There’s a theory that says according to the deal, Lucifer couldn’t attack Adam “unprompted” he allowed the extermination as long as he and his family were safe. When Adam tried for Charlie’s life, he violated the agreement thus allowing Lucifer to enter the battle. In this world, binding can sometimes be literal so it’s possible he was magically restricted from entering until the agreement was nullified.
@@trolleyfanYou think Lucifer might go after Katie Killjoy at some point, considering how she not only INSULTED Charlie (multiple times) but also attacked her?
According to Lute in episode 1, it was for all hellborn. So it could even have been for the Egg Boiz and Dazzle (unless they only count as constructs).
It is nice to see that Adam did seem to genuinely care about Lute, his last moments giving her a genuine smile. It’s shades of gray, as Charlie and Emily said.
I always *want* characters to have a nice arc rounding them out and Adam spending his last seconds of afterlife appreciating Lute caring (unless he gets reincarnated into a Sinner now, but ykwim) does that for us, i think. I don't put it past him to have the selfish "ah, someone cared, good," but I also want him to have an inkling of redeemability in his character in just genuinely caring about Lute idk, he's probably just as asshole, but it'd be nice for him to have a softer, caring side to him
@@NevaehEvol On a related note, remember when I said, "I still can't decide whether I dislike [Adam] or Lute more, maybe Lute for ep8-related reasons"? I follow up on that in my 1st ep8 comment. I hope you like it.
@NevaehEvol I believe its more of the fact the SOMEONE cared. Both first wives we literally made for HIM and both ended up leaving him. Lute wasnt made for him yet stayed with him until the very end. He doasnt put her down except when stating the obvious (the shield) but genuinely listened when she talked to him. So yes, he is a dick and severally messed up. But he did care about SOMETHING other than himself
I just realized… they have never made any like… underworld type ponies have they? No flame or bone or… huh… i guess they thought it would overlap too much with other groups maybe? Could be neat to see them come in as a group that is feared by others due to their nature, but are actually nice, then have some “enthralling perfection” species (kelponys?) that are in reality horrible monsters…
My thoughts on Cherry are that she's not malicious in trying to encourage Angel/Anthony to slip into old habits but trying to help him the only way she's ever really known how to. That said, it isn't a defense of her not listening to him. She isn't trying to adapt to his change and is set in an old mindset. I didn't find myself disliking her from that failing on her part, but I was disappointed because she made herself into the type of friend that a lot of people in rehab/recovery are forced to cut off. I think between Angel, Charlie, and Sir Pentious's sacrifice she probably will be joining the hotel, and I hope she takes to it well. I suspect she'll struggle a fair bit though, and we'll see a role reversal of Angel having to help her through difficult times. I look forward to it if that is how it plays out.
yesss, exactly. She is the kind of friend that a recovering addict would have to cut off, thank you for putting it into those words! I do want her to stick around and redeem herself tho! all things considered, she is an objectively fun character; I just worry about her causing Anthony to relapse
@@NevaehEvol I'm more worried that, with the Vees intended to be a bigger focus/threat next season it will end up being Val's BS that could derail Angel, but I also think if it happens Cherry will 100% jump off the bandwagon with him and support that bad behavior rather than trying stop the spiral like we know Husk or Charlie will. I think, while with her it's less obvious, Cherry is dealing with some heaviness of her own and probably isn't really in a better place mentally than Angel. We just haven't seen her mask slip off yet.
I agree if the Vee's will be the main villain focus in S2 im sure itll be Val that will cuase Anthony to relalpse, and hopefully that's when Cherry does use hotel mindset to help him out of it(I'm sure it'll be afew eps till she turns around in a way so she will redeem herself probably hide her feelings for snake boi) also losing the crews little brother will definitely rock the ship abit especially since ok they probably heard him say "it's ssssssooo nice to have friends" and yeah basically was the little brother or the puppy of the groups that gets kicked by Adam @NevaehEvol
@@NevaehEvol "More than anything" Lover Couple duet was breaking my heart. Razzle and Dazzle are like Keyky they are toys Lucifer bring to life. Lucifer Morningstar has show up after Dazzle's death becouse he is Hellborn.
In the final "happy day in hell" 40:10 Chorus everyone except Alastor has their arms open in an accepting gesture. Where as Alastor keeps his hands guarded behind his back.
Because that’s his character/in his personality, like a soldier and being formal? He already had his hands open when he came and met them again, so I don’t see your point.
@@peko5282 It's like everyone has their hands open in a gesture of trust in Charlie's dream(The hotel). But after almost dying Alastor has chosen to keep his hands hidden. He no longer plans to put his life on the line for the hotel.
So when Lucifer talks about Adam's second wife (aka Eve) he _could_ be talking about the whole apple thing, just doing it in a way that would piss adam off more, but can you imagine the fucking power move it would have been if Lilith and Lucifer had seduced Eve together?
It would explain why Adam seems to have such an inferiority complex and is superficial. The fact he smiled at Lute when he died as she cried for him almost makes it seem like he realized there was someone who did outright care for and respect him.
If the latter did happen, I wonder if that means the only reason humans in their world have ANY morality left is because some descended from Lulu instead of Adam
According to original versions he stole his first wife Lilith and married her before their wedding, making her the queen of hell, mother of dæmons. And seduced the second wife Eve into being the first mortal case of adultery, thus eve *should also be in hell based on the early books, if you are ignoring the whole J man deal. So yup, he got double cucked hahaha
