When I discover an artist, an album of this magnitude, I lie to myself before I venture to youtube. I think "This must have hundreds of thousands of views."
Way to go humanity. 21 likes and a few thousand views...
I'm not sure if I love or hate living in a world that does not appreciate art.
At least there are always good seats at the concerts.
***** you're right. I won't lie, there's a contrarian aspect inside me that is thankful that we few get to hold these artists to ourselves.
Zach Byrd You said what went through my mind too! God why? He absolutely blew me away on Sunday night at the Pepper Canister Church in Dublin.
Aine Byrne At least I'm not alone in my thinking!
Brilliant
Just an update. John is still in Kilkenny. Still making great music. It's not easy these days to do that. Hopefully the new album will be released in 2017. He has dates coming up in UK.
intense, fiery, explosive
p.s i was just tryin to leave a helpful comment (below) and ive ended up watching this clip in full and fuck what do i say?!dont we all want to feel so alive?havent we all been 'down there' dont we reel with the enormity of it and of existence ?dont we need fucking poets with soul, with spirit?who will sing our blues?who will meet us in that place?who will go to that place on our behalf while we stumble behind in awkward naked souled gratitude ? Back the record!!!
