And they have the potential to make the business 10 or 20 times larger than he could do on his own. That's the difference between 100% of a million or 55% of 20 million.
By getting 3 of them onboard, they will help speed up sales and marketing. However, he should have countered with a share buy back offer once a certain target is met. The fact that he didn't even think of that shows he is in need of their help badly and that is the price he has to pay.

Crafty people ... They run him down for a mistake and make out out like there doing him a favour buy ripping him off making the poor fella feel like there helping him out by rinsing him... Shoulda gave them the fingers and left lol
I was afraid he won't take the deal cuz what his valuation showed us that he's uneducated when it comes to the businesss side of it so if it was me with them asking 45% of the business, i would give it without thinking simply for 2 reasons :
- the first one I need mentors to get me straight and get me the business knowledge I need if i want to start an other business.
-Second reason : I already invent things so this is just me getting my feet wet in the business world, so with what i said when it comes to the need of mentorship so in the near future i'll be capable of running my business on the both sides, so i wish him luck
SO HAPPY FOR VON!!!❤❤❤
How is this business doing today?
So the Dragons wanted 40% of his business, so what? What people often fail to recognise is that the value of the business in a few years time - with the Dragons on board - will be 10 fold what it otherwise would be. 95% of nothing is nothing. 50% of millions is millions. Before you criticize these investors too much give that some real thought.
3 way split, please explain
Yea that deal is not gonna go through.
Why do I feel like this deal won't go through?
How can Hancock even be in employment after what he has done?
Own 55% of something big or 100% of nothing.
I think this young man is a real gentleman and I hope that they treat him well Peter is probably kicking himself in the back side for his arrogant manner….. I think Peter was unhappy he put the cart before the horse… maybe Peter should learn a little bit of humility and not act so high an mighty ….I’m so glad that this “Gentlemen” got the help he needed even though it was at a price …. I am so glad that sweet Sarah is involved… don’t get me wrong I like Peter and I love this show but once in a while he has to come down a peg or two…
Sara is very attractive here
This guy is terrible at negotiating. He definitely needed help, but the buyback should have been to 30%.
These dragons are snakes, they try rip everyone off and act like they're disrespected for a slightly low offer