I'm actually inclined to believe Lucifer might have seduced (possibly unintentionally) Eve, and that's why Lilith left him and made a deal with Adam. We have yet to see or hear about Eve in this lore. Is she in heaven or hell? She's clearly not with ether Adam or Lucifer, so where is she? ......Did Eve make a deal with Alastor?
Imagine if they didn’t have Alastor they’d have no husk or nifty either vox would’ve left the hotel alone angel wouldn’t of become more comfortable being himself and sir pentious wouldn’t of become part of the hotel either therefore he wouldn’t of died basically without Alastor alot of important information and moments wouldn’t of happened which would of led to the extermination being alot more successful for Adam and lucifer might not of felt as strongly about helping Charlie because Alastor sort of made him want to try and be a better dad and lucifer probably would’ve still showed up and saved the hotel anyway but it would’ve been so much worse without Alastors assistance throughout the show
I love how Velvette was talking so much shit at the Overlord meeting about how the Vees were making big plans to fight back against Heaven now that they know angels can be killed, but now that Extermination Day is here they're just hiding out in their HQ and watching. Sir Pentious is now Sir Repentious. Apparently whoever or whatever is responsible for accepting souls into Heaven has a sense of humor, dropping him right in front of Sera. (Also, that's true about snakes. It's called a hemipenis.)
The Vees never found out HOW to kill angels. I thought it was a really nice way of highlighting their conflict with the "old guard" overlords. The Vees came in dismiessive and irreverent and got stonewalled, so they couldn't carry out their plan to fight back. Vaggie came with just enough aggression to show she had a spine, but also respecting Carmilla enough to convince her instead of just pushing her, so she got the vital information. This also means the Vees will have a harder time securing dominance in hell since they aren't the heroes of the hour.
Velvette came out of the whole thing smelling of roses, Carmilla made herself look like a chump. Leading the assault on heaven is unlikely to have been the Vees plan anyway, they were likely planning to sit back and watch other Overlords get picked off and fill the vacuum. If Carmilla told Velvette(and the Vees by proxy) that they would not just be the tactical grandmasters, but lead from the front, they likely would have backed down. Instead of pushing that point against Velvette at the meeting, Carmilla folded like a house of cards.
Velvet asked for the overlords to help for this plan but they refused so she probably didn’t bother or her original plan was that the other overlords would get killed in fighting the angels making the Vee’s on top
Speaking of velvette has anyone else noticed that velvet is the only character with no dialogue throughout the entire episode except for maybe her laugh during the song
6:30 someone pointed it out but during this scene, you can see sir pentious sort of turn his head to cherry bomb, with charlie seeming ecstatic a second after. It's likely that sir pentious told Charlie his feelings, which is why when she sees them interact, she's excited for them.
The Lilith twist at the end was so unexpected. Charlie always had her mother in the back of her mind with every step , trying to make her proud while being positive , even in the pilot when she desperately needed her help but didn't even pick up her call. Charlie tought it's because she is busy but she was just chilling in Heaven, that's evil.
Theory is, the deal Lilith made was to stay in heaven with Adam if he agreed not to exterminate any of the hell born population, including her daughter.
@@Outrider85 that was Lucifer , even in the first episode in the meeting Lute tells Charlie that her father did that. This is also backed up by the fact that the second Charlie got hurt he himself intervened. (Because they broke the rule)
@@Outrider85 That's unlikely. The Hellborn being spared from the extermination was decided in the very first meeting, and the extermination is way older than Lilith's disappearance. Lucifer wouldn't have agreed in the first place if it threatened his daughter anyway and they can't really send an angel army if Lucifer is gonna intervene (and presumably all the forces in hell), that would be all out war between hell and heaven which is exactly what Sera was trying to avoid, and not provoke so they had to accept Lucifer's terms. Whatever Lilith's deal is, it happened long after they decided to spare the hellborns.
One of my personal theories and headcanons is that before the series begun, Alastor was begin to get pushed out, the newer players were getting stronger, so he made a deal with Lillith for more power, but at great cost. Therefore, Adam beating him rocked his worldview again and made him reconsider his deal.
@@KKarkatVantasyou're saying that as if it is a fact and it's not. We dont even know if Roo is even an official character. None of what you said is canon so dont speak as if it is. It's a theory. Just like theirs. From what context we get throughout the season it is VERY likely that Alastor did make a deal with lilith but it's just a theory. Roo is also a theory but weve got no type of confirmation on her either.
@@RoxxyFlyRight exactly, we don't know if Roo is going to be a thing in this, or be canon at all. I don't personally believe that Alastor made a deal for power either way. If anything, I think if Roo DOES exist in this universe that he draws his power from and operates under her. I think a deal maker as smart and as narcissistic as Alastor would only let himself be bound under extreme circumstances. I think he made a deal with Lilith in a life or death situation - she saved him from being wiped out in exchange for him protecting Charlie and the hotel, basically. I think it also prevents him from running his broadcast the way he used to (Mimzy mentioned he hasn't done any of that in a while and he's been doing a lot of posturing rather than preying on overlords the way he used to) which would severely LIMIT his power. He wants out so he can be on top again, and take it even further. But all these restrictions on his movement and power have his wings clipped. That's how I see it, personally. I think there's a good shot Roo WILL be a thing eventually, but regardless, I don't think the deal was an exchange for power. Doesn't seem like an Alastor move if I have him pegged right.
