Don't California our Nevada!
You seriously need to put your bong down, dude. Get a grip!
@@LauraVee63 😂😂😂😂 And illiterate
Too late
I don’t understand why illegal immigrants get free food, clothes, and shelter. But US citizens cannot!
Radicalism.
Biden just passed a bill today to give them free healthcare for the illegals. I just heard that on the radio I can’t believe it.
Right like why Don't we get 250 thousand to start are life's
@@maraylove7646 makes sense to me for the “richest country in the world.” Yet here we are with MILLIONS in poverty, struggling, hungry, and homeless.
The PUBLIC is NOT your home.
The land of the planet doesn’t belong to one person it belongs to all human beings. These people have seriously focused on doing nothing just like they focus on old irrelevant past offenses. 10~20~30 years should tell you people have since changed. But if this state is so concerned about public safety why did they ignore drunk drivers since 1955?
@@anthonymartinez4307same with COVID. If the virus was so dangerous then why did they allow the homeless to live on the street still. And why didn’t they all die too if it was so deadly?
Yes it is.
@@anthonymartinez4307 Its good to know who's business to avoid when traveling to Vegas, Bob seems to think hate is good for business... lol
The world is everyone's. Funny how if you found an island that you could be a billionaire on.. you'd change your mentality real quick.. the PUBLIC. Its fucking Earth you idiot. 😅
You can be homeless. But don’t sleep in public walkways, it’s a safety issue. Go sleep at Lauren’s yard
This is a life style choice. I used to work with the homeless and tried offering them public and private services to get off the streets. I was refused 90% of the time. Several of them also had thousands of dollars in cash on them. If you don’t want to be part of society, move out of the city.
Exactly!
Wrong. The world is hard now days and selfish and people can get evictions or screwed by others or lose their job. You are ignorant and wrong.
Many of the "help" people offer isn't available to everyone and shelters are dangerous and horrible places and some will not be accepted in them this is definitely not a lifestyle choice many are even working and are still homeless this system is against us all people are too brainwashed to see propaganda has warped their perception of things and created a false class devide a lot of people in America are literally one paycheck away from homelessness. Plenty of homeless people are also disabled and can't work so there forced to be on the streets SSI is also hard to get on for disabled people and not enough to survive on most of the time not to mention if you have invisible disabilites like Chronic pain, Autism, ADHD etc. SSI won't take you seriously because this "Society" doesn't value human life itself. People will keep trying to make excuses but this system is to blame even among those that work the cost of living and cost of basic necessities are rising and the wages are stagnant while corporate billionaires get to sit on their ass and profit from your work this system is actively creating more homeless people.

Enabling people doesn’t help! Look at Seattle, Portland, San Francisco, and downtown L.A. Those city’s downtowns are DESTROYED. GET TOUGH!!
Sad but true. Gotta make public camping illegal nationwide.
That lady thinks these people have the right to bake to death on the streets when temps hit over 110?
I don't even know why this is an issue. You don't just get to post up where ever you want!! It's called vagrancy.
All these people who have compassion for the homeless should invite them to move in with them.
I hope the supreme court will hand down a rule or law requiring any city that signed into law prohibiting Camping or sleeping in their city limits to build a homeless shelter for the homeless because they signed into law that they don't want the homeless in their city limits, the city of Henderson signed into law prohibiting Camping and sleeping in their city limits so the Supreme Court needs to enforce that the city of Henderson has to build a shelter for the homeless because they say they have a homeless problem
Yeah, it's dumb to create a law but not enforce it. There are still homeless people sleeping in parks and on trails. They've got tents There'll be tents set up on empty lots that visible from traffic. As longs as they keep to themselves and clean up after themselves it's ok with me. Unfortunately, it was easier to remove a bus stop than provide services to homeless that were sleeping at the bus stop on water/Army. That bus stop was close to a senior center used by elderly. I will say without the bus stop there no homeless people close by at night sleeping.
The government overreach is sickening! The state has the powers to make laws in their states.
Why as journalists aren’t you researching this!?
This IS insanity!!!
What I see getting done is nothing, we will become our neighbor California skidrow vegas !
Just because you sleep at a park doesn't necessarily mean you are homeless as long as it is not after hours plus I see people doing meth at the park and they don't get busted.
