Hey gang, V4 of our Rookie Report releases at 7PM EST! Just wanted to clarify 🙏🏼
Love the way yall are doing these list. Would like yall to add the player’s position and/or the logo of their team in the graphics. Thanks for all the research done.
I just stumbled upon y'alls channel and I absolutely love it! Great breakdown and process, gents. Cheers
Great to hear!! Thank you 🙏🏼
Great video as usual! Are your rookie ranking different In a sf 10 man (no TEP)? Would u push qbs down just a lil?
You guys are killing it. Much love!
appreciate you!
So glad to see you guys getting the attention you deserve. These numbers have been amazing. Keep it up. Talk it up!
Appreciate ya!
Great job fellas. First one I've watched and love the takes!
Glad you enjoyed it!
In a heavy rebuild 12 team sf, should I trade down from 1.03 to 1.05 if I can pick up the 2.05 in addition? Or just not overthink it and take Daniel’s? (QBs are burrow and kyler no qb3)
Great stuff guys!
A Waddle and 2024 4th rounder
B Dell 2.05
I think this is the only honest Brock Bowers take on RUclips
Appreciate you being open to the convo 🙏🏼
@@DynastyLandFootball Let's face it, Pitts hasn't lived up to the hype. I drafted Mayer in my premium TE league last year, and Bowers is like a kick in the crotch to me! But Mayer has a full year in the NFL above Bowers and Minshew is going to throw the ball short over the middle a lot, so I'm still holding out hope for Mayer!!
@@lloydbonifide I think this is Andrews and hurst all over again personally.
Yeah bro explained it perfectly. Context matters it’s fluid depending on your league.
JJ at 1.06 ladd at 2.06 polk at 3.06. Wasnt sure at first but this video made me feel better about the value
The best dynasty creators = you guys! Keep killing it
Big love!!
Love the notes/stats on 1st round historical hit rate data…I’d be curious to see what the hit rate is for teams that TRADED UP to get the guy they wanted relative to their projection (Ladd and Malachai)
*Jets supposedly tried to move up two rounds to get Corley.
Kimani Vidal is going to find himself in third rounds within weeks everywhere. Easily my fav 4th+ round dart throw - Troy’s highest rusher in school history, capable pass blocker, can handle the load. I also believe he was actually a 5/6 round pick, not 7th. Great vid boys!
2 drafts today didn't make it into the 4th. Good luck man shit is rough out there.
🔥📈👀
I’m in a 12-man 1QB dynasty league. I snagged Jayden Daniels at the 1.11. Currently at the 2.8 and Drake Maye, JJ McCarthy, Bo Nix, Michael Penix, Ja’Lynn Polk, and Jermaine Burton are all still available. I have pick 2.11, who should I lean towards?
I think an underrated part of this draft is gonna be qbs sliding with how many were drafted high when you have people with 4-5 top 10 picks in your league
You mean qbs being overdrafted just like the nfl draft, there are 3 1st round picks of vslue anyone else other than williams ,maye or daniels and u will regret ur pick 100% still most likely one of those bust as well ....there's a 60% chance if u take a qb in the 1st it will be bust within 4 years, make sure u tske someone u have a strong conviction about, don't be like a nfl team and take one cause u don't have one and in the same situation next year
@@philcapenmsgamingsports someone say might have 1.01/3/5/7 and only takes 1 qb in Williams then goes Nabers Odunze Bowers
Maye would be @1.06 (value)
Jj 1.08 also I think a value
This is what I was meaning tho
Big thing for me is I genuinely think Jacobs is a bad running back. He just handles big workloads but he's not a special player. Jacobs could just hit a dalvin cook or Ezekiel Elliott wall and get soured on quickly.
What did the data show from difference in hit rate from QB in top 10 vs 10-20?
How does Bowers' value change if Sleeper allows you to start him at WR/TE? Such as Taysum Hill that can be QB/TE. Las Vegas has already stated that they plan to use him as a hybrid TE/WR player.
Ranking maybe WR2 types over bowers is crazy. Even in non TE premium, the edge you get from an elite TE versus a dime a dozen top 24-36 WR is huge
I had the 1.03/05/2.06/07/3.01/07 and got Daniels/Maye/Penix/Benson/Corum/Baker. What do you guys think about this draft for me?
hope you got those Zyns and Afrin ☀I Have pick 1.03, 13, and 16. Excited for the Daniels take!
Love Daniels!!!
Troy Franklin reminds me of Dyami Brown...both outside guys who specialized as deep threats, but wasn't as fast as you thought they would be and both ended up with thier college QB in the pros.
