    First off great video, thank you for that (very time consuming). Would be great to run the same vid but at night and during the distance increments (50m/75m and 100m) change the zoom on each one up one click per 10 sec etc. Again very nice video well done!!

    Great comparison. It would have also been great if you had done the comparison at night when I assume most people will use these devices. I understand that daytime might show more nuances, but some of us want to know what is the cheapest unit we can buy that will still clearly show the dog at night. Very useful video - thanks!

      Nightscoping is much easier. Since the temperature difference is bigger.

      @@Hofstader007 Yes, so it would be useful to see the testing done at night when maybe the lower end units will perform 'better'.

      @@kiwicam6419 Ok, but you would still get the same image quality. Since the cheaper ones have a lower resolution on the IR chip. Only difference is maybe its easier to spot something.

      Thank you for the feedback. We're planning on doing these tests on longer distances, however, we're still looking for a suitable place.