@@SaiyanSerenityV i agree! I wpuld also like to add how someone who was once so ruthless wouldnt deny a deal to be made like he had when rosie brought up a deal that cpuld be made. I agree that if the deal was made with lilith, which tbh i think is a red herring with all the very obvious connections, itd be some sort of "pardon" i guess like protection or something vecause how do you go from being the most powerful mortal soul, according to pretty much everyone, to disappearing for 7 years and no one knowijg anything about what happened or what went down for that to happen. I think once we see what happend back then we may have a clearer understanding of the situation. But until then im gonna say Roo may pop up later but she doesnt even have an updated sketch or even any other sketches except for the one weve all seen. Idk we have so much but also wayyy too little and honestly its perfect that way 🤣 i will also add that Alastors reaction to lucifer was very interesting solidifying the lillith theory for me 😅
Gotta love how Anthony was seemingly the second most torn up about Sir Pentius dying when he was the one most in favor of just killing him in episode 2 Also Lucifer: "Now take your little friends... AND GO HOME!!!" Low key? Same Energy: Asmodeus: "Aww, ain't that such a happy display? It sickens me~ ... GET THE FUCK OUT!!" 😂😂😂
“They killed Dazzle” Who is Hellborn. Who the extermination is not supposed to touch. Who was tied up as a “sacrificial lamb” in Hell’s Greatest Dad. And what happens pretty immediately after that happens (breaking Heaven and Lucifer’s pact to allow the Extermination)? Lucifer intervenes.
One little detail from the final song that I liked was that Husk was in a really good mood, full of smiles, right until Alastor popped in. He thought Alastor was dead so he was freed from his deal, only to have that hope crushed.
I don't recall if it was in a video, on stream, or in my server, but I brought up how many sins he seems to check off and how ironic it was; however, I didn't think about him displaying those sinful traits as perhaps being a contributing factor to them existing in hell! (also, I love SaberSpark!)
Loved that Adam smiles when he saw Lute before he dies... It like hes happy theres someone beside him before he dies... Both of his wives left him but theres someone beside him one last time.
My theory is that Lucifer was watching the battle the entire time in case Charlie needed him but wasn't going to interfere unless necessary because he wanted to let her accomplish this on her own. It seems like something he would do, and it would be great parenting. However depressed he is, you can tell he really loves and cares for Charlie.
I think it's more about the agreement he made with Heaven. He probably had to barter that he wouldn't interfere with the Exterminations in exchange for the amnesty Hellborn get. Once Adam struck Charlie (who hadn't taken a hit yet do to her defensive fighting style), the deal was broken and he could step in at that point.
@@MagileineTopDeckToFullFieldSome people theorize that when Adam threatens Charlie with death (genuinly) the glitching of his mask marks the moment said agreement became void. Would be nice if that was the case but until comfirmed, just a theory like many others. Also, it's says alot of heavens arrogance that the agreement said that no harm shall befall hellborn, yet for said hellborns to fight, hurt and kill angels was no deal breaker. Like Carmilla said, when people think they're invincible...
@@Azreal20 tbh its a good theory since lute killed dazzle who's also hellborne and her mask glitches when it was knocked off, maybe the deal was that the leaders of the excorcists couldn't give the order or actually harm a hellborne since we saw lute get pissed at vaggie for not killing a cannibal child which was probably hellborne and u have that angel going after carmines daughters who are also probably hellborne so maybe the actual excorcists can kill hellborne if they aren't told they can't or can but the leaders themselves are bound by the deal, it'd also be a difficult loophole to get around cuz Adam/lute can't just say kill anyone u want cuz that'd be an order to go after hellborne so it'd have to just be free will from the excorcists of who they kill
I don't know if you've noticed but in fact Adam and Sir Pentious were both voiced by Alex Brightman and both died in the same episode and i wonder why adams mask was buffering at 28:05 them there is a theory that adam will come back as a sinner (which I don't think so since he was killed with Engel's weapons, that means he should be completely dead) Or about the thing with the mask, it could be that it was still just a hologram or (we don't know what he can do with his power) that it was a doppelganger that he created because he probably wasn't that stupid when we look at it Another theory comes across that he has a deal with Lucifer in that Lucifer won't take part in the extermination as long as his family is safe. On the other hand, Adam most likely only did the extermination because he wanted to repay Lucifer for taking his wives .at the moment with the smile before his death I actually found the detail sad because Lute was the only woman who didn't leave Adam until his death. Furthermore, there is another theory because of Alastor's floorboard and that his side of the floorboard was open Watch out for Charlie (I didn't find any information about the other person who could be Lilith) Thats anything i know/think ❤i like your reactions:,) maybe you would do another video where you could speak about all the episodes and about some theorys:,) byeee❤ And i noticed the hearth pin changed idk if it did or not 😂❤
in agreement on Cherri.. she strikes me as the exaggerated example of Good friend, but bad influence, once Angel/Anthony made it VERY clear he was trying to be better, she did seem to back off on the pushing, so strikes me as more of she was stubborn/old habit reliant.
Finally, someone notices Dazzle's memorial statue. I'd say that little demon was the one who made the ultimate sacrifice, since Pentious went to Heaven, but no one realizes it yet. I hope some time is given next season for Razzle and Charlie to grieve the loss. Raz and Daz were brothers, created at the same time, and given to Charlie as her companions. They've had more than a century together.
