I don't care what anybody says, I love them both. The Stelvio and the Giulia are stunning and amazing and I will have them. Yes. I will have them both. When I can afford them. Both. Yes.
I just purchases a Stelvio TI sport, white, red interior, nero package. Looks awesome. It's a blast to drive, incredibly responsive, peppy, and surprisingly comfortable. It's got a few quirks, the nav and associated screens are not great, but I never use the Nav, so it really doesn't matter. Some buttons when lit mean the "system" is off, while others when lit, mean it's on. Cracks me up, but there is a pattern to it, so after a week, I get it. All this blustering of fit and finish on the inside is overdone, I paid $47k for this fully loaded. Same loaded X3, would have been $15k more. I think it's a fair interior for the price point it sits in. Also drove the Quad, that engine is nuts, and I mean that in a great way, it's insanely fast. At basically $80k all in, I might grumble about the interior then, but the engine is so good, you can grumble all the way to the finish line while everyone chases you. One gripe with the Quad, which is why I ultimately passed on it this time, the bolstered seats are not very user friendly. I'm a smaller dude, and they are just not fun to sit in for any length of time. There is no way somebody 6-2, 200 lbs is going to fit in those seats, if I can't at 5-6 and 170 soaking wet. But when Alfa gets that sorted out, I'm in on the Quad too!
What a great car! Had the chance to test drive it here in Switzerland. Feels really different than other SUV's. I drive a RR Evoque and this would be the perfect replacement!
It amazes me that Alfa killed it on the Stevia and Guilia right out of the box and Cadillac, who has thrown billions and decades, to be blown away. Cadillac may have a New York headquarters but the competition has it beat every wear else. Jaguar and Alfa have done an amazing job.

Renting a ‘21 model now, and I have to say this: 1- fun vehicle 2- auto start isn’t intuitive from what I’m used to from Honda / Dodge / Ford 3- lift gate doesn’t raise high enough for my 6’ height, so I frequently bump my head 4- headlights turn w the vehicle steering, which is helpful 5- electronic gear shift drives me bonkers, in that there’s no quick way to memorize what to push to go to reverse vs drive vs park
Agreed on paddle shifters and exhausts, steering wheel is awesome, seats are fantastic. I get 32.5 mpg at 70 tp 74. Put it Performance mode, hold on!! It’s a sports car with an SUV body.

I have a Giulia Ti Sport and my main concern with the Stelvio is the utility portion of the sport utility vehicle. Since the interiors are identical, I know my Giulia is a great sports sedan interior, but it has useless cup holders and not much storage in the cabin. I think a sport utility vehicle should have that. I also have a Honda Pilot, and storage is abundant in the front. I know the Stelvio and the Pilot are not in the same class, but I still think it's main competitors, the Porsche, BMW, Mercedes all provide more of that, too.
