I cannot tell you how important you both are to me. I'm alone. My daughter is 43 & currently living with me, but she works long hours & I rarely see her. There are no grandchildren. We are both widows. I've been with y'all since Adler was a baby & Chad was carrying him around feeding "all them chickens" & the beefy boys, & Fred & his gals, & watching the boys grow & y'all then starting your channel, & Kyle & Shanon, & Case, & Rae, & then finally Matt jumps ship & joins us all!! What a family!! Just precious - every single one of you, & Leanne & Ralph. Fred, Smokey, Robin, & Batman, to name a few have been loved & now are so missed. Grandpa, you made me cry. I know we, your extended family, are a bunch of precious people who think like y'all do & find you so real & genuine as you share your lives with us, your love & joy, your crazy humor, & your strong faith in our Lord Jesus!! Hi Ralph and Leanne,love following your lives. I’m 81 yrs. young and living alone since Year ago last April. I’ve never been lonely. My three adult children live 3, 5 hrs. Away and the third just moved to FL. I always feel there is a loving presence in this house. It’s almost tangible for me. My joy is Jesus! Merry Christmas to all of you. The baby Jesus came for all of us but each person has to accept Him in their hearts to be saved. Come baby Jesus to all of us again this year! Merry Christmas!!❤

Good Morning
Thank you Ralph and Leanne for todays video. I truly love watching your videos. I am heading into my second Christmas as a widow. Ron and I were married for almost 40 years. I am so Thankful for our 5 children and all our Grandchildren and Great grandchildren. Four of our children live in the same city and some just a few minutes away from me. On the hard days I call my children and they talk to me till I feel better. Christmas is my favorite time of year and Ron knew how much the season meant to me. He would sit back and let me do everything I wanted to do. Thanks for letting me say this. Bless all the Doss family. You all mean so much to me🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗💕💕💕💕💕💙💙💙💙💙🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Grandpa Doss, Please send a prayer or two my way, if you can. I sure can use it. You see, I lost both my parents in the past couple months, within 6 weeks of each other. On September 21 my daddy passed away after bravely fighting lung cancer for 18 months. Then in the early morning of November 3, my mom also went Home to be with the Lord. Mom fought bravely against renal failure for 2 months in the hospital, in and out of ICU, undergoing emergency dialysis three times a week. My parents divorced when I was 8 years old, but that doesn’t make the emptiness or hurt any less. I never dreamed I would lose both parents within 6 weeks of each other. This holiday season doesn’t even seem real. I feel as if I’m in a fog from which I cannot emerge. Yes, I have the memories of the good times, and I know I will be reunited with them once again, but that doesn’t ease the emptiness of today. So for now I take things one day at a time, praying that tomorrow will be better than today. God bless you and yours. Merry Christmas from Florida 💕🙏☀️🐶🎄🎅🏻🤶🏻⛪️

Really appreciate your video tonight I had a major heart attack 10 months ago it has been a struggle well last night found my 26 year old daughter laying on the bathroom floor having a seizure called 911 went to the ER couldn't find anything so was about to send us home well as she was putting on her shoes she had another so they kept her sent her up to progressive care she just got out tonight they got her on 500 mg in the morning and 500 mg at night of seizure medicine so she is like a zombie I'm having to take care of her now she turns 26 on Monday I'm 64 it so hard none of the family even came to the hospital I'm all alone I'm worried trying to trust in God so plz keep her in prayers I would truly appreciate

I understand many things well. Praying for you and your family. God blesses you and he blesses me. I’d be lying if I said I don’t ever struggle with life occurrences. I could write a true book about my life that most would believe had to be fiction. I could also write a book about the wonderful memories I possess of love and joy. I had kind, loving, God focused parents. I had a handsome son I was allowed to have for four short years. I had a kind and loving husband I was allowed to have for 41 years. I have a loving son who has blessed me with twin granddaughters. I have a loving daughter who has blessed me with two granddaughters. But as a favorite hymn states we’re “just passing through “. I try to focus on being content and happy. I’m in my 70’s now and my appreciation for the heavenly home Christ has prepared for his saints grows greater. I don’t do drama and try to have sympathy for those who want to bicker over small things. That’s a very condensed positive story. I choose not to write a version of the difficulties story. God’s plan is not always our plan but His is much bigger. God created us with emotions and he understands them. I would love to be able to sit with the two of you and talk for a few hours. It would be enjoyable. Best wishes.

We love y'all feeling so comfortable with us that you allow us to share your burden and lift y'all up in prayer! Healing prayers for Lee and his wife and other members of your family. As you say, at the age a lot of us here are, we have experienced loss and/or difficulties. As children of a Loving God we are called to help carry the burdens with our brothers and sisters. We may have experienced the same situations or completely different things, but the Bible says that He comforts us so that we can comfort others. Y'alls hearts are precious!! ❤ I feel soooo blessed to know that if not here, in Heaven, our true home we will rejoice and meet. Can't wait! Grandpa I lived in the swimming pool sunrise to sunset all my childhood. Don't let it go to your head, but you are "beautiful "❤😂.