Razzle and Dazzle Turning into dragons was my favorite part of this episode. And it would've been perfect if, after Pentious' after-scene, they had put in an after-scene of Adam arriving in Hell as a new demon with no power. But I suppose one could make the argument that, since Pentious wasn't killed by an angelic WEAPON, his soul wouldn't have been destroyed. I also thought the final song with everybody happily working together was way too Broadway Musical for my taste, with hardly any of the edgy, savage humor the show usually displays.
During the last song ( the part with the vees ) we see a photograph of Alastor but it's ripped in half, you can still see parts of Vox's screen and shoulder beside him tho. So they are implying that they used to be friends . Viv confirmed that the Vees will be the villains of season 2 and we will learn much more about them especially Vox and his relationship with Alastor.
There's a chance that Nifty was an Overlord too. First, we saw Nifty and Husk beside Alastor during the Pilot's Overlord sequence. Since they're darken out, it could represent how they used to be overlords, but now serve Alistair. and after seeing how crazy and insane she is, she might also be crazy for power.
I don't really see how Nifty could have been an overlord. You don't just need to be dangerous to be an Overlord, you basically need to be a mob boss and a schemer. Nifty doesn't even realise that she leaves the hotel half of the time, she has a hard time understanding simple instructions contextually (like "go stab an angel"). She could be more powerful than she looks, but I don't think she could be an overlord because overlords aren't simply powerful demons, they're specifically an organised type of demon who deal a lot in social interactions. Nifty is not a schemer.
About alastor maybe feeling empathy...while i don't think he cares about them in any meaningful way, i also dont think he has any distain for them either. Keep in mind that both of alastors deals we've seen him make in the show had little to no consequence, even if we're all suspicious of that favor he wants from charlie As the audience, WE know not to trust him. However, like he said in episode 5, he's been true to his word in almost every occasion, except for the situation with the egg minions, but even THEN, he came home with some good information. Besides the stories, the only people who dont trust him are husk, lucifer and vaggie, but 2/3 of them got a little softer with him as the show went on (before alastor pushed his buttons in the hallway, husk was being rather respectful. And when Alastor came back, vaggie was part of the happy group hug.) All of this to say, I think he's moreso "fine" with the group. They aren't annoying him but he's not gonna stick his neck out just for them (we saw that in the fight).
"New Zealand?!" outta nowhere. Great work reacting to the season, it was a joy to watch along and catch your enthusiasm for the animation and characters. I was pondering what else might strike your fancy, and there're two short series that come to mind - "Call of the Night," a supernatural show about nightlife with a lo-fi vibe; and "Lycoris Recoil," an admittedly different kind of series about an action duo surrounded by unique fun characters and grey morality.
I saw someone in the comments describe Adam popping up in front of Charlie going “Surprise!” as a ‘white man jumpscare’ and I *have not* stopped chortling at it since. Fucking LOVE the 1-2 punch of the Pentious/Lilith reveal, it slaps so hard every single time.
35:08 there's also theories that it's a character not yet introduced but is lingering around. Roo (aka the Root of all Evil) whom Viv mentioned is going to be the upcoming villain of the show. From Viv's statement, Roo is the overarching bigger bad of the show (possibly even more dangerous than the exorcist angels themselves).
Honestly this episode did a really good job at showing just how much of a threat Adam is. Sure his fighting style is sloppy and undisciplined but he has so much goddamn power he doesn't NEED discipline, he can just brute force his way through anything. 24:19 Ok, so this moment...I feel this moment was mishandled but mostly because of the show's overall pacing issues. You barely have time to absorb the fact that he died before something else is already happening. I feel like this episode should have been longer and his death should have been extended a bit to give it a way bigger impact 40:18 Val and Vox making out...Gross but not in a "eww they're gay, gross" kind of way
I agree w Adam being able to display how much of a threat he is! also YEAH his death didn't even feel real because it just was blown through so quickly. Even Demon Slayer has better fake out deaths than that. As for Vox and Val snoshing, I completely understand why that level of PDA might make someone uncomfy
I think the way his death was handled was fitting for his character. Every time Pentious has used his war machine, he is defeated immediately as a joke. His final defeat continued that established pattern. He got the last laugh anyway, becoming one of the most important characters in the setting by being the first redeemed sinner.
@@AndrewSmith-nj8zh Being defeated immediately is not the same as being defeated in a flash. Look at when Alastor fought him on episode 2. We saw the ship crumbling, we saw him falling out of the ship, we saw the terrified look on the Egg Boi's faces. Here? Here we got nothing.
neat little thing ive heard from others is that they see a sort of Varsity jacket design in adams battle outfit. Kinda like the one musician everyone knows who peaked in high school and clings to every shred of it as they are left behind
I'm honestly convinced that Alastor will probably be the final villain of the series, but end up being redeemed through Charlie. Somehow, he's gonna get free of his "deal" and when he does, he'll turn on the person he made it with. If that's Lilith like everyone thinks it is, that'd make for a good catalyst for him and Charlie to come to blows, but I don't see Charlie giving up on Alastor easily. Regardless of his motives, Charlie won't let it end with one of them killing the other.
38:03 you can see Vox next to Alastor in the ripped up picture, also the fact that ALASTORS IN A PHOTO makes it all the for shocking that they’re enemies now Edit: also you KNOW that Lucifer is gonna mock Alastor for losing to Adam when he was absolutely toying with him 2nd edit: also rolled up sleeve Lucifer and Vox has me feeling things lol

