An American Town Square With a Live Music Band - Woodstock Illinois

Groundhog Day movie was a big movie hit back in the day. It was filmed, almost in it's entirety, here in Woodstock Illinois right in this very town square.
Recognize the park area? The Gazeboo? The hotel building, the brick roads, the movie theater ... and etc. Movie filming locations can be found online for the Groundhog Day movie, this is simply the town square where most of it took place.
Here is my walking tour and relaxing walk around town. And I was lucky enough to have music in the park this day. Many people camped out listening and cheering them on.
The area is usually a nice and bright, cheery area to be in, I suggest a visit.
One of the best places to visit in Illinois, or best places to visit in the united states if you want that nostalgic and family feeling.