My husband has dementia at 72, was been diagnosed in March of this year. His mother died with dementia and also his brother passed with dementia. It’s getting harder now because he is getting to not remember our grand kids. So please pray for us. Love your show, I don’t miss any of them❤🙏✨

Thank you 🙏🏻 Grandma & Grandpa Doss, I am one of those who were alone for Thanksgiving, my Beautiful Daughter went with her boyfriend (whose her future husband I pray 🙏🏻, cuz he is a Christian as is my daughter and I BELIEVE LITERALLY this was a match made in HEAVEN by OUR LORD for their celibacy and honoring God to wait❣️So I would NEVER be mad that she for the first time ever didn’t spend Thanksgiving with me, nor is she spending Christmas with me cuz they are going to Florida for Christmas, and she’s never gotten to go, so I’m happy for her, but sad that it wasn’t me who was able to take her a long time ago❣️And Grandma Doss, the LORD SOON WILL WIPE EVERY TEAR FROM OUR EYES, and there will be NO MORE PAIN (like me from MS), or SORROW, and the Lion will lie down with a Zebra and so on and so on, cuz he TRULY IS COMING VERY SOON AND PEACE WILL REIGN FOR 1,000 Years❣️And we WILL LIVE as Long as 🌳❣️My heart broke 💔 to see you cry over your Mom, and I related to that too, cuz I don’t have a relationship with my Mother, so I felt your pain deeply❣️And Thank you 🙏🏻 for Loving ♥️ us as we do y’all, and God bless 🤲🏻 you for praying 🙏🏻 for us as we do you also❣️Oh boy I hope this makes sense, cuz I have fallen asleep several times, and picked up where I left off for quite a while, just look at the time I finished this video, and then I immediately respond if I’m going too, and I am sure I’ve been at this over an hour for sure❣️I’m too tired to proof read❣️Lol 😁

Bless all the Doss family. Thank you for sharing the reality of life. I’d watch hours - so your videos are never too long! I’m turning 60 in March - with a big family of 5 kids and their spouses and 14 grand kids. There’s division and separation between some of us and long distances between each other. My heart hurts many days. So watching your entire family’s videos is a grounding in love and hope. ❤
Grandma and Grandpa Doss....we are just humans trying to get through this thing called life. You and your families videos have been a blessing to us all. I truly miss my parents and working on a farm with them. This time of the year is always the hardest it seems. We always had big family get togethers and it seems once the patriarch and matriarch pass away, the families stop having those great times. Grandma, I lost my great grandmother, grandmother and my mom to Alzheimer's. Its so not easy and I cried with you when grandpa was talking about it. Im so sorry that you had to go through what we call the "long goodbye". I chose to become a CNA because of Alzheimer's and I mostly worked in the lockdown units. I wanted to make a difference somehow. And I believe that I did in some small way. Even if it was just a hug or sitting with them and talking. I hope and pray that all of you guys are happy and healthy this Christmas season! Everyone, please remember the reason for the season 🙏....Merry Christmas to y'all!

I'm right there with you age wise (64) and this will be my second Christmas without my Mom. Last year was hard but this year seems even harder. A very emotional season. Such a moving loving video. My wife and I watch all the Doss family. I found Chad when he went to Tennessee and got Liski for Hidden Heights Farm. I have been with yall and Kyle and Shannon from the beginning. We are early 70's been together since 7th grade, married 52 of those years. You brought a tear to both of us. Cancer and Alzheimers hits hard. Years ago they used to call it "hardening of the arteries". Love ya'll

I do so enjoy watching your videos. I'm 68 years old and am in my first year of having chickens. I never dreamed I'd really have chickens and can't believe how much I love them!! I have learned so much watching you, and Chad too. Love all the Doss families, you are so good to your animals and are a great example for us all. My family all had Covid for Thanksgiving... literally every member of the family caught it within 24 hours. We have all recovered pretty much. I pray no more if your family has to experience that. I have a hard time this time of year like so many others. My husband passed on 10/24/2016. He passed on his birthday. You both share your hearts with us. I’m grateful I have all of the Doss family to watch. You both get us older folks. I find that very comforting. When your family suffers I pray for the. Today Kyle and Shannon had a loss. I just hope and pray that my own family members that can’t be with me during this season can genuinely feel happy and the spirit of the season, because it’s a truly difficult time of the year for so many of us. We lost a family member last Christmas Eve and we will never forget that special lady. She was a shining light in my husband’s life for so many years when he was young and I hope and pray he will remember just the good times this year and will be happy. Ralph, my husband is a big fisherman. After many years with trying to get him to use sunscreen and protect from the sun he had to go to a Dr. For a spot that worried him. He has had 2 areas cut out and comes home burned areas ever time. Now he finally wears the proper hat an shirt when he goes fishing! Never too old I guess. Take care! ❤
Ralph, that was an excellent Public Service Announcement about the perils of the sun. I’ve been lucky because I have had major burns and at 76, no problems yet. I see a dermatologist at least once a year for a skin checkup. Leann, I lost my husband 14 years ago, and I have just come out of a 14 year depression. I do not celebrate holidays but I wish you all Merry Christmas, Love and prayers from NC