4:15 Sir Pentious is not a common angel. He went straight to the HQ. He's a fcking seraphim now! Sera's face is priceless btw. Emily is so happy on the other hand. P.S. probably we are gonna have Adam in hell but does somebody really care? He's gonna be powerless anyway.
Fun fact if you look In The background before sir pentious messes up his confession you'll see vaggie and Charlie being wingwomen for him. Discussing about how he should approach things, and stuff, and then as you called out, Charlie in the background being excited to see sir pentious confessing to her
I. absolutely. LOVE that Lucifer started singing Charlie's song to her; it's a perfect symbol of how far he's come, his hope restored because of his daughter. And then the rest of her loved ones joining in, oh god that was amazing; it's not just she that can do this, it's her friends helping her now.
If you rewatch Vox throwing the knife at the photo of Alastor at the end, you can see that the photo has Vox on the edge of the frame, implying they were once friends or more
@@KKarkatVantas IF root is even still a character. i still think there is something weird going on between lillith and eve and alastor is caught up somewhere in there

In the days of the pilot, Vagatha was indeed Vaggie's full name. Like whenever they make nods to old continuities. On a related note, the outfit that Susan wears is the same one that Al put Vaggie in during his song in the pilot
Fun Fact: During the fighting bit at 17:23 - 17:47, you can actually make out the leitmotifs of the characters as they appear if you listen to the music Angel Dust - 17:25 Spider Polka Pop/Spider Provider Cherri Bomb - 17:34 One Little Brawl Sir Pentious - 17:36 50 Shades of Egg Husk - 17:41 This Little Darling is Husk Niffty - 17:45 This Little Darling is Niffty
Yeah, Keith David wasn't who I'd have thought to cast as Husker, but hot damn does he fit. He's got one of those voices that just immediately improves whatever he's in. Also, Sir Pentious turns the biggest L into the biggest W. Dude earned that, and my prediction is that his redemption will lead directly to Emily falling. Well, not so much a "fall" as "jumping down to hell while flipping off Sera" or something to that effect. Because *you know* Sera is going to shit bricks and try to hide that Charlie was right. Emily is too much of a sweetheart to put up with that.
also the look On Vals face realising just how easy Nifty Snuck up on him to steal floof I can almost see it in my head. Val : I Have your soul Contract Angel Babby. Angel: (lifts Nifty) I have a Nifty. Val: Girlish scream!
In this episode Adam (Alex Brightman) kills Pentious (Alex Brightman). We see that Adam looks like Alex Brightman before he's killed. Alex died twice in this episode, and the first time was from himself
And if they pull a Beetlejuice (Alex Brightman), Adam (Alex Brightman) will return as a sinner. There is the Hellverse non-spoken rule that there must be at least one Alex Brightman in Heaven and one in Hell
ah man, that is a spell away, but I can't say I'm shocked they need so much time! with how pretty the animation is, I'd rather they take their time than rush

