That sound reminded me of back in the day when we got into a section of steep ground with a little smaller trees and everyone decided it was time to lighten up so a bunch of guys left their 066’s at home and showed up with new 044’s. Would have been fine except they were all running the same ole 36” bars and chains with the rakers ground down optimized for the power of the 066! lol Don’t remember it hurting them any but the lower pitch was unmistakable. Gotta remember these were all soft wood species so if I remember right we ran them down something like .040-42 thousandths. Smoke reminded me of the older guys big block Stihls they still ran. Must be feeling nostalgic today! lol 👍🏼👍🏼
I had a 670. It was my first saw and it had a 24” bar. It wasn’t particularly powerful and definitely not fast. I would say it’s like a slant 6. Terribly reliable and heavy as can be. I think this thing weighs closer or a little more than a 460. I did love the auxiliary oiler though

I have a 680, ran awesome stock. Pulled a 28" no problem. Then I got it ported by Dyno Joe and now runs even better. Sweet saw, nice work!
I've always wanted one of these. They are a lot like the 800p. Just the mini version. Runs great!
I have 2 670s on my shelf i was just letting them sit! Didnt know they cud run like this. Great video

Looks like a great machine
Sweet running 670👍🏻 thanks Adam!
Nice saw! Good job! Hope you do a 680 some day.
Would love to see a comparison of all the “weird” sized saws. Like the Efco 65cc, this 670, a Dolmar 6800i. The not quite 70cc class saws lol
I never seen one of those nice to see it run.
What is different between the 670 and 680 on shelves now?
Can you link your tachometer? New to the channel, enjoying the content.
Looks solid, nice.
some of the new chainsaws of 2 day are a bit heavy from what the chainsaws of 30 years are the same CCS 😊😊 OMG 5 22 2O24