I lost my hero, my dad, 2.24.23, Thanksgiving was rough, and I know Christmas will be as well. Dementia is rough. It's like he's been gone for five years. But physically gone is super tough. I ❤️ the Doss family. I posthumously live thru your family's videos. My parents and all relatives are gone. Luckily I have a husband & 3 sons. Two are many states away. I'm blessed to have a 24 yo that takes good care of us. (I wish he didn't need to carry such a burden) I'm surviving cancer and both my husband and I have spinal/mobility issues and we both have parkinsons. I know I've said a mouthful for a comment. It goes out to your family. It's nice to smile, laugh, or cry with you. We are all human. We are God's children. God Bless🩷

Great advice Ralph!! I too grew up outside with no protection and have finally learned to wear sunscreen on my face, I’m not real regular with it though!! My dad had a spot taken from his nose, years ago. He embarrassed my daughter horribly the day after he had it done and came up for a visit. 😂😂
Lola is so fluffy with her hair!! The piggies have lost weight, I think they will be fine with the extra alfalfa and Timothy grass.

I understand about things happening, for the second year I won’t be able to go home to Oregon to spend Christmas with my family. I lost my grandma King a week before Christmas, my grandpa reverted to being a two year old, accused everyone of stealing things. It was hard on everyone. Love and hugs 🥰

Sending prayers and love to the entire family and everything is going well in his best as it can be. I’m still dealing with my problem I don’t know if I had mentioned my grandson was in the hospital, he’s 19 years old and he had a childhood problem growing up and now it’s come to haunt him later in his life they’ve sent him home from the hospital on hospice care so it’s just him when his little body gives up. but I’m not here to do. I want my problems. I’m here to enjoy wonderful video and watch my friends and their every day activities. Love you guys very much.❤❤❤❤❤

My husband and I had Covid on Thanksgiving and it was going to be my first one without my dad. Now facing Christmas and my kids want to do their own thing with their kids. None of them think about me and how I’m feeling so I’m feeling some depression right now. I’ll get through it because I have no choice. I could use pray that God will heal my relationship with my first born daughter and my last born. They hold unforgiveness toward mistakes I made when they were young. Mistakes they are now making with their children. I want to reach out to them and talk to the, about only remember the good memories and leave the bad ones in the past. Pray I will have the right words for them.
71 years old here, I lost my husband of 48 years this past March, thank you for sharing,, this Christmas will be difficult. I will pray for you and yours as well.

Ralph , I, too, grew up just like you. Barefoot and cut offs and swimming, bike riding, and no sunscreen. My dad had skin cancer on his face, and I know I need to get my hind end to a dermatologist soon. That was how it was back in the good Ole days.

Ralph and LeaAnn, From the bottom to the top of my heart, I truly care for you both and love you both. You are 2 of the most wonderful people I've ever come across in my 60 years, although I can honestly say I've had many very good friends throughout my life but you both are truly special. I've been with you all since the very first video but I started with nearly the beginning of when Chad started making videos! I've been watching Kyle and Shanon since day 1 and I catch most of the other family members when I can. I mentioned it a few videos ago that I'm blocked on Chad's channel for no reason and he still hasn't fixed it and I don't know why. I am not aware of anything that I did or said that warranted Chad doing that but I do believe it was done on accident. I am one of the people that was alone on Thanksgiving because my daughter in law caught Covid and we had to cancel Thanksgiving but my son drove over 40 minutes to bring me Turkey dinner that same evening and it just warmed my heart. I live alone and am alone every single day but it's okay for the most part but of course anyone who lives alone can tell you it gets very lonely at times. I don't have any family nearby either but I have my 3 babies (Lily, my new Doberman, Mia and Tia, sister Chihuahuas that were born right here in my home 13 years ago July 30th.. and they are my sweethearts) and they are wonderful! I am a huge animal lover, been that way my entire life. I take after my dad who passed away at the age of 82 on April 18, 2018 and I miss him but he lived 2200 miles away, so I've missed him long before he passed but I could always pick up the phone and call him before he passed.
LeaAnn, it really hit my heart to hear about the loss of your mom, not once but twice and I shared tears with you sweetheart, that's really hard. I used to take care of Alzheimers patients when I was still in Nursing and it's heartbreaking. I'm sorry that you went through that sweetheart, I truly am 😢. The rock and talk on this video was especially raw and I'm glad you shared with us, so thank you.
I apologize that I haven't given you both an update on my granddaughter, Autumn but it was because I simply didn't have an update, however, my son and daughter in law just got back from another State near us from an appointment that they had for my granddaughter, Autumn about her seizures but I haven't talked to them just yet. When I do, I'll get back to you on the update if they have one yet. This past 2+ months have gone by so quickly (like time does as we are older) since Lily (my 1.5 yr old Doberman) came to live with me and it's been trying at times with the littles getting used to her but just wonderful and I'm so in love with her!! She's an absolutely fantastic dog and soon she'll be going in for surgery to get spayed and although I'm not looking forward to it cuz, well you've been through it recently with Rylie and Revel and it's no fun but it's great after they heal and all!! Please say a prayer that it goes well and that she cooperates with me on keeping her from jumping or running for 2 weeks, thank you. Okay, this comment has gotten very very long and time for me to get to bed cuz Lily wakes me up very early to go out (too early for this old lady but we've made a compromise and mommy and the girls go back to sleep for a couple more hours so that I'm not tired all day!