It’s shades of gray, as Charlie and Emily said.
I saw something that said it was less about him caring about her, and moreso just being happy that someone is sad about him dying.
@@patchwilliamson That makes more sense to me, given what we know about Adam.
I always *want* characters to have a nice arc rounding them out and Adam spending his last seconds of afterlife appreciating Lute caring (unless he gets reincarnated into a Sinner now, but ykwim) does that for us, i think. I don't put it past him to have the selfish "ah, someone cared, good," but I also want him to have an inkling of redeemability in his character in just genuinely caring about Lute
idk, he's probably just as asshole, but it'd be nice for him to have a softer, caring side to him

@NevaehEvol I believe its more of the fact the SOMEONE cared. Both first wives we literally made for HIM and both ended up leaving him. Lute wasnt made for him yet stayed with him until the very end.
"You know me b***** I'm doing just fine." Yeah I bet even newcomers hearing that will be raising eyebrows. 🤔
I agree if the Vee's will be the main villain focus in S2 im sure itll be Val that will cuase Anthony to relalpse, and hopefully that's when Cherry does use hotel mindset to help him out of it(I'm sure it'll be afew eps till she turns around in a way so she will redeem herself probably hide her feelings for snake boi) also losing the crews little brother will definitely rock the ship abit especially since ok they probably heard him say "it's ssssssooo nice to have friends" and yeah basically was the little brother or the puppy of the groups that gets kicked by Adam

