I’ve been using a mini binder as a planner for a few months now. We were in the process of leaving military life and moving about 1200 miles and a traditional planner just wasn’t cutting it for my brain. I make my own dividers with scrapbooking paper and the we r memory keepers tab punch. Then I just laminate.
Yes, you are correct. A hot car will erase your writing. This happened to me the first year I started to use frixion pens and of course, I freaked out. Popped my planner in the freezer overnight and the writing reappeared, but not as dark. As much as I loved those pens, I just couldn't take that risk anymore
They also now have these binders out in mint green for those that like that color. Saw it at Target last week. ☺️
I found it in a deep teal color (which I absolutely love!), and yes, I did buy it 😁

I just got back from my target and score!!!! I got the binder but also, matching page dividers, matching accordion file, and you got to love the matching stapler!!!!!! Thanks so much Charlotte for sharing!
Thanks for your video. I like the binder planner concept as I can’t find a planner that has long enough to do lists ( I love yours) AKA brain dump and enough note pages for each day. I will use heavier weight paper 32# and look for a fold over binder. It would be cute to laminate the tab divider pages with your Disney paper for a custom look. Love your voice also.
Already following on both! I love the idea of the section towards the back where you have different things printed out that aren't just calendars, lists, etc... I'm definitely going to start doing that. I've been saving things on my phone or computer, but then I forget about them. Great idea!
I love love love this binder but I have gone to all the targets near me and have been unlucky..I'm sad.. but I will keep my eyes open..love how you use a regular size binder to stay organized
I just started following you about a week ago. I just want to say you motivated me to get back organized and get back on my dept free journey. I was following Dave Ramsey and slacked off but now I am planning on getting out of dept and using my planner I recently purchased. This makes the process so much easier and watching your videos really really help me. I love your approach. My planner makes me happy too lol🌹

Sooo very very awesome, I really really NEED it for the new school year and it’s something that I can use! I can buy one for each of the three years and I’m all organized and it’s the perfect size for my school bag! If I do get this, OMW, no one will ever be able to say that I’m not organized and forgetful 😘☕️
The pen thing totally happened to my husband. He wrote all these projects and plans for our homestead. Left it in his truck and it erased. Then took notebook inside and a few days later it had come back but it wasn’t as dark as the original ink. Haha.
I’m in! I think this is the best way to create a planner. I’ve been looking to get my life together and start using a planner but it often got overwhelming with all the choices out there. But after your video, it’s so cool and easy to make one. Thanks for this!!!
I like this planner set up because it makes it possible to replace pages. My current bound planner, if I make a mistake I have to look at it for an entire month! Lol! I'm in 😉
Im in! This system looks dofferent than what ive tried and like it'd really help me out. With a super busy job and a wedding to plan on top of life in general, some organization would so help 😊

Love your videos! I found this same style in a gorgeous dark jewel tone at Target. I will use during winter. :) This pink is my favorite color though and would be perfect for spring and summer. :):)

Hi Charlotte!! I realize this was recorded in 2018 we are now in January of 2020. I have been looking for that pink binder for months and can you believe it... I finally found it at my Target 💃🏻💃🏻💃🏻the perfect time to start my planner 😀 I’ve tried Erin Condren and Kikik but just didn’t quite fell in love with the style. I’m so excited!!! ❤️ Thank for all the great ideas 👍🏻😊.
You should glue your disney paper to the divider then laminate it. You can you Vis-a-V markers to write on them as needed.

Since watching your first video containing this binder, I've searched the web high and low... also looking on the target website, but kept on getting redirected to their international site, which doesn't carry the binder. I never thought about using a binder for a planner. I like the idea that I can change it up. Usually I just pick up a calendar at the dollar store.

Let me just say you drew me into your channel because I too shop at Target for my planner stuff( I love the $1.00 section) I like how your planner is functional without all the glitzy stuff and this is what I need to start doing with my planner in the coming year. I'm in. I might try that habit tracker for my music practice, since I have several different types.
I laminate EVERYTHING haha!! Its an illness. I've been using Erin Condren and a random A5 size planner with other random ones in between, but def like the system you have going. Seems so much easier to print things that will fit and not have to adjust printing sizes and cut paper - if it's not perfectly even I have to reprint it. I never thought about using a regular binder for a planner.