Can respect the opinion! Don’t agree but can respect it :)
Rank my draft.
1st: Caleb, Odunze, Thomas Jr.(1,5,8, had 1.06 and traded it for Waddle)
2nd: Pearsall, Legette, Lloyd(5,6,12)
3rd: Wright, McMillan(6,12)
I have the 1.06 and 2.03 and if I can't trade back i'll probably go best qb available at the 1.06 (Even tho I really think Ladd is going to be good) and then like a Coleman or AD at 2.03. Thats a win for me
I have the 1.06 and the 1.10 first round 2.03 2nd round should I g QB, WR, WR, or WR, QB WR or QB, WR, RB, if so I was thinking Ricky, Coleman, Tory, worthy, or brain Thomas, QB choose is JJ or should I get Jordan Travis and have him sit in my taxi till he plays in new York?!
Is it smart to double tap polk and baker or should i pick my guy and use the 3rd on corely or something
I’d do it depending on the board. Both guys will get opportunities
Can't wait for my trip to Dart Thow City!!
Same here!
Y'all are forgetting how much preseason ADP matters for TE and WR post season value. It was only few years ago that Pitts was valued higher than most WR in the draft. It's the same reason that we value JSN highly eventhough he missed in his rookie season. When your ADP is high before the season it doesn't take as big of a hit when you miss.
If Pitts did what LaPorta did his rookie year he would be valued more than WRs of similar range. It's not the position it's the predraft value.
If Bowers hits like LaPorta did he will be valued higher than Worthy, Ladd, and BTJ.
Correct me if we are wrong but the ADP and hype of Pitts that year doesn't feel anywhere near Bowers. The Pitts hypetrain/adp was uncontrollable 🙏
I agree overall but still think he should be in the tier above, you have to factor how likely it is that someone is going to reach that ceiling, the best TE prospect maybe ever reaching the TE ceiling vs a good WR prospect but not top tier like nabers or odunze reaching the WR ceiling. Neither are guaranteed but bowers is more likely and his ceiling will be that of WR 8 or 9 which is hard for those solid WRs to get to
I know it was probably a long day but chuckled when you said Chris Godwin is going to be a undrafted free agent after this year 32:10
My 3rd straight day watching this video as my rookie draft crawls forward. I'll probably be back again tomorrow 😂
The Raiders drafting Bowers was awful. I refuse to spend the 1.07 or 1.08 even in my TE premium (1.5) league.
Sean McVay doesn't care about athletisim he just wants a back he can trust and get the job done. Frank Gore is probably his favorite RB of all time 😂
Yeah, I’m placing my dynasty bets on a day 2 National Championship Big Ten RB 💪😤
…over a day 3 RB on an overrated Notre Dame team playing a cupcake schedule every year. 📉🧁
I'm still taking Bowers 1.04 in my 14 team 1QB TEP (0.5). There is a path to #1 option within 2 years in that offense and his talent is simply too good. I'm gonna take the risk he just becomes the slot there (Minshew likes the slot). I'm also deep at WR and Mayer and Hurst as my only TE.
I completely see why people are dropping him though. It's just a preference thing
12 Team SF..Should I trade 1.02 for 1.03 & Etienne?
AD at 25 is crazy
Here is something crazy: Human teeth are the only part of the body that can’t heal themselves.
@@DynastyLandFootball Sean Payton is gonna pull his hair out watching Troy Franklin get separated from the ball every time he gets a pass over the middle.
The Ladd over Brian Thomas would be interesting tho, I was just talking about that. Thomas is hands down the better prospect in my opinion but since I got multiple leagues ima take a shot on reaching on Ladd just cuz I’m a Chargers fan😂
Love the bowers take. Can’t agree on taking a handcuff RB over 1st round WRs and almost first rounder to a good spot in Keon.
We don't see any RB that we have taken over those WRs as handcuffs :)
Single QB - take C Williams at 1.08 or trade for 2.01 & 3.01?
Would yall drop bo melton/slayton for any of the round 3/4 players in rookie drafts?
Also dulcich?
where would you have Bowers in te premium?
I think you guys are a little low on Ben Sinnott. I don't think he'll fall out of the 2nd, but I know you guys have no TE premium. I just see a lot of upside coming into an offense with a rookie QB and a (probably) washed RB in Ekeler. He's going to get some volume.
In TEP, he’d definitely be higher no doubt 🙏🏼
Draft started this AM. 4.28.24
Took Odunze at 1.05.
Traded back into 1st, giving up 2.07, 2.10, 3.01.
