Well done. My daughter was not sure about med school out of high school so she did not apply to PLME. She did get into Yale, Harvard, brown and Stanford (where she will graduate in 2023). But she did end up choosing to go to med school and probably regrets not having gone the PLME route. Premed classes, MCAT, and now the med school application stress could all have been avoided. Enjoy Brown, I know I did. Class of ‘89 !

The brown plme surpasses any school out there including harvard. The structure of the plme is so geared towards the students interests unlike other joint programs. I am hoping my son is admitted as well. Are you still doing the essay readings? I may need your services.

There's lots of different methods for this - One of the most formal ways of doing so is by applying EA or ED. However, there are also plenty of other options. Some informal ones are attending webinars and similar events put on by the college. For colleges that you live near, I would also recommend touring in-person. One thing that I would recommend for all colleges is signing up for interviews - make sure to sign up early, as spots fill up fast!
Exactly what @Neal Steger said!! If you are deferred by your EA or ED school, your application is moved into the regular decision applicant pool. So I didn't apply to both rounds, my application was moved to the RD round by the admissions committee
Unfortunately, none of the Ivy Leagues offer merit scholarships. :( However, I would recommend applying to local and independent scholarships, which is what I did! Often, local organizations will offer these.
