EXACTLY! RAW in 2002-2006 always was the better show and was the a show the only con that i hated was Triple H reing of terror other than that i prefer RAW over Smackdown during those years.
Well the plan was to have Triple H as the heel WWE champion on SmackDown heading into Mania 21 where Cena would have beaten Hunter for the title. And Randy Orton would’ve been the babyface WWE champion heading into Mania 21. That was the original plan for Mania 21, who Orton would’ve faced I don’t know?. What ended all of that was Orton was terrible in that Babyface role, and Triple H “Didn’t want to work Tuesdays”. Hunter didn’t want to be on SmackDown. Vince originally wasn’t all that high on Batista, Vince actually didn’t want Batista to be in Evolution, Vince wanted Mark Jindrak in that role. But Hunter became friends with Batista and said he wanted Batista in the group so Vince then caved into his Son In Law and said fine. After Orton’s botched Babyface run was when Vince finally acknowledged Batista and Vince was then fully gung ho on him to push him to the moon as a Babyface. So Vince changed the plans to give JBL the WWE title to drop it to Cena at Mania 21 and for Batista to beat Hunter at Mania 21. And in the end the right outcome was made, as Batista was the bigger star in 2005, not Cena, I think people would’ve been shocked to see Vince choosing Cena over Batista as the main guy because Batista was by far the bigger star out of the two back in 2005. Batista was getting much louder pops from the crowds back in 2005, Cena didn’t really hit the ground with the kids until 2006, a year later.
@@NuMetalfan1996 eh, I personally don't think it was the injury, I think it was the trade, raw is the brand for making storylines and pushing your top guy as the main guy and making him look strong, smackdown roster was dwindling, cena left at the right timing, but batista got unlucky, and smackdown is land of opportunity and chances, so many guys who could share titles with batista, huge problem
@@theonlygoodonehere2259 Well I think Eddie dying was another reason. Batista in 2005 was the far bigger name of the two, even when Batista was on SmackDown. The injury and Eddie dying hurt Batista and SmackDown’s stock.
As much i like JBL i always feel that Triple H will have made a better heel Champion on Smackdown than him and plus we could have got Cena vs Triple H 1 year earlier. Randy Orton will have being the new leader of Evolution and will be World champion as heel. So probably in the shake up of 05 Cena is tradded for Batista also HBK is tradded to Smackdown thats when Batista vs Triple H happen but in Summerslam 05 then Triple H will take time off he wins the World Heavyweight Champion when Batista vacate the belt and HBK will have win the Royal Rumble face him in Wrestlemania 22 with HBK winning and then having they're last match in Hell in a Cell. HBK will have turn heel and join Triple H reforming DX they will feud against Brother of Destruction where Triple H like real life gets injured and he is off of TV you probably could get HBK being tradded to RAW to face Cena for the WWE champion get the timeline like it was originaly and draft Triple H to RAW in 07 have him return like he did in real life.
@@christhianborrero3623 vince wasn't gonna push batista if triple h didn't back him, so batista was gonna get buried if triple h wasn't there, if he got traded, vince might have given up on batista by now

Triple H was traded back to RAW for Booker T and the Dudley Boyz. RVD had already been drawn in the lottery bin.

I agree at that time Batista was def bigger than Cena. To your point if wasn’t till Batista got injured in 2006 where Cena got bigger

I still don't think batista's career pans out the way it does, if they move triple h to smackdown
@theonlygoodonehere2259 i disagree , i think will have being the way it did. Batista was already in the eyes of WWE the next future Star.
