This intro always gave me chills and got me excited for Sunday night football. Carrie doesn't have the presence or power in her voice that Faith Hill had for this. Just my opinion.
Carrie has greater excitement, she absolutely lifts the room. Faith doesn't give you the impression she's the football fan as Carrie does.

There is no one that comes even close to competing with Faith Hill on her beauty, her voice, and her job at making this intro, along with all the others from 2008-12. Carrie Underwood was the closest competitor, but even she doesn't come close to Faith. I wish NBC would bring her back, doesn't look like they will though. :(

@@pureluck8767 Cuz it's been 10 years..... wishful thinking. Carrie has done an okay job. It's been so long that I associate Carrie with SNF now, and had to come back to this video to hear how Faith used to do it. And Carrie is much younger. She's 16 years younger than Faith. After Carrie does it for another 5-10 years they'll find the next blond bombshell to do it.

As people know, the Jets routed the Bengals in this game, 37-0, as the Bengals decided that the Jets would be the easier opponent in the playoffs. That backfired when the Jets defeated the Bengals again, 24-14

It wouldn't have mattered if they won or loss, because they were gonna lose in the playoffs regardless. My Texans would have kicked their ass again, like they did in week 6. I was glad to see the Jets shut them up in the playoffs, because it was so much fun watching Bengals' fans cry at O'Charleys.
