Drive shouldn't have been afraid to switch his factions after the MoK wasn't working out.

Great final two games from Drive against Green Zero; that last game could've gone either way so many times.
Drive started off incredibly well against Bike, but Bike eventually figured out how to counter the rushes. Not sure if MoK is the best faction for that rush style, as none of their advantages are being used there. The other two Nod factions have flame tanks to sneak around to unattended parts of opposing base, and Nod vanilla can get laser scorps. In games 2 and 5, when Bike managed to tech up, his own MoK play was excellent.
Excellent cast as always, and thanks to everyone involved for the entire tournament!
The 2WF all in doesn't have tech that goes along with it, so in that particular strat having or not having flame tanks doesn't matter. I imagine that specific build is a little better with MoK because of the EMP from awakened, but after the initial sell off of some buildings even that doesn't matter since you get no more inf.
Oh yeah, I forgot about the lack of tech. I guess I was thinking more about the last game, but that wasn't an all-in rush.
Yeah in matches that progress to the mid or late game not having flame tanks (or any flame weapons) can be a bit of a hindrance, so you have to be more intentional about playing to MoK strengths.
C&C 3 will always have a special place to my heart that game will be forever a masterpiece shame EA no longer do any C&C with the murder of C&C 4 i would never forgive them for what they did

I'm so surprised y'all still play this old gem!! I've been playing since I was 7 and I'm 28 now lol. My dad played the original N64 C&C and taught me the turtle technique and I've loved it since. I'd love to see y'all's community and see how y'all do it!

Question: are there any addons you can add for commentary purposes? i.e. Income / Number of units / Harvesters.. etc? it'd really add a lot of value to your commentary if such addons exist.
No such things exist as far as I know. I have been told that tools are possible, but no one has made it work yet.

Very entertaining, shocked that I actually watched all of this, gd game and gd commentary. Just dunno what happened to Drive on that final match, his starter army got wiped but then over 5 minutes he never rebuilt an army, maybe saved too long for a Redeemer? Either way, gd defending from Bike who surprisingly almost seemed reluctant to attack by that stage. Cragtz to all

2:06:36 it was actually a good catalyst, it killed the ref closer to the war factory, so now not only do the harvs pile up and bug out but they also can't repair when docking. And if any bikes come in, he'll have to move the harvs much further back in defense (losing even more mining time). If he went for the other ref, the harvs could've just healed back while docking near the WF. Since there were no bikes incoming, it really made little difference but I think he made the right choice.

Really happy to have found this channel, it's very entertaining ! May I offer one piece of advice ? If it can be helped, the players should have better distinguishing colors ... for example, in game #3 they both played GDI one being green and the other turquoise ... it was difficult to tell them apart
Mountain Pass is such a beautiful map. Great contrast to all those desert or city maps.
Forgot how much fun this game is too watch, actually feels like a war where as sc2 seems like tiny little battles.
I'm not sure what pleases me more-listening to the plays being shoutcasted, or listening to the game glitches being announced with equal enthusiasm...

this game has aged incredibly well, i'm surprised. is there any specific reason why it doesnt have a big competitive scene?
Part of the good aging is the game is running a "remaster" of sorts made by a community member who went through and remastered all the assets to 4k.

And even though I know there's guaranteed money rewards for the finalists, and even though I admit those particular finals were really good, and I can even see they're nearly on the same skill level, so they nearly match as duel rivals, I even damn see my favorite faction Nod being played decently, which sure is a pleasant sight for Kane and witnessing this can absolutely leave not a slightest chance for me to feel myself unhappy with the play, one thing or the other...
Yet still, sometimes I just think there's no real opposition to Bike, with him stomping people over and over...
And that thinking makes me deeply sad and kinda depressed/desperate. Like what's the point to watch games if I already know the outcome for all of them?..

Concluding it all : the series were good, the overall quality makes me to Like the vid. But it's a spoiled honey pot for me for how Bike just murdered everyone. I am upset. At least this way you get an opinion from my heart.

the camera thing is an engine bug. You can get around it by zooming in, moving to the bottom, and pressing middle click to reset the zoom level. If the map has very strange elevation, then it may make things worse, so you'll have to do it at different parts of the map.
Yeah I definitely feel like some maps it's worse than others or maybe it's more likely to happen on some maps than others.
@@OneSybert It's caused by the elevation, on uneven terrain you can't tell which "point" of the ground will the camera reset focus on. On even terrain, this isn't an issue and you get consistent results.

It's on my RUclips channel. You can find both the standard and alternate version on moddb, but its best acquired through command post as 1.02+ r18 maps feature the most amount of stuff.

May I ask a question? Whats your bitrate settings for the video? I have a 100Mbit/s connection and I can barely even watch things at 1080p. It constantly buffers. 1440p buffers so much, that I gave up on it. Maybe things are set to be a bit too high? There's a program called "Handbrake". it removes unnessecary information in the video and gives you a way smaller filesize which allows for faster playback. Also has the ability to adjust your bitrate in there. back when I used to make videos, I always used that one on a rendered file. Could help you out a bit if you feel like it, but you probably got it handled! : 3 (Currently working rather close in the field of making videos. Got quite the years of experience. : P)
RUclips compresses the videos and crunches them down for streaming when I upload. They have their own bitrate standards that they conform videos to. and they lower the bitrate from what I export as. I've done a bunch of experimenting with bitrate settings to find a good balance of file size and quality.
I don't have a problem watching my or anyone else's 4K videos on RUclips, not sure why you do.
@@OneSybert I am also not sure. Your videos are the only ones which buffer for me even at 1080p. Everyone elses stuff I could theoretically watch at 4k/60fps. Doesn't seem to buffer even once. I tried it in a lot of browsers, all seem to show the same buffering effect.
I am aware of youtubes compression system. Things will still be heavily affected by the source-file though. At least, it used to be like that when I made videos for a few years.
But I know the feel. The experimenting with those bitrate-settings never stops.. really.
You are doing great though! I'll watch things in whatever way possible. Got me back to playing Kanes wrath again! Didn't even know that Multiplayer was still a thing. Last time I checked.. I had used the last day of the official servers and thought, that it was now forever lost.

One thing I want to do (depending on how work goes) this year is more streaming and get a more complete streaming set up so that's something I'll keep in mind.

Googled Green Zero today and saw a Revora post from a few years ago. According to the post, Green Zero was a complete a-hole.
