I almost bought this but I don’t usually re-read these types of books. So I’m glad I didn’t buy it since it wasn’t a 5 ⭐️ for you. I’ll have to pick it up from the library 📚
Yeah, it’s still so good, but I was a little disappointed in that twist. 🙈
I've recently wanted to get into thrillers. I even thought about trying Riley Sager. Can you recommend some thrillers that are cleaner in content? I typically read pretty clean and am clueless about thrillers. I will say I would prefer ones that are more thrilling and not too creepy if possible. Thank you for any help!
This vlog was so fun!! I can’t wait to pick up this book when it’s out in paperback. I’m curious cause my sone does summer school but what determines what teachers work during summer school? Do you volunteer? Do they do a system where they go around and all teachers have to do it when it your turn? Just your curious mom over here. Also I’m finally starting The Wishing Game and it’s different from what I thought it would be but there is an elementary school teacher and she has a student who lost both his parents and his foster parents don’t make time for him it seems so this teacher she is selling scarves and doing other odd jobs to save money to adopt this child. He stays after school is over to help her clean her classroom and she reads him these books called clock island books by this author that’s retired and they also play a wishing game where he wishes for more clock island books! All that to say I’m reading this book and I’m picturing you as the teacher. I’m sad this Riley Sager book disappointed you. The only one I have read by him is Final Girls and I really liked it. I want to read some more by him.
I’m sure it depends on the school, but for ours, it’s not required. We can volunteer. The pay is great, and it really is laid back, much more than regular school. We still learn, but with a little bit more flexibility.

Okay, I want to read this book, but I just need to know before going into it.. Is the ending anything like his book The House Across the Lake? Bc that ending was so frustrating and such a cop out to me with how it played out. Can you please answer this question? And if no one else wants to know, don’t read her answer!
