My husband left me almost two weeks ago, 7mo pregnant with a toddler, I am fighting to forgive because the enemy would love my offense to cause me to act outside of my character. I even left the church we went to because he is a full time musician there and in order to keep peace at the moment, i have been having to put in a lot of distance..
Bless your heart and i pray The Lord sees your heart and posture. May The Holy Spirit comfort you. Pray for your husband. He serves in Church and does not see what he has done. He needs your prayers.!! Marriage is a ministry. Help yourself to heal by praying for him.
Perhaps the Good Lord is using you to bring about a change in his behaviour.
It's ok if you are struggling to forgive in this moment since the events are recent. Of course, forgiveness will need to happen eventually, but don't rush it. I agree with the other commentor to focus more on prayer. Not necessarily for a change in your husband's behavior (ultimately, a husband is meant to lead and a woman, the submissive, cannot pray a man into being a leader if he doesn't want to be one), but prayer for strength, encouragement, and to feel God's love strongly in your life in this difficult time.

This word comes just on time.
For like 3 weeks I have been grieving the loss of someone I'm still in love with, not being able to cry until yesterday that I broke down in tears and felt so much pain.
I chose to let go of him while I'm still in love with him, he has not done me any wrong not have I done any wrong but I had to let go as my Abba had asked me to let go and I had fall into disobedience since delayed obedience still disobedience. But oh Lord the pain in my heart.
Trust me, if Abba told you to let go, it is ABSOLUTELY for the best! You don't want to find yourself attached anymore to someone not of God, or before His timing!
Grace Strength and Peace be your portion in Jesus name!! It is not easy doing what you did - and I applaud you for that!! Remember God takes priority and if He is truly Lord ovedr your life you will want to obey Him, at all costs (in order to not become guilty of idolatry)

I struggle a lot With forgiveness because i see people fail me so many times, wether it’s friends, family or co-workers or bosses, men. I guess i expect people to be 100% rightous, which we as human beings simply arent, we are sinners.
Just like we fail God so many times, we fail and offend eachother. And just like our God we have to forgive eachother over and over again, because we are not perfect.
We should learn from it, but not be angry, because it will end up hurting us longterm.

After 10 years of being celibate after separating from my Son’s father, I have been faithful and diligent. The journey has been difficult, humiliating and at times shameful but I preserved with hopes of the Lord honouring me. Today I have made the decision to end my celibacy journey - from the age of 23 to now 34 I feel like a failure. I had hoped to give my son a family and have more kids but I have watched the years pass and nothing to show for it. I still love the Lord but my heart is broken 😞
Whenever I pray, which is often, I first ask for forgiveness and forgive others...this is a everyday thing that I do.🙏🏽

A born again saved Christian can go to hell for being hurt in a perpetual relationship with a loved one who continues to hurt them? Sometimes a person can hurt us constantly. You can even choose forgiveness but forgiveness is still realistically always a process. I find it surprising that you said that to the people who are saved 😮 Also millions of women get married with all kinds of hurt from their past. Its not that women are not ready for marriage just bc they have hurt. It all just seems a little extreme