Lover Couple duet was breaking my heart.
(It was her first act if free will to choose him too)
I'm actually inclined to believe Lucifer might have seduced (possibly unintentionally) Eve, and that's why Lilith left him and made a deal with Adam. We have yet to see or hear about Eve in this lore. Is she in heaven or hell? She's clearly not with ether Adam or Lucifer, so where is she? ......Did Eve make a deal with Alastor?
I wonder how Alastor feels about Adam actually taking Pentious as a bigger threat than he was and _immediately_ going for a kill shot
I don’t know that Adam thought of Pentious as a threat. More of, “screw it, I’m not wasting my time on him”

Speaking of velvette has anyone else noticed that velvet is the only character with no dialogue throughout the entire episode except for maybe her laugh during the song
yea it is kinda odd he wasn't dropped at the gates but the dramatic effect was nice lol

(Because they broke the rule)
truly wicked of her :(
@@Outrider85 That's unlikely.

@@NevaehEvol we all weep for sir snek and his eggies
One of my personal theories and headcanons is that before the series begun, Alastor was begin to get pushed out, the newer players were getting stronger, so he made a deal with Lillith for more power, but at great cost. Therefore, Adam beating him rocked his worldview again and made him reconsider his deal.
more power in exchange for not hurting her daughter, perhaps?
Alastor doesnt have a deal with Lilith, his deal is with Root of All Evil (which is maybe Eve or posessing Eve)

One little detail from the final song that I liked was that Husk was in a really good mood, full of smiles, right until Alastor popped in.
He thought Alastor was dead so he was freed from his deal, only to have that hope crushed.
man, that's so sad I didnt even think about that
SaberSpark made a good point that Adam exhibited all of the 7 Deadly Sins this season. Thus he was the contributing factor which created hell.
I don't recall if it was in a video, on stream, or in my server, but I brought up how many sins he seems to check off and how ironic it was; however, I didn't think about him displaying those sinful traits as perhaps being a contributing factor to them existing in hell! (also, I love SaberSpark!)
@@NevaehEvol yeah if you think about it, if all of humanity came from him, then all the sin and wicked did as well.
In Kingdom Hearts, there’s a few Keyblade users still around. I didn’t expect Lucifer to be one of those Keyblade users.
Furthermore, there is another theory because of Alastor's floorboard and that his side of the floorboard was open Watch out for Charlie (I didn't find any information about the other person who could be Lilith)
Thats anything i know/think ❤i like your reactions:,) maybe you would do another video where you could speak about all the episodes and about some theorys:,) byeee❤

in agreement on Cherri.. she strikes me as the exaggerated example of Good friend, but bad influence, once Angel/Anthony made it VERY clear he was trying to be better, she did seem to back off on the pushing, so strikes me as more of she was stubborn/old habit reliant.
I can see that being the case! maybe I was a little hard on her
Finally, someone notices Dazzle's memorial statue.
Notice adam and sir pentious are the only angels with gold theme
I didn't notice that!
I wonder if that is related to why he appeared in the HQ instead of at the gates...
Luci charges a sacrificial lamb, RIP Dazzle 😢
I weep
Did you know in Episode 5, after Lucifer hugs Vaggie. He reaches out her halo. I think he know Vaggie is a Fallen Angel/Exorcist.
You know… honestly… Nifty being a 4th wall breaker but thinking that its her psychosis… would explain WAY too much
You can also discern Allistor's mood from the amount of "radio" in his voice. The less distortion, the more genuine he's being.
I really hope that Adam returns as a Sinner. Would give so many lore and character opportunities
I agreeeeeeee!!!!
Imagine he shows up and it's just him in black and purple with bat wings, just jamming away singing a new reprise of "Hell is Forever".

Keep in mind that both of alastors deals we've seen him make in the show had little to no consequence, even if we're all suspicious of that favor he wants from charlie
As the audience, WE know not to trust him. And when Alastor came back, vaggie was part of the happy group hug.)
All of this to say, I think he's moreso "fine" with the group. They aren't annoying him but he's not gonna stick his neck out just for them (we saw that in the fight).
This is why I LOVE watching different react videos of a thing. I didn’t notice the eyes in Lucifer’s cloak, thank you, damn that is awesome AF

There is a theory that when alastor does not have any radio effect on his voice, that is him being 100% genuine in what he's saying.
First to fall was a snake. First to rise is a snake.

I feel like this episode should have been longer and his death should have been extended a bit to give it a way bigger impact
40:18 Val and Vox making out...Gross but not in a "eww they're gay, gross" kind of way
I agree w Adam being able to display how much of a threat he is! also YEAH his death didn't even feel real because it just was blown through so quickly.
Here? Here we got nothing.

same!
38:03 you can see Vox next to Alastor in the ripped up picture, also the fact that ALASTORS IN A PHOTO makes it all the for shocking that they’re enemies now

