    Invest in YOURSELF - It will make all the difference. Consistency and repetition are the sharpest tools in the toolkit of winners.
    As Dr. Stephen Covey says: "Be patient with yourself. Self-growth is tender; it's holy ground. There's no greater investment."

    One of the best if not the best book out of the 80+ books i've read on self-development so far is "The slight edge". I sincerely recommend it for everyone to read, its definitely the best book on consistency, and compound interest.

    • @TheIllerX
      @TheIllerX 5 лет назад +3

      Thanks, will look it up.
      I have also read tons of self-development books. I must say that many books are just a lot of words which often sounds pretty good, but contains very few real advice you can apply to your life. But there are a few precious exceptions.
      I just read a nice book that seems to be a bit about the same topic, called "The practicing mind" by Thomas M. Sterner, which I can recommend.
      It is a rather short book without unnecessary filler pages of empty words, but focusing on the few main ideas of the book.
      The main point of the book is to focus and enjoy the process of learning and becoming better rather than just looking at the end goal.

    Good video as always.
    I have one problem with this advice of finding you passion and that is how to find it.
    It is not like I suddenly get a strong urge to carve wooden figures of animals or feel that I just really want to become a good chess player or anything like that.
    The part in realizing it is would be a good idea to find a passion is easy. To actually find it is hard.
    I just end up with a frustrating feeling that I should find my passion, but don't know how.
    Nothing feels that exiting that it would qualify as a passion. Most things feels "meh, whatever, I could learn about it, but it feels rather pointless."
    A few topics feels a bit interesting, but it is hard to see how to build an actual passion from that, especially something you could make money and make a living from.
    Some video of how to actually finding your passion when you have a hard time finding it would be nice.

    • @theemperor129
      @theemperor129 5 лет назад +3

      TheIllerX The key to finding your passion is looking at those topics you find interesting and try them out until one of them connects with you. Passion comes from being good at something that helps others, not from inner “happiness” as we’ve been led to believe.

    • @samred5431
      @samred5431 4 года назад +3

      I don't know if this will help, But it's been suggested to me that you can never find your passion. Passion is almost paramount to your meaning in life. It will find you along the journey; through the shit times, the good times, the people you meet and the potential asshats you also meet. But through that accumulation of experience something begins to form through your consistent activity with what-ever.
      Do everything. (not stupid self-destructive schize obviously) pottery, volunteer work, sewing, study, business, martial arts, anything. something will add up sooner or later :) If you're not trying everything you're doing it wrong as my asian dad used to say

    What is the difference between efficient and effective?

    • @christianwilson1394
      @christianwilson1394 5 лет назад +2

      Stoian Constantin efficient is getting things done in the best way possible in the least amount of time so that you can move on to other tasks and objectives. Effective is doing something to the highest of qualities in the most efficient way over and over until mastery or completion.

    • @stoianconstantin7397
      @stoianconstantin7397 5 лет назад

      @@christianwilson1394 So effectiveness comes on a higher level. One must learn how to be efficient first so he can reach that effectiveness standard later.

    • @christianwilson1394
      @christianwilson1394 5 лет назад +1

      Stoian Constantin that’s what I believe because I feel like one can become efficient at ineffective things. Yes effectiveness comes after efficient. I also feel like it is easy to become efficient at being ineffective and that is dangerous. Procrastination! Lol
