I really agree with your mentality of an aggressive DMR, you need to stay far enough back to provide support but still need to be close enough to the front line to scout around and provide intel on your opponents position .
DM's are riflemen first, marksmen second. Moving with your fireteam or squad is exactly the right thing to do with an SR-25-style weapon like you have there. Very nice.
when im playing as a DM I like to post up at a stronghold (if its is going to be attacked) or a choke point and hold key points down as my team puts down fire so I can take out the enemy one by one
Kaiden Ollenberger its called a tactical universal clip. It's a thing that clips to your belt and then there is a piece that comes with it that clips to your gun.
5:17 also another idea instead of just carrying a pistol for people who get to close, in the military the snipers have spotters, have someone with you that can spot for you and take out people who get to close
My sniper build is essentially a gillie suit, a dan and Wesson 8" revolver, and an upgraded ctac l96. Since the woods that I play in is divided into sub fields with a built town, a log fort, and a d day scenario, I can hang out in the bushes or in a sniper tower and report enemy positions, or I can play aggressively in a direct attack. Sniping in airsoft can be hard, but its so rewarding to get a long range kill.
Im also building a dmr from ground up with an elite force m4 cqb suprisingly. It shot 345 fps out of the box but just from a new inner barrel it shoots 410. Im exited for the build and know it will cost a lot haha
Cool loadout Daniel! Your gun looks great and I'm sure it shoots well. My son and I are building his M16 to be a DMR as well. Next comes the M140 spring and torque motor and maybe a R hop in the 6.02 x 509mm TBB already installed. Also, Love the ATACs FG! Do you sell the Propper pants at ASGI? I have the Propper ATACs FG battle shirt, but after seeing your load out, I think I wouldn't mind those pants to complete my load out. That camo will be perfect for that operation. ATACs FG in a woodland, mostly green environment is almost unfair. It works perfectly! Maybe get a ATACs FG boonie hat and you're all set!
You are so proud to go on about 7 mins of your idea of airsoft. I can only imagine how much time it took to edit your own video of yourself going on about yourself. Meanwhile, the guy with the rental gear shot you first.
Nice loadout! I'm very interested to hear the BB weight you're using with that DMR and your max effective range. I'd also like to know the range you're shooting at the beginning of the video (sorry if any of this was stated and I managed to miss it). I've gotten into DMR builds lately and would love to compare the performance I get with others. :)
I will usually use .40g bbs in this gun. At the beginning of the video the range was around 60 yards. Here's one of the further shots made with this gun, Airsoft Sniper Shot - Airsoft GI Uncut.
My only suggestion is that the vertical grip be moved further forward on the rail. If it's that far back there isn't a big difference between the grip and just holding the magazine well.
I play DMR for my team but instead of a vest, i went for a bandolier that holds 5 AK mags, 3 mini uzi mags, a "pipe bomb", (home made grenade, usually classified as stronger than a thunder B) and my knife. The reason i use a mini uzi is because if my team goes into a building, i want to have a nice CQB weapon that may see some use for a primary. Add a back pack and im ready for any op. so if you want more aggressive and more mobile, beat that But very helpful, thank you
I'm going to be a normal sniper (L96) but a tactical one, wearing no ghillie but a small DPM plate carrier and a secondary of a 6 inch revolver, awesome vid
When he Started Talking about his KWA Mark II why did it pan a long slow stride of the Sniper Rifle??? He was talking about his Pistol, it should have stayed on the pistol...
Since you'll be in VA you should check out Grab Some Fun in Piney Flats, TN. Its only 30min from the State line and has a good Outdoor and Indoor field. Outdoor is my personal favorite with 80 acres.
It's the Tactical Universal Clip or TUC. Check it out here: www.airsoftgi.com/advanced_search_result.php?keywords=tactical+universal+clip&inc_subcat=&categories_id=&x=0&y=0&inc_subcat=1
I've used a holster set up like that in the dirt of Virginia not a great idea if you plan on going low. I have run a serpa like that for cqb for a couple years but you really are better off having it on a belt preferabley in a flap holster. Diving side arm first into the dirt doesn't help it work
i like that load out a lot. I usually go for the bolt action, in the weeds and in deep camo, and just popping people off as I see them. But I'm sure yours is much better haha.
cough cough notice hat cough cough, and that dose not necessarily represent what he will be wearing that day as in clothing, he probably came to work wearing normal clothes and just threw on his gear
I've always wanted to run a dmr, but I didn't want to run an m16, since my field weapon for mid ranges would be an m4 and an indoor gun a pdw, so I wanted to change it up a bit. An m14 would be good, but the FAL just appeals to my eye as a dmr. Idk why, but i think it'd be cool to use on the field when everyone is running around with an m4 while I have the gun that went up against itself in the British-Argentinian war. Interesting gun.
Play the role like snake on ground zeros. Have two rifles, the dmr and a pdw with a side arm in a drop leg holster. Helmet n goggles with an underarmor tactical hood. A simple tact vest and a simple urban bdu suit
+Airsoft & Milsim discussions~tips~tricks Honestly : The best airsoft videos are those based upon the fundamental concepts & tactics. The gear may change, but everything else always applies in some way.
+Airsoft & Milsim discussions~tips~tricks Completely agreed w/ Daniel. DM~S (designated marksman~sniper : or forward sniper) is a much more fun & active way to participate & play the role.
To many patches. And I'd rock a split chest rig on any DMR role with a specific camo catering to the AO. I like being able to ditch my vest and use it as a thing to rest my rifle on. Or be able to unzip it, part it, and get closer to the ground. All while still having a light weight set up that hold probably more mags then I need.
was wondering what that system is called that hooks your rifle to your vest...looks like a heavy duty cellphone sling hook...looking to get one for my marker :)
How warm are those condor gloves? I know temperature resistance varies from person to person but some of the materials look pretty thin. And you'll be playing in February.
Since when can 5.56mm caliber rifles be regarded as DMR? I know it's "only" airsoft gaming with 6mm but as far as I know real steel rifles can only be a DMR if they have 7.62mm caliber like the HK 417 (effective range of 7.62mm is far better than 5.56mm). Please correct me if I am wrong... but I also thought of the M16 as base for my upcoming DMR project. I'm just wondering if I can call it a DMR or rather a SPR... what do you think about it?
I'm curious, how do you plan on transporting your guns and gear from California to Virginia? Are you driving? because there is no way you can fly with that stuff lol.
We generally ship out our guns and gear a week or so before. You CAN fly with airsoft guns but different airliners have different rules and regulations so be sure to do your research before hand and follow them completely.
Huh you say no way they get that gun to there by air xD I got a G36KV by umarex and Scorpion vs 61 took over here to Israel where Airsoft guns are illegal but the sport it self is legal,So please don't go like "How the Fu** are you going to get it by a plane"because I got my loadout like that.
I really agree with your mentality of an aggressive DMR, you need to stay far enough back to provide support but still need to be close enough to the front line to scout around and provide intel on your opponents position .
Oh the irony of wearing a "Breach and Clear" patch as a DM
I'm glad you caught the irony in that which I did on purpose. That, and that game is just waaaaaay too much fun.
Like in American Sniper when Chris Kyle signals his team to breach lol
That's ok, we didn't want to see the unsheathed pistol anyway -_-
DM's are riflemen first, marksmen second. Moving with your fireteam or squad is exactly the right thing to do with an SR-25-style weapon like you have there. Very nice.
that's is exactly how i play! i love being a DM but still being up in the action and picking those shots my team members can't
that gun is really cool looks like a MK11 MOD 0
THIS is how airsoft sniping should be
this set up looks sick especially with the camo
My sniper role is mostly adjusting to where my team is and the situation but also having a control point where barely anybody sees me
when im playing as a DM I like to post up at a stronghold (if its is going to be attacked) or a choke point and hold key points down as my team puts down fire so I can take out the enemy one by one
Airsoftgi would like to spank our sponsors
Nooby question here: What's the thing called that locks the DMR to your side? That looks so much better than slings getting in the way etc.
James Minzy I'm wondering the same thing.......
Kaiden Ollenberger its called a tactical universal clip. It's a thing that clips to your belt and then there is a piece that comes with it that clips to your gun.
I like the idea behind this load-out very versatile yet very aggressive too!
What's that awesome holster/holding thing for the rifle. been looking for somthing like that for my breacher shotgun
the FG camo and your set up really rock and look professional tyvm for your video.
AM I The only one that hears this as _really_ bad rap? xD
Awesome. Love loadouts like this.
Revision EXOshields require some small cuts in the foam/a bit of antifog to work without fogging.
Source: I own a pair.
2:00 talks about pistol, shows panning shot of rifle
You shorten the barrel to 450mm (or ak47 barrel length) you will have more range and accuracy
you look like pac in btf4
Needs the scarf
yeah lol his gun was good.
just kidding never used that shit
That's one of the best loadout I have seen in a long time.
nice ATACS camo
5:17 also another idea instead of just carrying a pistol for people who get to close, in the military the snipers have spotters, have someone with you that can spot for you and take out people who get to close
A great idea but many fields and events require that a sniper carry a secondary for the closer engagements otherwise I would likely only rock the DMR.
Im saying have a pistol but have a spotter with binoculars just to help spot
Otis Williams Nobody wants to have to do that in an Op
Its not have to its want to, and there are people who will sit in one spot and hold a sniper im saying someone who would help their friend and spot
See! Thats a great idea
You guys should do a Lone Survivor inspired loadout. Boom!
My sniper build is essentially a gillie suit, a dan and Wesson 8" revolver, and an upgraded ctac l96. "Foilich?" Repeat after me: Fo-li-a-ge.