I was in many respects lucky, my dad passed away when I reached 58, sadly that happened the day before my birthday. I have friends and associates that lost parents between teens and mid twenties, a serious life affecting loss.
Followed by my mother passing 3 years later, somewhat broken with loss of dad, they were married 66 years when dad departed. Mum was forced by doctors into "dementure" aged care, and stressed out isolated from home where she wanted to remain. Gave up on life, and ineffect refused eating enough, to fade away, though I and sister were daily visiting, mostly even both together.
I sadly lost my sister to heart failure only 4 years later and now live alone at 73 yr age, only remaining family member in Australia, all relatives in Europe.
Covid somewhat destroyed joy of life, with gov lockdowns. While remaining unaffected in health, the lockdowns have considerably destroyed state of health, fitness and enthusiasm.
I thank channels like the Doss group and many others on RUclips for some daily dose of reality and joy. Thank you.....

Very beautiful job Grandma Leighanne on the tree. Ralph, I know what you are talking about. I will be 60 this month on the 28th. I have lost my mother, father, and middle brother of 5 of us. The last two brothers were twins, I am the only girl and the oldest of all of us. I used to cry a lot after losing my great mother, she was the best mother any child could ask for and all 5 of us gave her a run for her money growing up. She was a single mother who was a special education teacher. She loved her job working with the mentally handicapped every day. They offered her the head teacher position several times, but she would turn it down as she enjoyed working in the classroom and her summers off. She taught for over 35 years. I know where she is, and I have no worries about that. She brought us up in the Southern Baptist church in which I do not recognize anymore. Some of the things going on now with our school system would sicken her. A good teacher and mother. My father left after 15 years of marriage due to cheating on her. She tried to make it work because that is how my grandpa and grandma raised her to be. Even the 60s and 70s when I grew up as a child has changed. We used to go outside and play and sadly you do not see that anymore. Anyways just wanted to wish you and your family a merry Christ-mas and a happy new year. Love you guys very much, you are good people. Not many good people are left in this world today, which is sad. Although I was told about the end times and see it more and more every day. I am so glad I know Jesus. Anyway, love you guys!! Stay safe and healthy.

So many lose loved ones this time of the year. It's the Winter of our lives. My husband passed away December 19, 2016. Life goes on for me because I know that my husband is in Heaven. Prayers for all the hurting people.

Pretty soon Happy Birthday Jesus. I have a rough time since 2009 at CHRISTmas. My wife of 28 years ( age 51) got healed by going with Jesus to Heaven. She had been a diabetic since age 12 1/2 in 1970. So besides celebrating CHRISTmas I also celebrate the passing of my wife.

My mother-in-law Rose passed this last week, 99. The grandkids are having a hard time with the loss because they live out of town. Thankfully she went quickly and didn’t suffer. Please keep my kids in your prayers. Love all your channels.
Lost my mom 32 yrs ago & dad passed away in May. Mom in law passed in July. And I have bladder cancer and is getting aggressive. But I have a blessed life!

My Mom died when I was 29 I had 2 small boys. My family kinda shifted when My Dad remarried and moved away. So it was the 4 of us for a long time. My Dad passed Dec 18 2020 at 93 the day before my birthday. My husband is scheduled for open heart surgery on Dec 21st. When we share our lives with each other we realize we arent alone.Thanks to the Doss family and each of the followers for sharing your stories..God Bless each of you

My dad died Christmas Eve morning, his sister died the day after Christmas same year in 1971. I am now 65 years old. Totally understand the heart ache.
