FIXED! I had the same problem. I let it power up for 30 seconds after unplugging and plugging it back in. Then I disabled the ready sensor by holding my hand over the wave sensor for five seconds until the little light went off. When that was disabled the wave sensor worked. We’ve always kept the ready sensor off, so whether that works again or not is not an issue for us
same exact problem here.. from a battery change only! i'm on my 2nd fullset (moen sent me a full set). previous one had the same problem - top sensor stopped working. the enable/disable process actually require the top sensor to be working and right now, i can't disable and would need to remove the battery if i can't disable the sensors while away for a while. removing a battery actually is the safer route anyway since on both items, i had the darn thing starts by itself like it's possessed and i need a priest to exorcise it!
These faucets are garbage. I have the same one - the water flows good when the sensors turn the water on, but the water flow is pathetic when using it manually.
The instruction manual says to cover both sensors with your hands and wait for the ready sensor to blink. Keep hands there for ten seconds until ready sensor blinks again. This is used to enable and disable the sensors

i just installed my own and the lower sensor works fine but the upper one (wave sensor) does not work at all.... tried everything but still it does not work....will try changing the batteries tomorrow. when I block both sensors no light comes on or flashes.... nothing .... blocked them for an entire minute.... no light at all... pretty disappointed with this atm.....
Neither of my sensors works. Brand new out of the box faucet and the batteries are Brand new. Actually my faucet decides to spray water whenever it feels like it. Was watching football 12' away from the sink and all of a sudden the faucet is running. POS

Try changing the batteries. This is the common fix when the lower sensor stops working and only the upper continues to work. Opposite of your problem.
I have the same problem. The difference here is that the faucet is hard-wired. Will reach out to Moen.

Honestly I’ve never hated a faucet so much! I’m going back to the standard use your hand faucet

Actually moen sent me a brand new one that works fine. Took a little bit of bitching and screaming but they sent it. Finally happy with it
