Very much so. It's so funny because even now I don't think Defne yet realises just how important she is to him and just how much he not only loves her but respects her but values her opinion and takes her advice in a way he wouldn't do from anyone else. But obviously that gradually changes. They both truly want the best for me each other and have each others back in such a wonderful way that truly are relationship goals. In fact it was watching this series that made me realise that a woman could be a man's protector as much as he could be hers. They may do it in different ways but Defne has already shown that she was this in season 1, but even more so in season 2 especially in the coming episodes. And Omer values her for this so much. It actually makes his jealousy re the book and Pamir so wasted but hey he's still that little bit insecure for now.

I know a lot of people are talking about the sweet moments between Omer and Defne, but let's talk about Omer's cousin for a second. One thing i absolutely hate is when someone tries to ruin somebody's business due to personal feelings, that gets me so riled up. Sude did the same exact thing, she used her jealousy and possessiveness to ruin defne but it impacted Omer's business and so many other people. The same thing is happening here, this guy wants defne but he's over here trying to ruin all these people's lives. It always impacts more than just the CEOs, and it sucks. A lot of people could lose their jobs and have their image ruined because some idiot was too hot headed and stupid to let a girl go, a girl who doesn't even like him.
Defne being there to support Omer during this rough patch, just proves how much of a good person she is. She put her doubts & fears aside & showed she’s just as selfless as she was before. I think the only reason he said what he said was because the passion or love Defne has for designing. I don't think he is trying to control her. He actually takes no for an answer. 1)I love that she smiles because she's clearly so happy to find out her name is Omer's password. She's still also the main/only one who can get him to calm down and get him to act sensibly when he's feeling frustrated and angry. 2) I tend to go back and forth about Aytekin. I do think it's funny that he tries to give advice to Omer and Defne about how to deal with each other because he doesn't have a clue about their past. But I do find him annoying at times too. But honestly I feel the same about Koray too. There are times when he shows he's much wiser than he looks, in fact he really helps things in the next few episodes, but other times he does go between me finding him just funny and yet others when I find him just annoying too. But he definitely proves his worth over the next episodes. 3) I definitely agree with you about Iso. I feel so bad for him at the moment. He's going to be so heart broken when he finds out. And yes I really admire the way this series deals with domestic abuse. Ayeshagul's story is so sad, and her husband his such a lazy jerk. 4) Yes Shukru Bey is definitely one of my favourites too. Him and Sadre Usta have always been such great supporters of Omer and Defne, and have really helped them work through difficulties and reunite them as well as being that voice of wisdom at just the right times.

I can see Omer smile in this ep. only 2 mins. and problems start again. It's too much drama, too many problems coming again and again. It's so exhausting to watch now. Never had any happy moments even 2 mins. His eyebrow twists all the time which I don't think is his real character. Poor Omer.

In this series she has proven to be a good actress. I didn't know her before but later started watching her series. She just slips into the role she's supposed to play. Though they didn't last that long. There must be a reason for that.....

The narrative of this story line is so dangerous. I totally agree with you. When I first watched this series, I was won over by how Omer looks, but there is the insidious red flags you identify I. Their relationships. I have yet to see how he gains back her trust after he abandoned her. After almost losing her will to live, it’s a dangerous message that she’ll be expected to,just let her devotion forget she almost lost her life because of Omer.

I don’t see how buying the house for her was control when she and her family literally had no way of solving that problem. What he did without consent from them was wrong which he himself acknowledge and apologize for. But who in real life would truly love someone and knowing their in trouble or have a problem that can’t be solve but you have the means to help out would not do it. Again the way he did it was wrong but he did it out of love because throughout the day he saw she was restless talking on the phone and suspected something was going on and they were engaged to be married again but yet she choose to hide that from him. Yes I understand she normally takes care of herself and dnt need other people’s help (I am like that) but she literally was out of option and her useless family was of no help. To show you that he truly and sincerely wanted to help he talk to Iso and had Iso take the property deed on his name and he did not even want the family to know that he bought the house for them cause he didn’t care about the praise or thanks he just wanted to make sure they weren’t left out on the streets and were taking care of since he had the means to help. Again the way he went about it was definitely wrong but I blame Defne if she had told him and let him know that I tell you so that you know but I dnt want you buying my house. I believe he would have respected her wish and probably help her come up with a way to settle the issue. So I think sometimes these comments are a bit to harsh and we need to look at things from all side. Side note: the character of Defne truly understand what love means, love forgives and does not hold grudges. They were both hurt by that game and secrets. He was never abusive towards Defne and they both used to support each other not just defne supporting him (yes us women at times we show more support cause it’s our nature). I really dnt like how we are making Omer the bad guy, they both have flaws and they both hurt each other. Somehow we act as if we were the ones in omer’s place we wouldn’t have walked away after finding out ppl you rely on and trusted been lying to you for almost a year or so looking you in your eyes. All of a sudden a place and ppl you were familiar with you become estranged to and felt used and abused by those that claim they love you, y’all act like y’all would have stayed. But I can also understand defne’s situation as well cause it was not her fault entirely. But I will not sit here and put the blame on Omer alone. Nope. Let’s be real ppl. I love both characters so I look at it from both sides and I think they suit each other well!

