I think we are too obsessed about the economy crashing. In the right sense, the economy never crashes. It just undergoes cycles, and almost always recovers. So I really don't care what the predictions are. I just want to grow my portfolio. I read that people are pulling in massive profits despite the downturn. Any tips on how they do it?
I think it's the professionals and those who use their services that are really pulling in the big money right now. There are really advisors that can help you achieve very consistent growth. I have a friend who pulled in more than $94k profit within three months. So you just have to make some research and get one who fits your fin-goal.
The market will always recover. The goal is to find quality stocks with long term potential. It's hard for the average Joe to do this, because it involves following a lot of industry news, following up with earnings, etc. It's easier to invest through an advisor who knows how stuff works, and make rocket returns.
Investing in quality stocks with long-term potential is a good strategy, but it can be challenging for the average person to do this on their own. Keeping up with industry news and earnings can be time-consuming and difficult. That's why it's easier to work with an advisor who can help you make informed decisions and potentially achieve high returns.

What is money? 8th grade teacher gave lesson that it is simply the transfer of value and unless you are an economics major it is not taught in public education. Thanks for this Hudson is awesome. I learned something new for a change. So insightful this needs more exposure and media coverage.
His interpretation of history is interesting. He uses the example of the scythe to talk about egalitarianism and limiting the power of the 1%. Aristotle uses that same example to talk about how tyrants (who are the most powerful members of the 1%) can keep power against democratic or oligarchic insurrections.
I've been trying to understand economics the last couple years, and I really like Michael Hudsons work. Also reading David Graeber's Debt: The First 5,000 Years. And lots of marxist things showing so many holes in the mainstream economics/pro capitalism explanations of how an economy works. And one major theme I'm seeing in my reading, is that a lot of the foundations of economics are non-scientific Just-So Stories like what you'd see from a the bad kind of evolutionary biologist. And they're justified by cherry picking the occasions where they work on in favor of the theory and ignore all the situations where the explanations don't match reality.
Good point. Something shocking I saw was Hitler speech translated by AI. Insane to ever agree with Hitler, but.... People should never be told the anti social concept of hoarding money which causes inflation.
Thank you for such an interesting brief history of economic systems and debt. Please don’t stop, what you do is very important in a society that has such a lack of knowledge, of history, of foundation. And I agree what the world is facing is a civilizational change. For a multipolar, pluricentric, pluri civilizational world
As always, this man is a treasure: experience, wisdom, humor, and integrity all rolled into one package. Given the state of debt and the people who think they will benefit from its continuance, there doesn't seem to be a way out. The obligations can only skyrocket. Any wobble, to say nothing of collapse, at this point will show the folly of our ways as populism and totalitarianism try to hold things together. As the natural world, the source of all wealth, fights back against our predations, be ready to see the shit really hit the fan.