1.09 took LADD The Space Creator
We livin’
Who are you playing with that says yes to that trade and how can I join?
@@MaadhatsOnTwitchthis is a deep class bud. You can get some studs with those picks. Put it in keep/trade/cut…you’ll be surprised.
I can send u link to league tho. We like easy money. 😘
@@TheRuger31 I'll be robbing ya'll blind then that was a terrible trade for him
Took Brock bowers 1.06 post draft but I’m in a 14 man 2 PPR TE premium so…
I have 1.02 and 1.04 in a 2QB league with TE premium. It was an orphan team I inherited 2 years ago with big needs at RB and reciever. My rbs are James Cook and Pollard with no other guys on my bench I’m comfortable with spot starting. Receivers are Addison, Rashee Rice, Jamo, Kirk, Bateman, and Mooney. QBs are Mahomes, Goff, and Young. MHJ will most likely go 1.01 and there are a few people that are probably willing to trade up for Caleb. Should I look to trade 1.02 for a mix of good rbs or receivers or do I stick and pick with Caleb and then try to trade 1.04
And shakir*
Could also try and trade up to 1.01 to secure MHJ, not sure yet
Great vid. Agreee on bowers. Yall know imma have to go for my guy and say that pearsall will be better than Ladd. I think there is a reason the niners took him so high outta no where. But maybe I’m being a homer lol.
i can respect that take for sure!!
Should I trade the 1.7 in my upcoming dynasty rookie draft for Tua? Solid team except for QB. Only QB is Fields.
Where does Bowers go in a SF 10 man 2pt TE premium?
Would you take DRAKE or JJ Mccarthy over Nabers in SF? I’m rebuilding, so who would I take?
The only players I have is Stroud, DJ Moore, and Tee
There's been a few 7th round hits in recent years ... Purdy... Pacheco
I was speaking about Brenden Rice in that portion of the video, specifically referring to Round 7 NFL WR Hit Rates
@@DynastyLandFootball okie dokie if you say so
you can go back and listen if you want to double check me 😂
Ok second comment but agree on Troy as well I loved his landing spot. If he would’ve gone in the 3rd he would be in the top 15 convo
YKB my friend
I got marvin 1.01 and ladd at 1.10 in my 1QB league, I'm excited
W
How was Ladd available in 1QB at the 1.10? you got a biiiig W
@@stevenharkey5256 there were a couple teams with the middle first round picks that were really down bad for RBs so both brooks and benson went ahead of Ladd
I kind of see Corum as the Charbonet of last year.
LFG!! 🔥🔥
Why do you have Pearsall over Coleman? I know you said you were not high on Coleman as a prospect, but I think majority of people think Coleman is a better prospect than Pearsall. Pearsall is also headed to a loaded receiver room (assuming Aiyuk and Deebo are not traded) and he is three years older than Coleman. He was also only drafted 2 spots higher. Just curious about your take on that.
Had Pearsall > Coleman from December to now. Most of the people I trust in the industry had the same, including Matt Harmon 🙂
Need the non super flex now!
My 1.07 in 1qb just became so much more valuable!
🎶 I’ve been waiting my whooole life, for this one post 🎶
love!
In a 1QB 10 man league, where should QBs be going?
Every league is gonna be a bit different but probably 12-14th off the board imo
Landing spots jacked up a lot of the plans I had with my 5 out of top 8 picks I had. Already traded the 1.05 for the 2025 1.01(HORRIBLE team).
Risk reward there, let’s hope that’s the 1.01!
@@DynastyLandFootball keeping my fingers crossed.
Any 1 qb league rankings?
I'm surprised Vidal was so low tbh.. what do yall think about his path to possibly take over the Chargers backfield?
Is Caleb still the 1.01 in a 10 team start 10 SF full ppr
I agree with how context matters, but in TE Premium Leagues I don’t understand how Bowers has fallen so far. I’ve seen him go 1.10-1.12 in some mocks. Let’s be real, he’s basically a WR. He’s already the second best pass catcher on the team, and in another year or so he’ll probably be the best option there. They’ll get a QB at some point, but if you think for one second that Mayer is gonna keep the TE1 spot in LV over Bowers and that O’Connell won’t target Bowers early, you’re doing yourself a disservice. The Raiders used their first round pick on him. They’ve got a plan for him.
Yeah I hear ya, we mentioned that in these rankings, they are not TEP. Bowers would be higher depending on your premium.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but it wasnt a decade ago that Purdy went in the 7th round and has definitely been fantasy relevant.