Completely agree with you Miriam! He left for Italy without saying anything to her. And when he came back he was expecting she has faithfully been waiting for him as he knows she loves him with all her heart. Despite "all the hell" she underwent she has turned out to be independent, more mature, more confident than before. Meanwhile abroad he was struggling a lot and spending an entire year unproductively; at home she bravely put everything behind, moved on with her life in order to become a well experienced and successful logistics manager. She deserves somebody much better than him.

Hehehe Pamir was making a mistake. If he meant to distract Omer, and increase his chance with Defne, he should have research more about DefOm. He should have heard that problems glue them together. We all know that Defne’s love, loyalty and faith for Omer is unmatched and she’d proven that countless of times, even when she’s hurting, she’d put it aside for Omer, she even lived with him for two weeks to dispel a rumor about him, she loves him more than herself. This season it’s somewhat like S1, Def loving him, pulling away when the going gets tuff, spending valuable time with him and then leaving him in the lurch many times. That’s what’s she is doing now, having words with him and then wanting to go help him same cycle. She can’t make up her mind, undecided as always.

For everyone saying Defne is omer’s lap dog or she has no self respect for running to help Omer while forgetting what she went through or the embarassement her family went through, I dnt think this has anything to do with any of that. Defne is a person who knows right from wrong, she knows when someone is just. This was about her being a bigger person putting aside her anger and hurt and standing up for what is right. She knows who Omer is, she knows he has principle, dignity, honor and his work ethics and professionalism are right and just. She knows that Omer would never ever plagiarize (check season 1 the episode where Yasemin company-“Cherie” was competing against Omer’s company when Korey stole Defne’s drawings to show to Omer and what he said to korey and Sinan) his work cause when it comes to that he is as sincere as he is with everything else in his life. So she stood up for that. She didn’t want to let what others were wrongly saying about the person she still very much love to tarnish his image because she knows who he is and who he is not! She decide to put pride aside and put the problems she has with him aside because that is their personal lives and matter and put on her professional businesswoman hat (although it was out of her love for him) to back him up and support him. I wish in this reality we were living in we were like this character, but I know some of y’all out of pettiness would let an innocent person rot in jail just cause they hurt y’all or y’all are cross with them. It’s call being a bigger person even when sometimes that person does not deserve it and not letting the situation control y’all actions. I wish we would all take lessons from some of these characters but I think often times we just watch a show just because people look cute and pretty and to release stress or criticize the characters but never truly learn any lesson that is sometimes hidden in these series.

Anyone else think that Pamir is a snake with no morals. I mean going to Vanni with Omar’s stuff just because Defne doesn’t seem to be interested in him. He doesn’t seem to understand that Defne only went with him to the party to be polite but he had no chance beyond being her boss not only because Defne loves Omar with everything she is but once Defne found out Pamir was Omar’s cousin that immediately knocked out of the race before it began.

I like how Defne stood up to pamir in support of Omer. After hearing what Defne had to say about Omer, I think that give him a clue about Defne’s love and loyalty to Omer. He was hoping for Defne to feel and look nervous around him about her taking Omer’s side but she stood firm in her support and belief that Omer would never steal other ppl’s design.
I love how Nihan is proving to be very protective of Defne even to her husband. Sukru is also proving his admiration and loyalty to Omer. It’s interesting when asked if Defne thanked him for the book he gave her, Omer replied, “Don’t even ask about it”. What transpired between Omer and Pamir in the parking lot about the game Pamir is playing shows Omer had enough but Pamir is not. Defne when confronting Omer about what happened the night before, Omer told her to end the game she is playing with Pamir but she was defiant telling Omer there is no game and that he can’t push her around and tell her what to do. But the new turn of event on the short lived success of the launch of Omer’s new designs which fell into the hands of the opposition, Viannie who also launched their marketing campaign selling the same shoes at a lesser price put Passionis reputation especially Omer in serious doubt and damage. Defne once again shows how she will defend Omer’s integrity to everyone especially to Pamir who was taking advantage of this fiasco to make Defne doubt Omer. Defne’s undying love to Omer shines brightly by being with Omer during this very difficult and trying times. Omer would not have controlled his temper if not for Defne being by his side especially knowing Sinan stopped the production because of the legal implications of what just happened. It’s amazing how Omer depends on Defne so much for support. She is the only one that can calm him down, think better and work better in very difficult situations. When Defne offered to work on Omer’s laptop and asked for the password, the smile on Defne’s face when Omer told her the password is “Defne” is so precious. Defne is just so good for Omer and Omer knows this. I can’t wait for the next episodes. Pamir is playing dirty talking to Viannis about the situation giving them the information. Seda warned Pamir that it’s not good what he is doing to his own cousin because of Defne. But Pamir retaliated that she is also has strong feelings for Sinan implying don’t lecture him. Interesting what’s going to happen next.

