Yw i also hate it when i has Samsung its android 5.. To run that (repetitouch) app i rooted my device. To device it take me around 3.4 days to find proper files for root.

But you need find ( proper) flash file for your device Or device may get bricked (dead) If anyway you possible to install twrp Then you need find proper supersu.zip to flash if You'll find that. Then your device will be rooted. I lose device many times but its Samsung thats y In Samsung can easily abel to do flash firmwares. By odin tool.
