Easily the best remix of this tune ive ever heard. This is absolutely a certified booty bumpin' banger 🔥 It feels like kickin back n relaxing on a nice warm beach for sure
@@platimatic Fun fact, "Boom! There She Was" was the theme song of a local channel's weather report programme. I had it embedded on my mind for so many years and when I knew what it was (and listening to this song) it just brought me back sooooo many memories of staying way too late for the late-night programming. fun times.
Savaged Regime uses Deflemask Legacy to write his music. If you want to get into writing Sega Mega Drive music though, I’d recommend Furnace instead due to it having the following improvements: -in-software sample editor for resampling samples & better adjusting them to the MD -a more advanced sound driver capable of higher sample rates or software-mixing 2 PCM channels -more accurate emulation cores compared to Deflemask -instrument editor is laid out in a cleaner manner Also you can write music for a shitton of other sound chips & hardware combinations too. Nearly every sound chip you can think of released prior to 1992 is included in Furnace somewhere, along with some extras too.
@@ocha-time savaged regime also uses Deflemask Legacy instead of Furnace because he’s used it for years upon years and is too used to it to make the switch yet(even though Furnace is more advanced in terms of its featureset)
Savage drops a new track? You bet I'm leaving everything where it is to listen Very good rearrange! Has a lot more identity than the original, which I always felt was the weakest track in the ost
This is just such a different vibe. Like...much more mellow and chunky at the same time. I kinda dig it lol
These rearranges are always fun.
It's giving me major jazzy DOS game vibes. Feels like something out of Jazz Jackrabbit, or something. It's really fantastic.
Yes on Vinyl: Atari 50 Original Game Soundtrack
Sounds like something I'd listen to in a (Sonic-themed) cafe.
I can perfectly picture Amy and Cream as baristas there
That kind of place actually does exist. It's the Sonic Speed Cafe in Chino Hills, California.
@@ZEKESPILLEDINKMUSIC Too bad it's in California
You know its going to be a good day when theres a Savaged Regime post. Amazing.
This gives me the vibe of a Plok-style platformer. It's got that kind of bounce to it. A little bit beach-y.
I can already tell I'm gonna be hearing this one somewhere in the next Sonic Robo Blast 2 OLDC
I spot a Spriter's Resource background without the rotating color palette added back in
Sounds like summer. This will make sure summer gets here in no time
You could say... it's a Door Into Summer?
It was created for a zone that was referred to as Tropical Summer.
@@Cretaceous158 Ah, that makes sense
The King...has returned.
This sounds so goooooodddd
probably the best remix of this song I've ever heard!
Sounds like something you'd hear in the cut Sonic 2 level, Wood Zone.
This is fresher than cookies straight from the oven
Man the memories of playing this with my lil sis back in the 90s, priceless. Really nice rearrangement.
There's Emerald Hill, but this one feels like it should be called Jade Coast.
Cyberdime?
@@HoodieDragon you're thinking of mystic realm lol

What's that smell? Is it a freshly baked banger from Savaged Regime? You bet it is! 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Never heard this in Toejam and Earl before!
I love the YM2612
Good retro summer vibe.
Bruh I am drooling over that bassline 👁👁💦
I hear some.Ace of Base vibes 😮
Kinda gave me UB40 vibes.
so basically if it was covered by ace of base using the YM2612! sounds great :D
Like the vibe, it’s very positive and chilly
That intro is pure bliss
i agree
Babe wake up
Savage Regime just posted fire
the traversal of the woods is currently ongoing.
sounds kinda like reggae. good job bub bub
The wonder of Tails meeting Sonic for the first time and deciding to follow him in secret!
A certified hood classic
Elevator music for a Sonic game. Sincerely awesome.
A sonic delight!
Ya mon! This is great! Excellent!
i love how this sounds! great job as always!
God this is going to fucking slap this summer
Its a good Day when savage post something, amazing!!!
I heard SEGA at the start 😂
The King returns! Gold as always 😍
This is great! Do I sense a little bit of Cool Spot in there?
What a THICC bass!
Very kind of Scritti Politti vibe here, love it
Chao garden vibes
Imagine playing Sonic Adventure 3 and chao garden has this music
Emerald Hill but Donkey Kong is here to chill with Tails
Amazing Work.❤
Amazing as always! Balanced so well. The deep bass and wide field really help that concentrated core ... You really give the 2612 seven emeralds
Absolutely stellar as always. So clean and crisp all the way down to the melty, bumping bass. Phenomenal.
this person never ceases to amaze me with how incredable their remixes are. I hope these get put together as a romhack at some point.
Such an upgrade!
godly as always!
Another great sounding remix, nice!
Such a fantastically executed song, jeez. Great job!
Good to be back together
Fantastic
This reminds me so much of "Vengaboys - We're Going to Ibiza!". 😄
HAAAAA!.....just need me a fuzzy drink and a fat nap under a palmtree somewhere and yep..paradise.
Tropical Summer/Plant/Sun zone.
🥶 this beat goes cold
i fuckin LOVE this
Ohh my... 😳🕶️👌
Sounds like Reggae
we out here
Emerald Hill but if it was arreanged by a Jamaican SEGA Musician!
This is wonderful. Thank you!
Very carefree tune, great job!
Not everything fits into his style, this be one of them..
it has a pretty nice Scritti Politti-like taste to it, reminds me a bit of "Boom! There She Was". sweet and groovy
Exactly my thoughts. :) Was thinking of the "Provision"-album too.

PSG3 sitting around like " :| "
Cowbells? Anyone?
PSG3 is typically unused because you can’t use PSG3 and PSG4 at the same time without sacrificing PSG4’s capabilities. Just some SN7 jank.

Another one
the first 2 notes👌

BLUE OCEAN ZONE🎉
Would love to see gnat attack stage 2 from Mario paint done with the genesis sound
Where can I find or purchase these tracks to listen to on my real Genesis?
It almost sounds like an end credits theme like this.
Would this actually play on real hardware? That would be so cool

Could you rearrange some of the original ToeJam and Earl tracks in V2612? 💖