If you rewatch Vox throwing the knife at the photo of Alastor at the end, you can see that the photo has Vox on the edge of the frame, implying they were once friends or more
The theory that Alastor is under Lilith's leash, gets more & more obvious
Nope, red hering, his deal is with Root of All Evil
@@KKarkatVantas IF root is even still a character. i still think there is something weird going on between lillith and eve and alastor is caught up somewhere in there
I still think that's the case, but if it's something else that'd be awesome!
It’s really really funny that while you were making fun of Adam’s face all I could think of was “yeah that’s just Alex Brightman’s face in cartoon form”
whoops!
This finale was the absolute definition of epic. Another great video, as always, my friend
it was wonderful! and aaaa thank you so much ;;
@NevaehEvol Also, as someone who's done theater, I'm sure you'll agree when I say that final note at the end of the episode was chef's kiss
That Alastors hair tuffs can go fflat means they really are his ears
are there people that think they aren't? I've always thought they were ears
In the days of the pilot, Vagatha was indeed Vaggie's full name. Like whenever they make nods to old continuities. On a related note, the outfit that Susan wears is the same one that Al put Vaggie in during his song in the pilot
Happy flaps!!! I wish I knew more about rigging and tracking so you could hand flappy on camera cuz I absolutely get that
for my next model, I'm gonna try to rig a happy flap toggle or something similar! I think it'd be v fun and expressive ♡
37:00 Somebody else finally noticed Fatnugget's spooky Dimentio looking stare! Lol, he a scary piggy
Glad I'm not the only 1 who noticed.
he looked so terrifyingly bizarre!
37:24 That a keyblade and no one can tell me otherwise
Fun Fact: During the fighting bit at 17:23 - 17:47, you can actually make out the leitmotifs of the characters as they appear if you listen to the music
Angel Dust - 17:25 Spider Polka Pop/Spider Provider
Cherri Bomb - 17:34 One Little Brawl
Sir Pentious - 17:36 50 Shades of Egg
Husk - 17:41 This Little Darling is Husk
Niffty - 17:45 This Little Darling is Niffty
So Viv says that season 2 should be out around mid 2025 or early 2026 I'm just hoping it come out before that cause I need a season 2
ah man, that is a spell away, but I can't say I'm shocked they need so much time! with how pretty the animation is, I'd rather they take their time than rush
@@NevaehEvolSome old person playing a game of chess against themself: "You CAN'T, rush ART."
RIP Pentious the GOAT
Oh hello
so true, what a way to go
at least he's redeemed tho!!
25:32 she hit lute with alastors ACTUAL radio
I hope Al doesn't find out!
@@NevaehEvol definitely wouldn't be good :/
16:58: I also didn’t know that fact until you pointed it out, so win-win.
shoutouts to googling Lute for her eyeballs
9:48 I am... conflicted... on one hand, EX-****ING-SCUSE YOU!?
heheheheheh
It has been so fun to see your reaction to these episodes.
I'm glad to hear that!
"More than anything"
Lover Couple duet was breaking my heart.
Razzle and Dazzle are like Keyky they are toys Lucifer bring to life.
Lucifer Morningstar has show up after Dazzle's death becouse he is Hellborn.
I knew exactly how you would react to this episode, here I am still finding myself happy as heck about it
awhh, you're sweet!
@@NevaehEvol thanks for the heart and thanks for saying I'm sweet but you're the sweetest with your gremlin reactions to Hazbin and other things that I've seen you react to, I'm always here to support in one way or another just wish I could buy some merch to show a little bit more support, and I hope you have a good rest of your night/day and week/month/year/rest of your life
Angel being a Good Wing Man for Pensious
shoutouts to the homie
Love how Pentious didn't even go to the gates of heaven, but just appeared right in front of Emily and Sera.
Great reactions to not just this episode but the whole season. Your excitement overall was so fun to watch. God I am eagerly awaiting Season 2! 😊
thank you, I'm flattered! I'm really excited for season 2 as well!
@@NevaehEvol no problem. Your excitement over the outfits and fight scenes were especially fun! You picked out little details I completely missed 😅
I love Val's face when we cut to the Vees after Niffty goes ham on Adam. Man's having 'Nam Flashbacks realising he dodged a nuke back in the nightclub 😂
Fun fact: if you look closely in the background, you can see Pen talking to Charlie about his feelings for Cherry. It's so cute.
how cute!
People lowkey predicting St. Pentious is one of my favorite parts of Hazbin Hotel reactions
I drop so many predictions that every once in a while I get some right
I am sure you will be watching more Hazbin videos but after the finale several songs were made to celebrate. These include a Lute versions of two songs towards Adam and Lilith.
Hell is forever Lute Version and Stay Gone Lute version
Awesome finale!
Im so happy Lute survived to season 2. Shes so unhinged 😂 cant wait to see if she will have her revenge arc
I agree! that would be a really cool arc!
@@NevaehEvol Yeah! Maybe she will also fall
It's so sad that this season is over. Now I have to wait months before I get to see your unfettered gremlin-ness in its purest form.
not necessarily! I post every Saturday ^^
@@NevaehEvol No, I know. I meant that Hazbin and Helluva pulls out your most inner gremlinosity and thus makes you the most pure and enjoyable version of yourself. In other words, I will miss the absolute bat-shit insanity.
I'm sure that Emily and Sir Pentious are going to try and contact Charlie to let her know her plan works and that Sera is going to get in the way.
oh no doubt about it
Loved watching your journey through this series.
Glad you enjoyed it!
THE FUCKIN LOOOOOONG ASS PAUSE RIGHT BEFORE "Dibs" addfdsdfffhygfgg
WHY YOU TRY TO KILL ME WITH LAUGHTER;?😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