When talking about Brenden Rice, I was specifically talking about the hit rate of R7 WRs. Not all positions :)
@@DynastyLandFootball that checks out then!
Pacheco is another 7th round hit as well
You know how many CBs were drafted out of the PAC12 the last two years? 5-two of them played at Oregon, the other 3 were taken in the 3rd, 5th, and 7th round.
I'm saying this bc when YPRR gets thrown in our face about a WR who played in a spread offense against DBs who can't cover, it's pretty easy to inflate those kinds of stats. It's not gonna be all open space in the NFL.
Buyer beware with a guy like Franklin, who the NFL is telling you is likely destined to be a role player.
its funny that we use these metrics to give every player an even playing field but we are also now using the metrics to devalue the player. fair enough ! :)
kimani Vidal needs to be more respected dude is a beast
Please please stop sleeping on Jaylen Wright. Perfect landing spot. Hes going to ball out on little touches just like Achane and then when Mosterts gone the literal sky is the limit for a 21 yo rb in dynasty. Mosterts old a hewwwl.
Not that Dontayvion Wicks is terrible relevant but I could see Jalen Coker being this years Dontayvion Wicks.
Think the Vikings trying to give 3 firsts to get Drake instead of JJ tells a lot about them as prospects
Regardless, TEs are undervalued. I’m going to take a guy who has the best chance of being an elite positional player and trading for my WR. Plenty more chances to trade for a WR. In competitive leagues, with a competitive team, give me the TE.
Love the content, you guys keep doing your thing and don't worry about disgruntled people who hide behind a screen in the comments lol
That’s big love! Appreciate you
What is it going to take for you guys start putting respect on Keon Coleman's name, he landed in the best landing spot possible attached to Josh Allen who stated that Keon was the only wr he wanted to pass to in this draft class. 2.08 is so low for the WR1 in Buffalo aka Stefon Diggs 2.0 😎😎
QJ 2024
Would you still take Rome Odunze if you already have Dj Moore?
Coleman was the guy Josh Allen said he wanted to play with above all the rest
nice!
Nabers is great but with Daniel Jones as the QB I would drop him a tier. I would seriously consider JJ or Rome at 1 04.
Nabers is about to get a 26-30% Target share tho my friend
@@DynastyLandFootball I understand that but it’s hard to trust anything on the giants offense. Hyatt didn’t even get a chance last season, yes Nabers is a better player but the QB situation will cap his ceiling. Are you confident he’ll be a 1,000 yard WR with Jones ?
I am confident that he will see 130+ targets, we weren't in on Hyatt last year because we felt he was a very limited player but Nabers is that All-Star type beat
Honestly I agree with 48/50 rankings, but as someone who watches the SEC Bo Nix being at 8 and Bowers at 14 is absolutely madness. Bo Nix was abysmal at Auburn. The Pac 12 does not play defense of course he’s going to look good… as you all say context matters.
We just prefer to judge the player based on their most recent film and progression as well as what the NFL decided he was worth :)
Adonai or Downs? Value decrease for Downs? 🤔
Franklin or Sutton? Value decrease for Sutton? Or increase with Nix? 🤷♂️
Franklin’s picture to success is clearer for us of those 2 situations
As a Kyren Williams owner, Corum does not worry me. I expected the rams to add to the RB room. Williams played 12 games last year and then he broke his hand in the wildcard round. The year before he broke his foot in week one. It's hard to win playoff games without a consistent run game. With that being said I could see Williams still being fantasy relevant next year, just don't expect RB1 levels of production. As much as I hate to say this..Hero RB is dead..
Adonai at 25!? 😂
What are your expectations for AD Year 1 in the Indy offense lead by ARich? Considering he's going to be the #2 at best behind Pittman.
Bowers is going 1.03 in my league lol. TEP .75 but the guy at 1.03 only has one first round pick and his only other tight end is Jonnu smith haha
thats crazy
Theo Johnson is a guaranteed hit in your dart throw category. I also like the Rattler handcuff as a Carr holder (my QB 3 behind Daniels and *fingers crossed* DeShaun Watson)
I feel like I'm screwed at 1.09. Someone make me feel better
not screwed, plenty of good options!
Bowers might give a 6-8 point positional advantage even in non TE premium, I hope he falls to me at 10
6-8 per game? If you believe that, he should be your 1.01 my friend 🫡
@@DynastyLandFootball that’s a big might, he has Kelce upside who has been able to do that for a number of years
Zach keeps saying “undrafted free agent” and I think you mean unrestricted free agent.
