Great video señor. I am having low oil pressure in mine also 2010 kw t660 Cummins isx 400st engine. I replaced the oil filter and the small device that goes in the oil filter housing and it helped. But only when I am idling the pressure is at 20. But the truck pressure goes up once I am driving to like 38-39. Can you tell me if that’s ok? Thanks Francisco 😎👍🏽 saludos
Hola francisco una pregunta. Hize el def injector quantity test y no sale nada de def por el injector. El injector lo cambie hace 4 meses. Puede ser q el injector salio defectuoso o podria ser otro problema?
Hey . ! The wear on the bearing that you show is due to BAD maintenance....Not oil pressure . ...An no this is NOT a constant issue on them.... I wonder where you get that info...

I recently got my engine rebuilt it’s a Cummins isx 2008. I’m getting 32 psi at 70mph. And 22-25 at idle. Is that normal? Any help would be appreciated thanks :)
The problem is that the psi has to be cranked up, its a problem that goes around.. you have a system that operates at low psi at high rpm, problem #1 , problem #2 is that low psi destroys the engine.. problem #3 is that the worn out components finish destroying the Engine.. cranking up the oil pressure is the way to go. With volvo D13 we were told to never idle truck below 900rpm, as soon as the truck is started, put in fast idle to avoid low oil pressure and these Engines in our fleet, Volvo D13 lasted over 1 million miles.

My 2016 t680 with cummins isx15 have 437,000 miles ,and the oil pressure cool is like 33 to 37 , and hot running the engine is like 40 to 43 , ,i make oil change every 10K miles, I bought the truck with 269 miles ,,
They had an upgrade on the spring on the filter housing to boost the oil pressure it’s a big allen plug if it was upgraded it will have a paint maker to indicate it was upgraded

That's good oil pressure for the cummins. Mine is 38. Hot is at 33. Idle is 15 to 18. It's with in specs

Yeah it’s low bro I have pete 2015 wth Cummins nd have 725k miles no rebuilt it’s stay always around 40-42 nd on idle 25-27psi
Hello I just did rehaul on my 2012 western 4900 car hauler code I’m getting spn-100 and check engine light comes on when I slow down
spn 100 refers to a low oil pressure, check your oil pressure, repair asap.

If no paint on Allen head who should I contact? Kenworth or Cummins?

@@markcovington6538 could contact either. It’s a bypass valve an $8 part. Sits right on top of the oil filter (in the housing.)
