remenber that the nazis win the WWII and that means that if we take in acount the failed "D day" as mentioned in "the old blood game" (by the way young blood is the 4th game, being old blood the 2nd after the reboot serving as a precuel of "new order"); indudable the soviet union is either in war with Japan alongside china while the US and Africa were in war with the nazis until the US fell and Africa continue the fight but we don´t know more after Blaskowicz blown the Gribalthar bridge..... and maybe we would not know nothing until this game or Wolfeinstein 3 about the soviet union or other nations.

If I'm not mistaken, the war in China ended at the beginning of the 50's. However, there were plenty of resistance pockets. For the USA, well, almost everyone - civvies and US Army - refused to surrender after the government hoistered the white flag. The resistance was so intense that it's only in the late 50's, when the Ausmerzer and reinforcements from China came, that the resistance was stopped. This left the Africa on it's own. However, they are far from finished : Bombate, before his capture, led several successful counterattacks. And in a letter, an Afrika Korps soldier complains about the sand damaging his hovertank. I love New Order, Old Blood was OK and New Colossus was a bit of a mess. I'll wait for reviews but I hope they improved the level design, enemy variety and encounters among other things because they were terrible in New Colossus, plus the ending felt abrupt.
I still liked New Colossus, but it was definitely a regression in terms of gameplay, particularly the level design. Hopefully Youngblood is able to better balance the gameplay and story beats.
I agree, New Colossus felt like they ran out of money mid development then rushed it to production. The game was a lot shorter than New Order and the story felt extremely jarring from a pacing standpoint. It got the gun play right but other mechanics such as (taking) damage indication fell way short.

I really doubt it. Though the Deluxe Edition will have a Buddy Pass allowing a friend to play it with you. Most games nowadays are too taxing on the hardware to run split screen.

Well, Wolfenstein is BJ's story. The world is secondary. Maybe if Wolfenstein II's DLC wasn't so mediocre, Bethesda might be convinced to make other playable characters. Then we can get Lyudmila Pavlichenko in her 60s sniping nazis in the snow.
remenber that the nazis win the WWII and that means that if we take in acount the failed "D day" as mentioned in "the old blood game" (by the way young blood is the 4th game, being old blood the 2nd after the reboot serving as a precuel of "new order"); indudable the soviet union is either in war with Japan alongside china while the US and Africa were in war with the nazis until the US fell and Africa continue the fight but we don´t know more after Blaskowicz blown the Gribalthar bridge..... and maybe we would not know nothing until this game or Wolfeinstein 3 about the soviet union or other nations.
Wolfestein is based on counting BJ's life under the reich,but still there are dlc's about the soviets in wolfestein 2.

@@claudiozero777 It's mentioned in TNO that the USSR surrendered and kicked Stalin because it was too much. China was on verge of defeating Japan when the Nazis attacked. If I'm not mistaken, the war in China ended at the beginning of the 50's. However, there were plenty of resistance pockets.
For the USA, well, almost everyone - civvies and US Army - refused to surrender after the government hoistered the white flag. The resistance was so intense that it's only in the late 50's, when the Ausmerzer and reinforcements from China came, that the resistance was stopped. This left the Africa on it's own.
However, they are far from finished : Bombate, before his capture, led several successful counterattacks. And in a letter, an Afrika Korps soldier complains about the sand damaging his hovertank. And, even though, they're not mentioned, I'm pretty sure that there are several remnants of the Free French Forces and other Allies forces fighting alongside the African troops. In fact, the situation in Africa is so fucked up that the Nazis are terraforming the desert to facilitate their troops movements, brainwashing the colonials in order to gain terrain and specifically built the Gibraltar Bridge for the war effort.
According to the wiki, the Nazis have withdrawn from Africa after the events of TNC. Not much is known about China or other places of the world, but it's clearly stated that they are loosing ground *everywhere.*
I'm not gonna lie, I hope for Wolfenstein 3, there will be a D-Day like mission. Example : Blazko prepares the invasion by sabotaging vital installations, and just for one mission, you get to play Fergus or Wyatt as you storm the beaches of Normandy.

I love New Order, Old Blood was OK and New Colossus was a bit of a mess.
I'll wait for reviews but I hope they improved the level design, enemy variety and encounters among other things because they were terrible in New Colossus, plus the ending felt abrupt.
I liked Old Blood better than you did apparently, but otherwise agree with your comment.
I still liked New Colossus, but it was definitely a regression in terms of gameplay, particularly the level design. Hopefully Youngblood is able to better balance the gameplay and story beats.
I liked New Order but it had 0 replayability thanks to all those unskippable cutscenes, Doom did it 10 times better.

I agree, New Colossus felt like they ran out of money mid development then rushed it to production. The game was a lot shorter than New Order and the story felt extremely jarring from a pacing standpoint. It got the gun play right but other mechanics such as (taking) damage indication fell way short.

Sham Paka I think that direction was the problem. Different from TNO, I didn't felt any sense of urgency nor did I take Nazis seriously, let alone a threat. Honestly, the story was just plain to me and the whole barn section was outright insulting.