I always too the sniper/DMR roll in airsoft was as a scout, but you have a good idea with that concept
I'm gonna fly there for this event yesss!!!
You are so proud to go on about 7 mins of your idea of airsoft. I can only imagine how much time it took to edit your own video of yourself going on about yourself. Meanwhile, the guy with the rental gear shot you first.
Looks good man
Nice loadout! I'm very interested to hear the BB weight you're using with that DMR and your max effective range. Oh shit nice BnC patch! I've always wanted one!
Awesome kit, gets me pumped to get my mk12 tuned in and get playing with that
we need more loadout videos like this
I play DMR for my team but instead of a vest, i went for a bandolier that holds 5 AK mags, 3 mini uzi mags, a "pipe bomb", (home made grenade, usually classified as stronger than a thunder B) and my knife. But very helpful, thank you
Mini uzi is a very nice gun,I assume you use the gas version.
currect me if there is no electric one.
there are, but under 250 fps, and yes for close quarters, it doesnt get a lot better than that
Is that Guadalajara in your profile picture?
Diego Sheish High five, man! Yes! That is from Guadalajara, major props for knowing that
Thst's too much weight tbh
I'm going to be a normal sniper (L96) but a tactical one, wearing no ghillie but a small DPM plate carrier and a secondary of a 6 inch revolver, awesome vid
Also a side question as long as the bdu and pants are of the desginated camos can my vest be OD green?
Can't wait to play at X Zone again! I also can't wait to meet some of the other GI guys!
Not often you'll find a sniper with all of his kit attached to his front... But nice loadout nonetheless.
do a lone surviver loadout!!!!
Like the loadout
When he Started Talking about his KWA Mark II why did it pan a long slow stride of the Sniper Rifle??? He was talking about his Pistol, it should have stayed on the pistol...