I know a lot of people are talking about the sweet moments between Omer and Defne, but let's talk about Omer's cousin for a second. One thing i absolutely hate is when someone tries to ruin somebody's business due to personal feelings, that gets me so riled up. Sude did the same exact thing, she used her jealousy and possessiveness to ruin defne but it impacted Omer's business and so many other people. The same thing is happening here, this guy wants defne but he's over here trying to ruin all these people's lives. It always impacts more than just the CEOs, and it sucks. A lot of people could lose their jobs and have their image ruined because some idiot was too hot headed and stupid to let a girl go, a girl who doesn't even like him.

1)I love that she smiles because she's clearly so happy to find out her name is Omer's password. She's still also the main/only one who can get him to calm down and get him to act sensibly when he's feeling frustrated and angry.
2) I tend to go back and forth about Aytekin. I do think it's funny that he tries to give advice to Omer and Defne about how to deal with each other because he doesn't have a clue about their past. But I do find him annoying at times too. But honestly I feel the same about Koray too. There are times when he shows he's much wiser than he looks, in fact he really helps things in the next few episodes, but other times he does go between me finding him just funny and yet others when I find him just annoying too. But he definitely proves his worth over the next episodes.
3) I definitely agree with you about Iso. I feel so bad for him at the moment. He's going to be so heart broken when he finds out. And yes I really admire the way this series deals with domestic abuse. Ayeshagul's story is so sad, and her husband his such a lazy jerk.
4) Yes Shukru Bey is definitely one of my favourites too. Him and Sadre Usta have always been such great supporters of Omer and Defne, and have really helped them work through difficulties and reunite them as well as being that voice of wisdom at just the right times.

The narrative of this story line is so dangerous. I totally agree with you. When I first watched this series, I was won over by how Omer looks, but there is the insidious red flags you identify I. Their relationships. I have yet to see how he gains back her trust after he abandoned her. After almost losing her will to live, it’s a dangerous message that she’ll be expected to,just let her devotion forget she almost lost her life because of Omer.

I don’t see how buying the house for her was control when she and her family literally had no way of solving that problem. What he did without consent from them was wrong which he himself acknowledge and apologize for. But who in real life would truly love someone and knowing their in trouble or have a problem that can’t be solve but you have the means to help out would not do it. Again the way he did it was wrong but he did it out of love because throughout the day he saw she was restless talking on the phone and suspected something was going on and they were engaged to be married again but yet she choose to hide that from him. Yes I understand she normally takes care of herself and dnt need other people’s help (I am like that) but she literally was out of option and her useless family was of no help. To show you that he truly and sincerely wanted to help he talk to Iso and had Iso take the property deed on his name and he did not even want the family to know that he bought the house for them cause he didn’t care about the praise or thanks he just wanted to make sure they weren’t left out on the streets and were taking care of since he had the means to help. Again the way he went about it was definitely wrong but I blame Defne if she had told him and let him know that I tell you so that you know but I dnt want you buying my house. I believe he would have respected her wish and probably help her come up with a way to settle the issue. So I think sometimes these comments are a bit to harsh and we need to look at things from all side. Side note: the character of Defne truly understand what love means, love forgives and does not hold grudges. They were both hurt by that game and secrets. He was never abusive towards Defne and they both used to support each other not just defne supporting him (yes us women at times we show more support cause it’s our nature). I really dnt like how we are making Omer the bad guy, they both have flaws and they both hurt each other. Somehow we act as if we were the ones in omer’s place we wouldn’t have walked away after finding out ppl you rely on and trusted been lying to you for almost a year or so looking you in your eyes. All of a sudden a place and ppl you were familiar with you become estranged to and felt used and abused by those that claim they love you, y’all act like y’all would have stayed. But I can also understand defne’s situation as well cause it was not her fault entirely. But I will not sit here and put the blame on Omer alone. Nope. Let’s be real ppl. I love both characters so I look at it from both sides and I think they suit each other well!