Almost all of them could have help if they would let it happen. This is a health hazard waiting to explode.

There no drugs or booze behind bars. . . They want to be outside
Talk to them they don't want a job or home they want free living and drugs.
I have offered many of them work, and they tell me F off.
So you’re mad because they didn’t want your help? 😂😂 go cry about it somewhere else.
I call bullshit!!!
Your brain is not working right@@KarenPatrol123
Why is Las Vegas worried about past criminal offenses where people already paid for their debt to society and have changed since then? How is that of any help? Why has this state turned a blind eye to drunk drivers who kill innocent people or reckless drivers who kill people? Focusing on past offenses does nothing for you but waste time and money and space. You make people loose their job who then turn homeless. You managed to ignore the two real main problems only to focus on irrelevant issues.

@@LauraVee63you've got to have laws or you get Anarchy like we have now
Oh please! Just watch what has happened in CA! Watch out Nevadans!!! Homelessness now adays is mostly about drug usage and not wanting to get mental health treatment! So let’s call it what it is, a bunch of poor choices one makes. Don’t let Nevada look like Southern California folks!
1000 dollar fine 🤔 these people r homeless how the fuck r they gonna pay it
Instead of sending trillions overseas, we need to address our homeless and drug crisis. Build mental health clinics and lead people to a better life.
I would make government social workers accountable for their actions; our systems in place now our corrupt and used to launder money. *see California😢
Probably would be able to help Americans if all our tax money wasn't going to other peoples wars
I mean maybe there is some truth to that. But isn’t this mostly a local issue.
Dang republicans voted to send 110 billion overseas
@@frankmacleod2565 That was Congress in total. Brought up by Joe Biden
@@MH-eu1dr They skipped the mayor, government, city officials and went straight to the congress. These people will say anything to sound smart. Don’t even know our branches of government to be demanding anything 😂😂😂😂
There are three factors in play with homelessness. First, it the rampant greed of landlords and corporations over existing housing. Second, the unbridled desire for power with some politicians thereby blocking the construction of housing for low income folks and finding viable solutions' beyond any construction options, otherwise known as the "not in my neighborhood syndrome." Third and finally, the homeless themselves share responsibility in that some are mentally ill, others are drug addicted, a few are opportunistic criminals looking to prey on the homeless, with the remaining individuals being without employment, or a support system to help them exit homelessness.
Each of these sub groups have different needs and until our government officials come to terms with those facts we will continue down this path of resolving nothing. You can not treat each homeless person alike. Our incompetent representatives have proved that, time and time again. Investing in our communities is the path to healing.
There's a big difference between existing in a public place & making it your home.
Where can they go? It’s about to get very hot? Many people live in their cars nowadays . Many cannot afford a rent.
Agree thats why they should not be letting people walk into our Country because no jobs or housing they have no choice but to live in the streets and steal
I wanna see them enforce that when all those losers camp out for the newest iphone or concert tickets etc.
Why are people homeless? Some people who are homeless don't want to be, but ended up that way due to unfortunate circumstances such as losing a job, getting an eviction, etc. Those people can and should be helped with programs that provide short term food and shelter, job training, and public transportation, but that requires spending money, which some taxpayers don't want to do from public funds. Some of these folks who don't want to spend public money entertain the belief that anyone can pull themselves up by their own bootstraps. Although some small fraction of the population have done this, in general this belief is nonsense.
Others are homeless due to the effects of drug addiction. Some addicts can be helped but again this requires spending money on treatment and followup care. Too many people see drug addiction as a problem of moral terpitude, which it is not, and don't want to spend taxpayer money on a solution. Addiction may start after someone makes poor decisions to experiment with drugs or after incorrect use of painkillers, but certain people's biochemistry makes them more susceptible to addiction. Once addicted, an active user cannot simply make the decision to quit. Nor can they normally be "cured" due to some transformative religious experience. Further, there is no single treatment regime that works for everyone. Each addict must be treated with a program that is effective for them. This may require multiple attempts to find an effective method for that individual. If an effective treatment method is found, then most of the people will require long term followup care such as a support program from groups like Narcotics Anonymous. Again, all these programs cost money.