thanks for tuning in :)
Truly an enlightening and eye-opening conversation with @ProfHudson. Thank you @RobinsonErhardt for this talk. Please continue to bring such enlightening topics to the fore to enable us to know the malaise that afflicts us today, and if we don't course-correct then where we are headed as a country and society. Thank you!
thank you so much for watching!
@@robinsonerhardt Btw, you're a good host allowing the guest to formulate their entire thought and lay it out from the cause to the effect without interruptions. Thank you and keep it up! 🙏
Great episode. You’re killing it dude!
thanks so much!!!
I really love listening to the Prof. He makes clear some very difficult concepts, but most of all, he makes it interesting.
Which concepts would those be?
Thanks!
Thank you!!!
What Hudson says at the end is close to Zizek's views on government policies of public well being and reducing the cost of living.
the colab we've been waiting for
@@robinsonerhardtplease!!!
Thanks
Hudson is so honest and real! What a fresh breeze of air in this world of lies! It’s obvious we could have a planet of peace and happiness but the evil is so real!
Michael "Breezy" Hudson
Go BRICS!
Mr. Hudson that was an awesome summation. Much respect to you. You are a diamond in the rough in my view. Keep doing what you're doing.❤
10 minutes in, this man is getting straight to the point! Very similar to chomsky's critique of neoliberalism so far, from what I can tell, good stuff robinson!
thank you!!
Chomsky is a clown.
Hudson is not.
Great Hudson!! The greatest honest economist on earth!! Only two of his works have been translated into Italian but that was enough for me to understand who he was!!
Michael Hudson is, hands down, the world's greatest living economist.
Mr Hudson is a gentleman and a scholar. I usually dont like before watching. But I am probably justified in doing so.
hahaha i appreciate that
Great job Robinson.@ your work on formulating the questions.
thank you! that's so nice to hear.
This brilliant man worth his weight in Gold.
And more
Great interview. Always something to learn from the deeply knowledgeable Michael Hudson.
Thanks for this, brilliant jewels of knowledge and learning from Michael, as ever.✔
Glad you enjoyed it!
It's refreshing to hear somebody speak about the truth.
War, conflict, and debt are constructs for wealth transfer. Who benefits? Hint - the Bank of England was founded in 1694. Thank you Michael Hudson for your insight, understanding, and objective truthful awareness.
Takk!
Thanks!
We’re in a space age renaissance. What a time to be alive and here to hear Dr Hudson!
Amazing interview, thank you for having Michael Hudson on the podcast.
I’ve been saying this for a long time: if we had a single payer healthcare system we would have a more competitive labor force that has better health and no medical bankruptcies.
It was the major argument when Quebec got it's single payer healthcare.
But it slowly turned into a big whatsname for corp. profits
Then just go further in support of land reform
I dont see it working. Already today its resulting in coporate run healthcare .
First you would need an actual healthcare system...what exists now is the "leading cause of death"...
and you want everyone to have access to it?
A free excellent education! Probably available nowhere else. Thank you, Professor Hudson and Mr.Erhardt.
Great Michael Hudson! Thanks Robinson
Millenial American-Canadian here who studied Politics and Economics on the West Coast. I would love to hear about Professor Hudson’s work with what I assume was the Pierre Elliot Trudeau government in the 70’s and early 80’s sometime. An interesting era in Canadian economic history! I’m loving this podcast! Wish I was on Apple podcasts to give you that 5 star rating champ!
Hudson is amazing. I recommend his website which contains transcripts of a lot of podcasts he does. Rough transcriptions sometimes but usually very informative.
So good.
Thanks for this interview (lecture).
Glad you enjoyed it!
This was great! Thank you for hosting and sharing with everyone

Economist Michael Hudson is a parragon of wisdom.
"Wonder leaves enlightened minds, when ignorance no longer blinds." Bk 4: Section V, and Song V: Wonder and Ignorance The Consolation of Philosophy by Anicius Manlius Severinus Boethius (c. 480 - 525)
"If Plato's teaching errest not, we learn but that we have forgot." Bk 3: Section XI, and Song XI: Reminiscence The Consolation of Philosophy by Anicius Manlius Severinus Boethius (c. 480 - 525)
Thank you! Nice to see Professor Hudson relaxing with a cool drink!
I could listen to Michael Hudson all day.
Shocked you wormed him out of his room! Thank you for facilitating this interview.
Great interview! Absolutely amazing! Thank you!
Very, very interesting!! Thanks for interviewing this man!
Wonderful discussion! Imagine if the education system and media were as interested in educating people as the two of you.
Brilliantly helpful! Love Michael. He's an International Treasure❤
Big love, Mr. Robinson Erhardt.
I love listening to Michael Hudson. He is an Amazing person.
Always fascinating listening to Michael Hudson.
I'm glad you found this!
Good point. Something shocking I saw was Hitler speech translated by AI. Insane to ever agree with Hitler, but.... People should never be told the anti social concept of hoarding money which causes inflation.
Well done Robinson, greatly appreciated!
Thank you for such an interesting brief history of economic systems and debt. Please don’t stop, what you do is very important in a society that has such a lack of knowledge, of history, of foundation. And I agree what the world is facing is a civilizational change. For a multipolar, pluricentric, pluri civilizational world
Great and thought-provoking feature. Thank you.
FIRST TIME TO SEE THIS SHOW! MY FRIEND WAS RIGHT AND THIS SHOW IS GREAT! WILL BE WATCHING IT NOW!
Freedom's just another word for nothing left to lose . Janice Joplin .
This is outstanding
Michael is a Genius
Refreshing to listen too

Caesar would be impressed.
We're using his Playbook.
Thank you.
