Hollyberry exiled herself from the hollyberry Kingdom and lived faraway from her family. Dark cacao lost a lot of soldiers and got betrayed by his own son. Golden cheese lost everything, her Kingdom, her treasure, her citizens but she could not let her beloved Kingdom and people go so she created a matrix and she lived there so many years just to be relieved from the grief. White Lily knew the truth about the witches and that enraged her what made her evil . (But it doesn't justify her starting a literal war.)
