I think the first part of the final boss battle in the old version Giegue in the process of turning into Giygas looked creepier than in the new version. But the music is more unsettling in the new version. He looked creepier in the old version because of how wide open his jaws were like he was screaming and all his limbs were stretched out.
T means time as you need time to reload or prepare yourself or whatever. And when it says Giygas it means that Niiue is in the same sort of state as Giygas or something like that I couldn't beat Giygas I always run out of pp. Also it says that Giegue lashes out with his most powerful psi but that was before this happened but he turns into Giygas after the devils machine is turned on. Also the mini Giygas swirls could be called Googs as that is what those mini Giegues are called or Giygs.
In Giygas first form in Cogdis He got the insanity out and then his body started to turn misty like and starts to summon Mini Giygas Swirls. Then in the 2nd, he turns to the Same 3rd form on Earthbound. the fetus fog.
uh also only one of the cog dis downloads work as one says file is corrupt also I waited for over an hour for Giygas to change state but it didn't work so I gave up in the end. this is a good game though they are making a new version.

Old Cogdis' transforming Giygas was much disturbing to me, strange that the much more detailed Sprite in the newer updates was much less disturbing, maybe it's the style of the older Sprite... No offence to the people who worked so hard on this.
I think part of it is the fact that the game used to have no backgrounds, so you would just see the sprites floating in a pitch black void staring at you.
What always baffles me is that the English community has somehow tried to make Giygas' Japanese name, ギーグ (Giegue), the cannon name of his original form before going insane. No, let it be known that the official English version of Earthbound Origins contained the name Giegue because that was originally how it was going to be localized, to be the same as his Japanese name, but when that got scrapped, his name was officially localized to Giygas in Earthbound when that came out. In other words, HIS NAME HAS ALWAYS BEEN GIEGUE IN JAPANESE, BOTH FORMS. In English, they really made this unclear by retaining his original localized name since they did not change the Mother 1 localization beta when finally releasing it as Earthbound Origins. In all technicalities, his name would be considered Giygas in English in both Earthbound Origins and Earthbound, but they didn't change the prior to match the latter and instead released the beta untouched. Which is why I will refer to him both as a white Mewtwo and as a red abomination as Giygas when talking about the English version.