Yet others are homeless as a consequence of the effects of mental illness. Many of the mentally ill will simply refuse help. In general the law does not allow the confinement or forced treatment of the mentally ill unless they are a menace to themselves or to someone else, and even then they usually cannot be confined or forced to take medication for a long period of time. If they are medicated and improve, they may be released but then quit taking the medication because they believe they are "cured" or simply because the medication has side effects they don't like. I am uncertain about what solutions may exist for the homeless mentally ill. If we change the laws to allow confinement and forced treatment of the mentally ill, there is grave potential for misuse of those laws by applying them to those who may not be mentally ill but just very different from what some consider to be the norm.
Regardless of the cause, the solutions for homelessness will cost money to provide temporary food and shelter, job training, public transportation, and treatment of drug addiction and mental illness. Serious attempts to address these problems will cost significant amounts of money. It is difficult to believe that these programs can or will be completely funded through charities. If we do not spend taxpayer funds on these programs but instead criminalize the status of being homeless and continue to try to push the homeless population out of sight and out of mind, that says that as a people we are significantly lacking empathy in our collective moral character, particularly for those military veterans whose service and its effects on their mental health may have contributed to their present circumstances.
That woman with the big A needs to move them in her house in her backyard in her front yard how about that?
Yesssss plz
They are impeding the passage of tax payers who paid for those sidewalks. Let’s make wider sidewalks then?
Nevada fears if they do something for the homeless then more homeless will come here.
Free America.
And god bless the homeless.
Public land belongs to taxpayers!! Not homeless!!
Why doesn’t she offer her place too a homeless ?
The people for the homeless are making the problem worse there are cheap enough places to live but people don’t want to pay rent… a she even said it herself to save money. But there’s places to live so I see a issue with mental health with people for homeless people
Idiotic hyperbole from the low IQ "Christian reich" wing "pro-life family values" party members strikes again. @MrBrownnn696 Its not your fault that your parents are each others brother and sister, Karen...
The property values will definitely be impacted by those setting up in those neighborhoods A man in Oregon is suing the city for allowing tents to be set up on his street. He cannot sell his home and has a a job offer in another state. It's not that people don't care but what is the long term plan for these people?
He's not trapped in his house. He'll have to take a loss on his house.
@@tuffguydoe7937 If he can even sell it. Those tents for a realtor are like a fart in church to a priest.
Lots of extra food from buffet for them perfect solution 🙏
All about optics. Looks bad for politicians.
With all the stupid money the city spend on the F1, how about building something for those homeless people and house them there
This is NOTHING "20" yrs.( Millions!)
Maybe, we solve the CAUSES of homelessness instead of punishing people for being homeless.
Your not free in America. It’s all one sham.
I always love looking at Ms. Schulz! 🔥🔥
This makes perfect sense, let's accrue more bureaucratic crap which costs money, in order to charge more of what they already dont have any of.
At this point the city has to be patient. The city is acting rash too soon.
BSC part 1
Send them all to Harvest Life Christian fellowship we will take care of them
I see nothing wrong with people who CHOOSE to not have a permanent home ? But… Leaving piles of trash everywhere, urine/shit and creating unsafe and unsanitary conditions should not be something we accept. If you choose to be homeless but continue to abuse drugs and be a nuisance to a neighborhood than you should be mentally evaluated and if your not able to be rehabilitated I don’t know what the answer is… what do you do with people who have damaged their brains so much they can’t come back? You can’t do anything, so we gotta help the kids, all of them, to make smarter choices than mom and dad did. I think our schools failed too many kids who slipped through the system… The school boards, mayor, city officials, etc LOVE that everyone thinks voting doesn’t matter because if average Americans paid attention to these things we’d have more opinions ideas and important conversations
Mobile homes
Yes its unconstitutional, if you think otherwise than youre heartless... How does any city expect a homeless person to pay a fine... How about building more shelters ... Just building affordable homes isnt the solution anymore. I think there is only have 3 or 4 shelters in city. Something has to be done and fine or jail isnt right.
Every city is now skid row border towns its over juss stop crying already
please casino overlords...save us.
yeah try to fine or issue a ticket to a homeless. impossible! what ever happened to vagrancy laws.