"The miracle barrel is 900-" i was like "WHAT"
Is the KJW Full Metal M1911 Tactical GBB Airsoft Gun
A good sidearm? I just ordered it and it got great reviews!
I like this sniper role better than the waiting game
Very nice! I usually scout ahead or lock down an area if I'm sniping.
Just a quick question, how did you attach your gun to your tactical universal clip?
I like Daniel, he's not full of it like everyone else
Looks awesome daniel ive been wanting to build a dmr
Hi, I was wondering what is the thing you are holding your primairy weapon on
What is he using to attach the M16 to his vest?
It's the Tactical Universal Clip or TUC. Check it out here: www.airsoftgi.com/advanced_search_result.php?keywords=tactical+universal+clip&inc_subcat=&categories_id=&x=0&y=0&inc_subcat=1
dude you just got GI to answer your question... whoah
dude you just got GI to answer your question... whoah
dude you just got GI to answer your question... whoah
80 dollars for a peg?
That 1911 looks great!
You talk about everything you wearing but you don't talk about the sling adapter. Where did you get the sling adapter from?
Really awesome load out not a fan of DMR's but none the less awesome kit!
Funny seeing you here
Ahhh yes indeed XD
I've used a holster set up like that in the dirt of Virginia not a great idea if you plan on going low. I have run a serpa like that for cqb for a couple years but you really are better off having it on a belt preferabley in a flap holster. Diving side arm first into the dirt doesn't help it work

