I enjoyed the episode. That drowning analogy 😢

Asha, great analog with the drowning in the pool. I also loved how you pointed out that the appreciation is valued but please TAG IN!! I think in the moment of needing help, ppl can be so overwhelmed with trying to solve the issue that they cannot think clearly on HOW to ask for help no WHAT they even need help with. As partners, we should strive to be in service to our mate. Hey, baby, can I help you? Does she need a bottle? Is she hot? Is she cold? I think when not in the moment, that we have to convey to our partner how we would like for them to show up but it could be different at different times. This time, I may need you to rub my back as I rock her to sleep. At a another time, take this baby so I can go back to sleep!!
Devon, you asked the million dollar question. Do moms think dads get that instinct upon becoming a dad? I think we expect that, we subconsciously think so but we do not see it. For women, it kicks in as soon as she feels she's pregnant. For men, it may not be until after the baby is born.

I’m thankful for running into you guys podcast from Instagram reels. I’m in a 3 year relationship, we have a 1yr old who is getting ready to be 2 (I gotta be on top of buying a cake ASAP for her 😂), and my significant other & I recently started to have some conflicts in our relationship. I really do need to get better at creating those deep conversations on finding out those stressors in my lady. I spend the 6 hours per week with my lady, but I REALLY need to level up more into some DEEP conversations with her!!! Thank you guys for the advice, and I’m tuned in 📺
