Manuka Wickramasinghe Shawn received hate on his old tweets he wrote before getting famous, like back in 2013. Some of them were insensitive, a tiny bit of them were racial too. But they’re both saying, people just liked to get back to them like to hold them to them & turn them down just to watch them fall. He’s been called boring because of his music style & his sense of performer like he has to stand to a standard & act completely out of his comfort zone like he should please everyone as if EVERYONE should have the same taste in music/entertainer like there’s no personal taste to everyone. People hate on every single relationship he has with a woman to like he shouldn’t follow his heart by standing to his fans standards without thinking about his own happiness. Then, this isn’t really related to hate, but I’m keeping the most disgusting thing for the end : people keep literally bullying him about his manners, his more feminine energy & his entire act by keeping an highly toxic masculin stereotype vibe judging his own sexuality by calling him gay & all others disgusting slangs related to that like they know him better than himself. He said multiple times he’s not gay, but people keeps that narrative going on a disgusting way like there’s no straight more feminine men in the world. Anyways, people are getting in his business that way because he’s in the limelight & he’s an « easy » target in the public eye. Justin & him have the same, but also different life pattern in the industry, as you can see. Thank to come to my Ted talk :)

Shawn played madison at 18 so i'm just saying the fame took a toll on them at different times. They were both kids but for Justin he blew up way too fast and since he came from nothing raised by a single mom for him it was like disney land yk like he had everything and toured the whole world by 17.
