Minhyuk appeared on Show Champion & explained why he used "Heota". His old tutor said "Ho" (number) is "Heota" (other number), explaining to him imaginary numbers. Minhyuk thought it was cool & used that as his nickname. He later on used the chinese character for 빌허 (bilheo = 虛) 칠타 (chilta = 打) which translates to "imaginary attack"
Using the Chinese characters' meaning of "Imaginary attack", he gave Heota the meaning of "I will fill everyone's emptiness with my music"

He worked under the stage name Heota before f.e. with Kyung & Zico from Block B (Still, 여전히, both also on RUclips)

If it's a word it's not in my dictionary. And since I've never heard this name before I guess he only used it because it sounds unique. I don't think there's known meaning. But we don't know what he thought about when choosing this stage name. :)
