They have 1 hard gun and 5 small gun ! i designed 3 versions of theses and the mark 2 (who is inferior to my mark 3) have a score of 1200 with the french ! the score of the mark 3 is so high that its not worth it to sell right now even with 50k selling its too high !@@TortugaPower
It has a lot of MG ports to bloat the total stat number, the cannon port doesn't require sponson weight to mount a cannon on, it has a cabin which gives some decent crew and protection stats, and the engine can fit the largest engine in the tech tree (Liberty V12) if you wanted to. While the tracks are mediocre in stats, you usually don't really feel it with a good enough engine and decent weight management. In my experience, A7V designs usually float around 30k weight, maxing out around 33k depending on how much stuff you shoved into the designed components. This is great for bonus points being under Vanguard weight limit, while having enough stats to meet the rest of the requirements.
@@TortugaPower Not necessarily. My first ever MK 1 tank still has the blue hull even after it was sold to contract and saw combat. You gotta do it before you finish the design assignment.
That is something they probably SHOULD change for Reserve engineering, Why would you research 7 separate MGs? Like unless the manufacture is crazy enough to make every MG different then its like "what's the point?" just have ONE MG and Cannon to research (if their is no different weapons). BTW if you looking to save some weight on your tanks, take the Tail Wheels off. They are HEAVY and don't really contribute much.
Tortuga forcing his workers to work no matter what and having kids as half of the workers. This what we expect from that rival company THG Butcher has but not from Tortuga.😂
As a side note, as many steam reviews have said "this is just a longer demo". Which is Very Disappointing, not to mention tiring. After all Tortuga, you and everyone else who has covered this game has DONE THIS EXACT SAME THING like 3 or 4 times now. It really do be like "WHERE DA NEW CONTENT!?" Early Access does get abused pretty hard. Its one thing if the game gets regular updates and new content as time goes on, But NO ONE expects "early Access" to last YEARS like it tends to do alot. Hell their are games that have been in "early access" for over a Decade, A DECADE! Thats not Early Access, that Alpha/Beta TESTING!
Unfortunate that all the stats are just smoke and mirrors. None of the "tank stats" have any bearing on the model in the test drive. Eg the Whippet with Whippet tracks will never climb that dirt ramp any better, no matter if you triple all the supposedly relevant stats. And the "components" are not modified at all by the sub-components. Components simply provide "sockets" for stat carrying items ("sub-components"). Thus the RHA armor item adds a flat 250kg weight and 15? armor points, regardless whether it is placed in the socket of a big hull or a small sponson. All the "stats and mechanics" are just smoke and mirrors for the players imagination...
Interesting point I hadn't considered. Will replacing different engines in the Whippet make it faster or perform differently? It's a bummer to hear that sub-components aren't having an impact, but at the same time I'm not hoping that they spend too much time in the test drive area :)
@@TortugaPower I did not notice an engine change making any difference to the performance. It seems that driving characteristics are only affected by the basic hull + track combination, nothing else seems to matter there (including engine, weight, sub-components and so on...). Thus the game is a lot of clicks and loading screens in order to stack stat boni. With menial, repetitive tasks (eg resource purchases) and some 3D tank visualisations in between. Imagination, hope and busywork carry the player beyond the steam refund window. 🤫
In my experience A7V's hull is very good when it comes to some contracts. Definately worth designing a vanguard tank using it
Okay, thanks Do you know why that is, maybe good armor (ricochet or thickness)?

I think it also has the best overall armor, at least compared to Mark 1, 5 and lights/mediums
This game is just such a hidden gem!
It’s Tortuga! The one with the Mark 1 shaped body
And don't you forget it!
Fusillade basically just means salvo, so a fusillade tank would be a tank that throws a lot of firepower in quick succession or at the same time
I love how I am getting surprised everytime you are trying to hit that fly!
It wasn't as loud [when I checked in post] as I feared.
"probably have of them are children" had me dying
The blueprint image in the tank selection screen can be rectified by changing the paint and hitting save before you start the design.
okay, thanks! I guess it would also go away after the part is fully designed, right? (hope so)

Times are changing!
For the dawn after the storm
You can actually get 6 crews for the new tank instead of 7. 1 Commander, 1 Driver, 2 Gunner and 2 Mechanic
Cool! I haven't tried it. Is there any penalty for not maxing out the crew score?
today update game and plz make one video

Maybe consider deleting all the old messages once you've read them. Makes it easier to see what is new.
I can see how cleaning up like that would be better. My goal when I open the news is to get out as quickly as possible.
