I’ve been coming to Weymouth for the last 20 years I came in may with my 12 year old granddaughters to have a group of 8 of these young men dressed in latest gear all on phones making gestures towards young women including my 12 year old granddaughters.
It’s an absolute disgrace this is going on in our once great country. Our homeless are on the streets in the bus shelters !
Other holiday makers also made comments regarding their behaviour to young women and said they are giving Weymouth a miss next year !

All men of fighting age well dressed all with new iphones and no women or children..if its so dangerous back in their country, why leave ur wives and children to potentially die in a supposedly volatile country. If these men aren't in fear of their lives if they were, they would've brought their families here to safety
My thoughts on keeping them on this housing barge is , we have had and still have millions of our already homeless sleeping rough on the streets but the government has never once thought of helping them out with any type of shelter, so why now all of a sudden they are spending money putting a roof over the heads of people coming in from abroad and helping them out in any way they can, call me old fashioned and someone with maybe an ounce of sense, but shouldn't we be seeing to our own first and then people that come over from other countries ? 🤔

-free healthcare and prescriptions, free dental with doctors and nurses on board, these doctors and nurses are taken from local practices.
-free regular luxury coaches put on for them all day every day every half hr.
the accommodation is simple but adequate, better than the Dangerous lives they have come from,

They get given free bus service down to the town and back….. they get a card with money on each week to spend down the town… a free phone on arrival with credit on the call home …. There own doctor, dentist on there as well.. they go down the town on there free bus take from shops with out paying sit on beach with there free booze they got from local shops with out paying then get free bus back home the have the last of the free 3 x meals they get there….. lots more I know don’t ask how I know but I do…. 🤦♂️ 👍👌😡😡😡

All young healthy men and not one single woman or child in sight. I'm all for taking in refugees but not like this. There's a hotel near me in dumfries housing over 60 migrant men, I'm thinking of going there and doing an audit.

Free accommodation, food, transport and a little spending money. Why do we have to feel sorry for these illegal (not asylum seekers) people. According to their tails of woe they have fled from much much worse so I am sure they will be forever grateful!
It was fine for Workers on the rigs.
We provide the bus service for them so they don't have to walk all the way into town and back to do their shopping.
Which we also pay for.

My thoughts are: It depends on what sort of human beings they are. If they came illegally then they are still probably better off than where they came from. I just hope the Govt knows who they are and what sort of risk they may pose, if any, to the British public. My guess is they are all young fighting aged men. Where are their wives and children? Do they have any. If they do and they are claiming they left their former home because of prosecution, why did they leave their wives & sweethearts and or children behind? Just some simple questions.🤷
There is no way this government could possibly know (or care) who these mainly fighting aged men are simply because they dump their documents right after they have paid for the dinghy fare and secure their transport to England. It's an absolute disgrace on every level especially when we have our own people in need.

Not sure why you say this barge looks pretty rough when it is after all housing men from war torn countries (like France) on a temp basis. If you want to see actual rough go have a look at some of the hostels English people and their families are having to live in whilst on the housing list.....I feel certain they would prefer to be on this barge all day long or better still in some of the 4 & 5 star hotels what many people have documented on You Tube.

The vast majority of UK homeless live in B&Bs or hotels, but are still legally listed as homeless.

The bus takes them from the barge to Weymouth town and back again. It runs every few hours.

From the lack of bags I’d assume the bus is one of the chartered buses paid for with taxes to shuttle them into town on the daily. I don’t think they’re new, they’ve been dossing for a while now.
