Great to see. We visited US in 2007 and saw the beast in Baltimore and travelled Cumberland to Frostburg behind 'Mountain Thunder' Never thought the allegheny would be in steam again. A rival to the Big Boy!

Technically, she is not an Allegheny. Alleghenys have a 2-6-6-6 wheel arrangement. This one is a 2-6-6-2. Though I don’t blame you for the mistake. They do share similar smokebox front designs.

Nice to see it running and right now it is the largest operating Steam Loco in the world since the 4014 is in the round house at this time.

Fabulous loco. Fantastic project 👍👍👍. To accomplish that in seven years is good going!
    Richard Trevithick would be thrilled.
I never knew these locos took top air through the firebox sides. How about that?
American steam is so fabulous it would bankrupt the English language to describe it.
