Interesting how the piezo igniter and pilot “lighter” have been positioned underneath the gas+air mixture tubes and the pilot must have a long-throw flame to ride along the top of the ridge and out the square hole to light the jets on the outer ring, and the pilot only works when the knob is pushed in to light the hob and goes out when released
