Honestly, if it comes down to spending less (like in the case of most ME fragrances), I'd rather get it early and store it myself. All these "big" designer or niche companies that wait for maturation before release, they have to put it on shelves and store it. Who pays for that? It's not them 😂, it's the consumer.
I understand your view on that, but big brands like Maison Margiela can afford to store theirs. When these less expensive fragrance companies (like Indie or inexpensive Middle Eastern) do it, it doesn’t really bother me.
I’m curious to smell Afternoon Delight, we are in spring now so I guess it won’t be too cloying🤔🤔. Please do more of these if possible even though I’ve heard they are not popular 🙏🙏. Stay gorgeous 🥰🥰
Oud for greatness smells really good. It is strong. I bought the Dupe for $22 and it is strong. It projects really good. Initio fragrances are so expensive. Goodness. As a gourmand lover, I do love Palo Santo and saffron. I feel like I will love Mancera Eternal wood. I'll have to get a sample.
Yes, Initio’s prices are soooo high! As for Eternal Wood, I wouldn’t classify it as a gourmand. The Palo santo in it is smoky and woody. It doesn’t smell edible. Hope that helps!
Hi, great video. Have a decant of OFG, a bottle of Oud For Glory and Eternal Wood… love them all. All have that scent but the OFGs lift up at the end of a sniff while EW sniff goes deeper and sticky to me at the end. Weird way to put it, I know. I am rocking with that EW sweetness first all day but will use them all in rotation. Pending on my mood.
I emptied a bottle of Madeline and the juice was the same color as yours and I got the same experience. I don’t get the same richness and sweetness from Afternoon Delight yet. Hopefully when it macerates I will get the Madeline accord and doughy richness. I agree with you that should not have to wait for fragrances to macerate. But I also see ppl doing reviews on vanilla fragrances right away saying they don’t get what they’re looking for. Then a year later when it macerates it’s the best vanilla ever 😂

Hey Ayesha, Madeleine is also available in a 100 ml. I don't have a bottle, because although the scent is nice (kind of), it is also very heady and I just know that if I would full body wear this, it would make me nauseous and or give me a headache. The MM doesn't seem great either...
I ordered the new replica fragrance and got it about three to four days ago and I’m just now realizing they sent me beach walk. I’m pissed( but not) . I kept saying this don’t smell like what they’re describing lmbo… 🤦🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️ion just going to keep it. 🤷🏾♀️

They are def unique in their simplicity & I LOVE the simple heavy glass bottles but unfortunately they just don’t perform great.