What holster is that
You haven't played on the East Coast lately. Its very cold. You might want to dress warmer.
cough cough notice hat cough cough, and that dose not necessarily represent what he will be wearing that day as in clothing, he probably came to work wearing normal clothes and just threw on his gear

Looks like a great load out. Would be awesome to have a video of it in action
I'm so glad that someone else is using my camouflage pattern. I thought I was the only one who had itLol
Love this. reminds me of my own loadout.
I'v been putting together a DMR sniping is really fun
Play the role like snake on ground zeros. Have two rifles, the dmr and a pdw with a side arm in a drop leg holster. Helmet n goggles with an underarmor tactical hood. A simple tact vest and a simple urban bdu suit
I use the same scope and it is great for the price point!
This rifle.. I would love to buid an equal to this
Where did you get the Breach & Clear patch? Nice load out. Please do BF4 recon loadout.
Where can I get those Springfield armory grips for my1911?¿!!
Where can I get one of those Breach & Clear patches? I'm a really big fan of that game.
talk about the handgun, cut to pan shot of rifle....but but I really wanted to see it.
Check out our Instagram, I'll put up some photos, instagram.com/airsoftgidotcom#
instagram.com/p/i7Ef77rKQ0/
Will you guys be making loadouts for Reclamation like you've done in the past ie: Operation Lion Claws and OP Irene?
Almost a year old, but this vid is still applicable {2 thumbs up}
+Airsoft & Milsim discussions~tips~tricks Honestly : The best airsoft videos are those based upon the fundamental concepts & tactics. The gear may change, but everything else always applies in some way.

Barrel far too long for Dmr

was wondering what that system is called that hooks your rifle to your vest...looks like a heavy duty cellphone sling hook...looking to get one for my marker :)
I like the looks of this set up. it sounds and looks very functional. i only have one question. what sling is the dmr on? i want one for my dmr.
There is no sling, I use the Tactical Universal Clip, or TUC. Find out more here:
www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.php?products_id=15291
Im thinking you should take a better pistol out that has double stacked mags so you have more ammo for last ditch situations
what are you using to mount your gun on the side of your molle? i really like the idea of that over a sling
Awesome guys, love your videos
Duuuuuude I was at this. I was on Bob's team. Not sure how I missed you
How warm are those condor gloves? I know temperature resistance varies from person to person but some of the materials look pretty thin. And you'll be playing in February.
They we're comfortable but you're right, they were more designed for protection than warmth. We'll see how they hold up on the East Cost in Feb.
Used the same gloves in 23 degree weather.. Was not fun! They offer basically zero protection from the cold sadly :c
Atacs fg, very nice choice
That ain't no kangaroo it is a double decker. I like the setup a fair bit. Maybe some different pouches, a sling, and a dump pouch worn lowerdown.
I love A-tacs
I am making a loadout similar to this because it is really coom
what kind of tactical sling is that for your gun...looking to get one ?? you have a link on where to get it
Which pistol holster are you using?
***** It is a Serpa holster.
Since when can 5.56mm caliber rifles be regarded as DMR? I like to use a m4 with a 2x by 6x scope miracle barrel and a grippod they are the best hings ever
Anyone know which barrel extension can be recessed into what kind or rail system? Like the one Daniel has in this video
where did you get that holster for your dmr? I want something like that to forget about slings :(
I like that holster for your primary what's that called?
I'm curious, how do you plan on transporting your guns and gear from California to Virginia? Are you driving? because there is no way you can fly with that stuff lol.
you can fly with airsoft guns aslong as they are in a hardcase, and locked to FAA standards. you must also check in with the airline before hand.
We generally ship out our guns and gear a week or so before. You CAN fly with airsoft guns but different airliners have different rules and regulations so be sure to do your research before hand and follow them completely.
Huh you say no way they get that gun to there by air xD

Antwon Jenkins The same way people fly with real firearms. In a locked and declared case that's checked by the tsa beforehand.
asthmaticrhino Actually I wad thinking of how do people bring guns from other countries.
I actually though they don't.
Ok thanks.
where can I buy a tactical universal clip? The places I looked at were too expensive. Where can I find it cheaper?
I just ordered the echo 1 sob m5k should I get the magpul vertical grip because of its compactness or the folding grip?
