
Hey there, at this stage there isn't a camera that outputs higher than 60p over HDMI. If that changes we will investigate options. Thanks
Dear Sir/Madam,........may i know this Ninja5 work with GoPro Hero6 Black edition ?
Accidentally clicked at 12:25 and fell of my chair. Anyways, can't wait to get my hands on one of these.
Will this new UI be available on the shogun and Ninja Infernos via a firmware update?
No plans to share for that at this stage however I'll pass on your feedback to the development team. Thanks
i have a question am a noob lol does the ninja v touch work out the box or do i have to hook it up to camera? thxs
Thanks for the feedback Craig. Will pass this on to our team.
Can you make a video how to correctly expose s-log2 on your monitors?
Thanks for the feedback, will pass this on.
Thanks
Can you have your waveform monitor and focus peaking working at the same time? Or can you only have one on screen at a time?
both
You definitely can use both at the same time :) Thanks
Is there a way to NOT have the Ninja default to the highest settings and allow me to record other flavors of HD?
in somy menu, hdmi menu, do not select auto but 2160/1080p
how can i expose for a loadet LUT if i want SDR and still keep rec2020 colorspace for 4k? We can only chose Rec709 OR a lut in HDR mode. And if i disalbe HDR on input page its rec709 only.
Can this record 4K 4:2:2 10-bit 60p from the Sony PXW-Z280. If it isn't, can you recommend another monitor.
This is a 4k recorder. The stats you want to record are dependant on your camera not the recorder. Best checking that first.
of course it will
Off topic, but ive been trying to find that exact hot shoe mount for weeks. i like the locator pins on one end, and have found the smallrig product, but the other end is not a hot shoe mount. Can you point me in the right direction someone?!
Look at the Cameo Swivel mount sold by Abel Cine - been using it with the Ninja V and it's perfect with arri pins and shoe mount weighing practically nothing! instagram.com/p/BpbwIgggJVB/?
Would you stay with Native or HLG with EOS R?
Makes sense. I think I probably would like the “standard” set selection as you have moved to vs the the slider. However you did not go into LUT’s. Meaning for showing say the BM or Panasonic or JVC 709 LUT or custom LUT’s. That might really be better with a slider. Experimenting how I MIGHT grade in post using a standard LUT or even my own custom LUT?
Can we use the zebra when monitoring with PQ?
Zebra values are designed for Rec709 mapping so what you see will not be ideal. Thanks
Why do the highlights seem to crush on the monitor at about 700?
Can I not record ONLY externally with the a7iii? When I hit record on the ninja it does not activate recording on the a7iii. This thing is so confusing it’s literally brought my workflow to a halt. I need help.
My Ninja V has warmer color tone when first use after open the box!
Thank you lee priest for another video!
Would it make sense for me to purchase the ninja V for my GH five if I do not have the log profile ?
Lots of benefits when using one of our recorders. SSD recording is far cheaper and the ability to record longer than the internal time limit is a huge bonus as a couple of examples.
According to Peter Gregg he says that you will not get a clean 24p HDMI export from the canon 90d . Is that true
Please answer. If you shoot in HG mode from your Fs7. What seting is the ringt on. Should I switch it to HLG/slog mode or stick to rec709? Thanks.
@@AtomosChannel Thanks!
I like the Ninja V, but with the micro/line input I am not able to use a micro. Is this a single Issue or have other also this problem?
Hey Dieter, sorry to hear that you're having trouble. This should work. What sort of Mic are you using?
I love my Ninja V.
boy am i glad i didn't order the smallHD focus. It's about the same price! Soon as these are in stock in singapore, im going to get one
I am having problems with the Atomos not giving me the correct display from my camera. It is showing up oversized. I put the correct camera in as input. Can you help with this?
HDMI output scaling from the camera? EG:; HDMI settings, output, 100%.
Difference between the inferno and the V? Besides the screen size? Im new to all this.
Would it be too much to ask for both the standard buttons and the slider for atomHDR?
Fitting both may be a bit tricky. We played around with the idea of selecting one or the other as an option. Will pass on your feedback to our development team. Thanks
I have a Shinobi monitor and I'm quite happy. I suggest one improvement. It would be very beneficial if the zebra could be stored in two or three memories. Frequent setting changes for different situations are very inconvenient with the slider.
When I use ninja v with z 7 and ronin s HDmi gets disabled when I use Usb c cable
Hey Sarju, you should be able to find some info @ forum.dji.com/thread-170800-1-1.html . Thanks
Hello. I am just wondering if I can use this Ninja V only as a monitor without inserting the SSD onto the the monitor SSD slot. Thank you.
Yes, you can, though it's a bit overkill for just that.
Hey Tai, You definitely can use the Ninja V as a monitor if you wish. Let us know if you need further help.