You right you right
Didn't Brock Purdy go in 7th round?
I was referring to WRs specifically
Purdy was a 7th round pick that hit this decade, yeah?
Pacheco too
The portion of the video you are referring to is when I am talking about Brenden Rice. In that moment, I am talking about Round 7 WR hit rates. Not every position.
With that logic on Nix tho....you should have Penix ranked way higher. "Hit rates for 1st round qb's" and bla bla bla. Well Penix was drafted 4 picks before Nix. So if you're going to have "what are you talking about" arguments, then keep that same energy no matter who the player is.
What's funny is that I have Nix ranked at 9, Bowers at 12, and Penix at 20. So we're close to being on the same page, but my argument is much different than yours.
Nix starts Day 1, of course that context matters. Everyone else is complaining that I have Penix too high and here we go the opposite way. RUclips comment section always finding something to be upset about 😂
"there hasn't been a 7th round pick hit in the last decade"
Did Brock Purdy die?
I was specifically talking about Brenden Rice in that moment, referring to WR R7 hit rates.
We have .5 te prem and everyone in my league acts like it’s 3pt prem
hahaha love it!
someone took bowers 4th in my league pushed nabers to me
That’s wild, what was the premium?
How can you have Rome alone in a Tier with Bo Nix
in a SFLX League, why should they not be considering their Draft Capital?
Zach Evans dead now after that Corum pickup I fear 😔
definitely
All of my picks for last year died, I got Q. Jonson, Michael Myer, Zach Evans, and Strange🥲
Uhh Purdy was a 7th round pick
I was talking about Brenden Rice when I discussed 7th Round Hit Rates, I was specifically talking about WRs.
I don’t get the worthy hype. Fast, sure but he’s really tiny and went to a team that spreads the ball a lot and has a big fail at WRs lately. I’ll let someone else fall on that gamble.
AD is a starting X day 1 and won't come off the field in any passing situation. Regardless of your individual grade, that's much more valuable than these guys who are competing for WR3 rotation roles.
Bro he’s gonna be ARs 3rd read
@@NK-vw4ms He plays X receiver. It's not about "read" it's about a role in the offense. Alec Pierce has held that role and couldn't separate, AD is taking his job. He won't come off the field in any passing sets.
@@CJStew06 I will be very surprised if AD even makes top 30 WR's from a fantasy perspective.
@@NK-vw4ms I think he's closer to George Pickens than Alec Pierce. You don't have to draft him if you think he sucks, but Indy has had a void in their offense that AD is going to fill. It doesn't make sense to compare him to Pittman and Downs when they play different positions. It's like comparing a power forward to a shooting guard.
Do your thing man! We can't see the volume but fair enough :)
Everyone sleeping on JOHNNY WILSON to the Eagles. He's 2" taller, 20 lbs heavier, yet same 40 time as Mike Evans. Think about that. J.W was better than Keon Coleman for half the games at FSU (I watched every game). J.W was ranked a top5 Draft day WR prior to the 2023 season, but his stock fell off. I guess due to some drops? He's an absolute beast and not even if your top50. SMH!!!
Wouldn't be in my Top 60 unfortunately. We've been way lower on Johnny than consensus throughout the process. If he transitions to TE, we would be more interested :)
Nah, he runs by dudes on the outside with ease, makes contested catches, and will be a redzone weapon. He's better than AT Perry
@@DynastyLandFootball Howie Roseman is the best GM in the NFL and I'm a diehard Giants fan. I think Johnny Wilson is in the perfect landing spot. You prolly need to go back and pull the tapes cause he too big for these NFL CBs to cover with his size/speed combo
we watch 3 all-22 games on every prospect during our pre-draft process :)
@@DynastyLandFootball Watch his 2022. 27 of 44 catches 15+ yards. Contested catches too unlike Troy "snowflake" Franklin. Johnny Wilson is a top10 WR in this class. Bigger, faster Alvin Harper. This ain't no Ramses Barden
Way overthinking the TE designation. Bowers will go down as one of your guys biggest misses. Just insanely low on one of the best college prospects of all time that went 13th overall in the NFL draft. What you guys are doing is the definition of over thinking it.
The argunent that TEs cant be highly valuable in dynasty from a liquidity standpoint was just proven wrong by Laporta last year. (Look where hes going in startups). Bowers can be even better.
I don’t have Kyren Williams, but Blake Corrum isn’t worth a 2nd rounder in this dynasty class. Best case scenario, Corrum gets 30% of the touches. After that, he is a handcuff to a Kyren injury
Can respect the take!
