    This concerto is pure Handel at his best. It helps that it is played so well.

    Handel è inarrivabile!@ Il Concerto per Organo e Orchestra è stato inventato praticamente dal Caro Sassone in Inghilterra dove la sua abilità all' Organo era Sovrumana e Stupefacente 😊 🙏❤👑🎼🎹🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶

    Magnificient performance. Unfortunately the Organ sounds quite shrill. Or is it just my ears?

      I'm not so expert, but for me is due to the fact - I noticed - that Hurford used more "Salicionale" and "Reed" registers than other organ players (that normally rely on flute base sounds). More than this, if you pay attention you notice that he often added 15" registers (that add's odd harmonics to the main note).
      The combination of two creats always a more "plastic" sound, but this is why I like so much Hurford's performaces: they are "different" and have more "taste" than usual :)
