Saw it at the movies in '95, I COULD NOT MOVE until after the credits were finished. It remains to this day among my absolute favourite movies of all time. I watch it every 12 months or so, and it still devastates me....
Ironically, Mindhunters was also a Fincher creation. But it wasn’t cancelled. Fincher wanted to pursue other projects and didn’t relinquish control, so it just ended.
It may be bold of me to say... But this is one of the best moves ever made, I consider it to be one of the few movies out there that didn't need to change anything about it
If you haven't seen the Brad Pitt films Fight Club and Snatch they'd be great reactions. They're from a few years after this film and two of my favorites
The biblical definition of sloth is like neglecting yourself your family or your property. Simply put it’s turning away from god. Victor (sloth) was raised southern Baptist but turned to crime, hence he committed the sin of sloth
The two officers overlapped by 7 days. Morgan Freeman's character retires in 7 days. There are 7 deadly sins. There are 7 punishments for sins. You follow 7 days of the week. Package was supposed to show up at 7pm. Brad Pitt is sin number 7.
The way you felt is almost like the way I did when I first saw this movie. I just had my one and only child and I couldn't sleep thinking about what I'd do in Detective Mills.
every time i see this movie, knowing what's coming, i struggle to take the moral high ground and want Mills to spare him. i have failed every single time. i'm not sure what that says about me as a person but i feel no guilt for it whatsoever.
I think I probably would have not shot him, because I hate when other people win, especially because of something I did but could have prevented. One of the few times being a hypercompetitive prick would be useful. EDIT: Oh, and living is a far worse punishment than dying.
"Seven" is a movie that will stick with you forever. Its a favorite of mine. I'd love to see you react to a few other favorites of mine: "Cube' (1997 sci-fi thriller/horror) and "Fallen" (1998 procedural/thriller staring Denzel Washington as a detective). Both are highly underrated IMHO. See you in the next vid!
@@inspectre27 He meant that John Doe's murders were not shown on screen. They are referenced, or the detectives are dealing with the aftermath. The only murder directly shown is Mills murdering John Doe.
Just found your channel. For future reference, the police Captain is played by R. Lee Ermey. He does fine here, but it's a small supporting role. I'd like to see you react to him in Full Metal Jacket.
That movie will shake you _down_. I was in a play in high school about Vietnam in which my character committed sewer slide via M-16 and the director had me watch that one scene with him many times and discuss assorted aspects of it. Scarred for life. 😅
Great classic spooky movie from the 80s with a great soundtrack is THE WRAITH from 86. Full cast of before they were famous actors ked by Charlie Shhen. Action while a true Love story plays out
Really good reaction and intelligent breakdown for such a young lady. Very impressive. Mindhunter was amazing!! If I may suggest 1996's Primal Fear for a crime drama/thriller, with Richard Gere and the awesome Edward Norton. Also 2007's Fracture with Sir Anthony Hopkins and Ryan Gosling. Another great crime thriller. For a legendary crime thriller, Season One of True Detective, which is dark, uncomfortable and acted ridiculously well will definitely not allow you to sleep! Keep it up!
It may be old but you'd find it hard to watch many modern horror movies, thrillers or crime series which haven't been influenced by this, even super heroe movies (not that this doesn't have it's own influences). Somerset's ticky, tocky thing is a metronome but they do get annoying... You'll see (I'm only 5 mins in😊)

Spacey was killing it in the 90's - this, LA Confidential and The Usual Suspects - three of the very best films of all time.
Saw it at the movies in '95, I COULD NOT MOVE until after the credits were finished. It remains to this day among my absolute favourite movies of all time. I watch it every 12 months or so, and it still devastates me....
"Of course it's Kevin Spacey" 🤣
Ironically, Mindhunters was also a Fincher creation. But it wasn’t cancelled. Fincher wanted to pursue other projects and didn’t relinquish control, so it just ended.
One of my favorite movies. I remember watching it in the theater and the absolute silence when it ended.
Because you were the only one there?

You are already one of my favorite RUclips reactors. Keep reacting to classic movies like this.

That ending always has my heart pounding every single time

Fallen is good.
The only Murder show is the detective murdering the suspect and yet it’s one of the most disturbing crime thriller ever. David Fincher is a genius
There are 4 by my count. 3 by Doe, 1 by Mills.

No one does creepy like Spacey. Is anyone surprised?
The ticking thing is a metronome. The speed of the ticking is adjustable. You can find one in a music store or online.
@2:02 It a metronome.
This movie ranked at #26 in the 100 scariest movie moments on Bravo
That was delightful and fun, thank you😊😊😊

My favorite line. "I didn't do that"

Shutter Island should be right up your alley.😉
Great reaction to a slightly disturbing movie. 😊 What’s in the box. 👏👏
"Slightly"? WTF?
A head
34:05 - 34:27 Oh, this is so heartbreaking knowing what is coming.

"What's in the f!ckin box ?"

The world is a 'fine' place?
But so many people cry though. Maybe it doesn't always hurt if you're the person hurting.
Not the best move. Whatever.

"Neighbors Beagle scares teen cures 8-year bout with hiccups"
Your channel should do a reaction to "The Others."
John Doe is right
Can you react to Heat 1995 starting Al Pacino and Robert de Niro
this is NOT a movie for tiny little PAWs .. 8/
Gwyneth Paltrow was head-hunted for the role of Tracy Mills.
The Head of Casting recommended her personally.
😂
An almost perfect movie but do you even see anything? Watching it in broad daylight is not optimal :)
Q hac 1 niña viendo sta pli?!
The sloth scene was the most traumatic thing I've ever seen.
Drugs kil--- zombify.
I always wondered what kind of punishment mills got for killing John Doe?
Whatever is appropriate for 2nd degree mordor in that state, I'd imagine.
Real life Joker.
With a festive religious flair! 😁

What's in the Box, What's in the Box??
First time watching you , good job
