- Dauin on the outskirts of Dumaguete, Negros Oriental.
It is a black sand beach that is a haven for muck diving.
If macro life and critters are your kind of thing then Dauin is one of the best places in the philippines to dive.
This diving video was filmed in only 2 DIVES as part of my travel & diving vlog! And while editing I cut out lots of good shots just to reduce the time. I have never dived anywhere and seen so much interesting creatures as here.
The sand is absolutely alive and is constantly moving with life. Every where you look is small critters moving.
My guide did an excellent job finding all the small stuff including the little cuttlefish which hides in the sand. He found this only by noticing its tiny eyes protruding from the sand!