Despite "all the hell" she underwent she has turned out to be independent, more mature, more confident than before. Meanwhile abroad he was struggling a lot and spending an entire year unproductively; at home she bravely put everything behind, moved on with her life in order to become a well experienced and successful logistics manager.

The attention he gives them is fake; like casually touching them, touching their hair, pretending to look into their eyes, a seductive smile, a comment on their clothes or hair meant to show them he is looking at them but really it means nothing. Thank goodness define is not attracted to him! Of course, that could provide some good drama to the story! LOL.

For everyone saying Defne is omer’s lap dog or she has no self respect for running to help Omer while forgetting what she went through or the embarassement her family went through, I dnt think this has anything to do with any of that. Defne is a person who knows right from wrong, she knows when someone is just. This was about her being a bigger person putting aside her anger and hurt and standing up for what is right. She knows who Omer is, she knows he has principle, dignity, honor and his work ethics and professionalism are right and just. She knows that Omer would never ever plagiarize (check season 1 the episode where Yasemin company-“Cherie” was competing against Omer’s company when Korey stole Defne’s drawings to show to Omer and what he said to korey and Sinan) his work cause when it comes to that he is as sincere as he is with everything else in his life. So she stood up for that. She didn’t want to let what others were wrongly saying about the person she still very much love to tarnish his image because she knows who he is and who he is not! She decide to put pride aside and put the problems she has with him aside because that is their personal lives and matter and put on her professional businesswoman hat (although it was out of her love for him) to back him up and support him. I wish in this reality we were living in we were like this character, but I know some of y’all out of pettiness would let an innocent person rot in jail just cause they hurt y’all or y’all are cross with them. It’s call being a bigger person even when sometimes that person does not deserve it and not letting the situation control y’all actions. I wish we would all take lessons from some of these characters but I think often times we just watch a show just because people look cute and pretty and to release stress or criticize the characters but never truly learn any lesson that is sometimes hidden in these series.

Anyone else think that Pamir is a snake with no morals. I mean going to Vanni with Omar’s stuff just because Defne doesn’t seem to be interested in him. He doesn’t seem to understand that Defne only went with him to the party to be polite but he had no chance beyond being her boss not only because Defne loves Omar with everything she is but once Defne found out Pamir was Omar’s cousin that immediately knocked out of the race before it began.
He never did give the design. He just said that.or it was the translation Omer will have a dream and realizes that the table he drew on was where his competitor got it from...
I like how Defne stood up to pamir in support of Omer. After hearing what Defne had to say about Omer, I think that give him a clue about Defne’s love and loyalty to Omer. He was hoping for Defne to feel and look nervous around him about her taking Omer’s side but she stood firm in her support and belief that Omer would never steal other ppl’s design.

I love how Nihan is proving to be very protective of Defne even to her husband. Sukru is also proving his admiration and loyalty to Omer. It’s interesting when asked if Defne thanked him for the book he gave her, Omer replied, “Don’t even ask about it”. What transpired between Omer and Pamir in the parking lot about the game Pamir is playing shows Omer had enough but Pamir is not. Defne when confronting Omer about what happened the night before, Omer told her to end the game she is playing with Pamir but she was defiant telling Omer there is no game and that he can’t push her around and tell her what to do. But the new turn of event on the short lived success of the launch of Omer’s new designs which fell into the hands of the opposition, Viannie who also launched their marketing campaign selling the same shoes at a lesser price put Passionis reputation especially Omer in serious doubt and damage. Defne once again shows how she will defend Omer’s integrity to everyone especially to Pamir who was taking advantage of this fiasco to make Defne doubt Omer. Defne’s undying love to Omer shines brightly by being with Omer during this very difficult and trying times. Omer would not have controlled his temper if not for Defne being by his side especially knowing Sinan stopped the production because of the legal implications of what just happened. It’s amazing how Omer depends on Defne so much for support. She is the only one that can calm him down, think better and work better in very difficult situations. When Defne offered to work on Omer’s laptop and asked for the password, the smile on Defne’s face when Omer told her the password is “Defne” is so precious. Defne is just so good for Omer and Omer knows this. I can’t wait for the next episodes. Pamir is playing dirty talking to Viannis about the situation giving them the information. Seda warned Pamir that it’s not good what he is doing to his own cousin because of Defne. But Pamir retaliated that she is also has strong feelings for Sinan implying don’t lecture him. Interesting what’s going to happen next.
Tell me what Omer has done to earn such devotion from Defne after he returned from Rome , having turned his back on Defne for a year and leaving others to put her back together again?
