That’s what makes it so entertaining, a world where the protagonists decisions matter on an individual basis, unlike our world where the only movers and shackers are the rich and organization heads. The MC's unique ability is being able to communicate (both ways) with dragons. What makes it a super power is that he can earn their trust to the point the dragons consider him to be "one of the best humans," and he can get said dragons to follow some complex orders. It is absurd when he can talk a dragon into being a merchant.

It's a much better way to go. I'm tired of the "I'm the special destined one because I'm just naturally OP in magic and/or physical strength" stories. DBZ and other animes already did this to death a long time ago. Heck, even the original Dragon Ball was essentially just an alternate take on the ancient legend of Wukong the inexplicably super powered gods defeating monkey man. And in this story the main character also didn't start off weak but then quickly becomes crazy OP anyway. Even if this series goes on for a long time it seems like the main character won't ever notably be OP by himself, it's really his guild that is growing at a faster rate than most, and with good reason.
The awe and adoration for the dragons reminds me of early planes which was a spectacle to see back then. People would watch with awe and be amazed by the plane and pilot who flies them(This was litterally a 2-3 years after the Wright Brothers first flight) as stalls and crashes were common, now fast foward about a decade in WW1. The planes were seen as a tool of war due to their capabilities like Anti-Infantry and Scouting later in the war, Bombers came to action such as the German Empire's Gotha G.V which were used in conjunction with Zeppelins and other bombers such as the Zeppelin-Staaken RVI (Largest mass produced) bomber in WW1.
The first bombers weren't German infact they were used in the First Balkan War(Which happened from 1912-1914) An Albatros F.2 would be the first aircraft considered to be used as an bomber as said by Wikipedia.
I like how his ability to talk to dragons isn't sexy humanoid girlfriends granted it could happen since I don't know this manga. At least this sets up a stable relationship
Yes, I like how this is strictly a platonic love story so far, helps build up the characters relationship in a more meaningful way. Though I'm certainly not against the dragons getting the ability to transform into human girls or some kind of more anthropomorphic humanoid form.😅

I really like this story, it has magic, drama, magical creatures, some comedy, & action, I really like the main character, and I like his magical ability, to be able to communicate with magical creatures. So I really hope more gets made of this manga story.

I was idly listening to this in the background and when the video ended I was surprised it was so quick and over with. So I went to the manga and I am surprised how you managed to fit like 20min of reading into an hour. It sort of felt like I was watching an anime in my head as you explained what was going on.
All you have to do is find ways to describe things in a way that takes longer than usual like when your trying to tell someone something but you need a buildup for it
